Ahh! I am soo angry, I kept waiting and saw then 40% off so I bought my daughter the owl one for 13.00 and now they have it for 5.00! 🙁

    • Katie

If you have your receipt, buy it for $5 and return it for $13. Or you could ask them if they’ll adjust it. Target will adjust the price if it goes on sale within a week or two of buying it if you still have the receipt.

Old navy has removed this ad in their Facebook page.

I thought same thing, but I wasn’t logged in, then when I did, it showed up. Not sure what happened. But it did come up. HTH

    • Sara Thompson

      I still see it.

  3. Amie

I’m heading there this morning hoping to find some fun costumes for my dress up booth for my sons carnival party in dec.

  4. Heather

You should go online and see if they have any at your store..we don’t have any in pretty much all if the styles within a 25 mile radius. Might save you a trip since the stock seems to be pretty depleted.

  5. Linda R

They only had dinosaur for boys and cat for girls at the store I went to this morning. Luckily, they had my 15 month old’s size, so, he’ll be a super cute dino for Halloween!

  6. Jessica

6 costumes total in my store! 0-6 months and 6- 12months sizes. Another old navy promotion disappointment. :/

  7. Sarah N.

I went this morning and they only had little costumes 0-12 months. They had quite a few left if you need them in this size. However, I needed bigger!

  8. Jennine

I went in just after 9 this morning and ut was slim pickins but i did mange to score one for yhis year and next. Good amount 0-12m but not a whole bunch bigger

  9. Jennifer

I got the princess costume in 4T/5T. It’s too big this year but will be good for next Halloween. Like others said, they mostly had little kids (0-12 mos) costumes left. Also, I saw quite a few costumes that only had one of the two pieces (like top, but no pants).

  10. Selina

Just called old navy and the girl told me they only have two left:-( oh well I really needed costumes for my girls!

  11. Kristie

Murfreesboro, TN a bust. They had only infant sizes and about six costumes total. This is the first year I haven’t been able to score one in about five years. We are set for this year and next anyway so no biggie!

  12. Danielle

Went this morning – not a lot of costumes left maybe 5 in Columbus (Olentangy).

  13. Kristi

The Springfield, IL store still had quite a few, but only had the Zebra in 12-24 months (didn’t look at the girl costumes). So, Antony is a Zebra this year and looks so cute! Thanks so much for the heads up on this!

  14. megan

its a pity, i wanted to head out to this this year like i have before but we are a one car family. hubby needed the car today (first time in a month!) so there will be old navy costume for our new baby next year or our 4.5 year old. ah well. these are my favorite favorite costumes i love the way they fit!

  15. Duduwa

Thanks! Just got back. There are not many big ones. most are 12-24 months. Found one 2-3T zebra for now and one 4-5T green dinosaur for later. The 2-3T zebra only has top and I found a 4-5T pants alone without any top. Bought both and going to do some sewing tonight. 🙂

  16. Anne

Went this morning and a lady bought about 30 costumes all the bigger sizes. All that was left was 12-24 month and smaller.

    • Laura

I hate that people do that… it is so rude!!

      • Sammy

I am not justifying what she did but sometimes we have to step into others’ shoes and think outside of the box. Did you think WHY she was buying 30 exact costumes? She could’ve been a teacher at a school with absolutely NO resources and a class full of students whose parents are struggling to put food onto the table. Maybe she was trying to brighten their day. I don’t support when people do this kind of stuff for personal interests but sometimes we have to open our minds that there could be other reasons.

        • Torri

          Very well said Sammy 🙂

I was at the Village Pointe Old Navy in Omaha at 10:00am today. They had a ton of small costumes (18 months on down) but not much for the big kids. I was able to grab a cute unicorn for my baby girl. The cashier said they had been very busy since they opened at 9:00am.

  18. Diana G

Springfield, VA not much left. A few infant sized costumes 12 mos and under. A couple 12-18. Nothing else Halloween themed. I wasn’t too bummed as I wasn’t needing one but thought I’d grab for next year if I could. And I needed something else from there anyway. Good luck!

  19. Amy D

Got there right when they opened at 10….about 8 others were waiting to get in as well. Within 5 minutes they were just about gone just small sizes left….got parrot costumes for my girls in 5t. Glad I got there right when they opened

  20. Lexus7321

absolutely nothing left in n. chs, sc. Called the tanger location, too and they had two mermaid costumes and the leopard- both infant sizes.. This was at 1030 this morning. I don’t think they had any to begin the day- wasted trip and annoyed: (

  21. Victoria

I was at my location BEFORE they opened. Then once they opened I sat in my car with my sleeping 9 month old and watched customer after customer walk in and then out with NOTHING!! One lady actually had a bag when she came out. I would think most would have been going in for the costume sale as nearly all the people had children with them. My point? My Old Navy didn’t have much of anything at opening either. Horrible marketing to not know if stores have enough stock to support an email blast. I was lucky enough to walk out with something as not to make my getting out of the car worthless, I scanned the boys clearance and found a parrot costume marked down. Upon checking out the girl told me it was a $5 one vs the $10 clearance sticker. Although it won’t fit this year, for 5 bucks I’ll take my chance on next. Still upset I couldn’t score something for my other boys!

    • Lexus7321

I agree! they should not have done an email blast! it made it seem like there would be options in the store! plus, there really want much in the way of Halloween that would support the 50% off portion of sale either: ( This was the first time I have gone to old navy for one of these “great” sales and I’m not sure if I would go out of my way again.

    • Erin

I went around 10-11 as an afterthought, and an employee told me their store had only three that morning. They handed out $5 coupons, which was awesome, since I really didn’t need a costume anyway. I was hoping to get one for dress up.

      • Lexus7321

oh, that’s awesome! I knew I should have asked! I did the same thing- was just hoping to stock for next year or give as a gift for dress up. At least you got something out of your trip:)

      • Rachel

Maybe we were at the same store Erin. lol. I went before opening–drove 30 minutes to get there, only to find they had 2 costumes. Period. And one was a dog costume. Ridiculous. They passed out $5 gift certificates for the first few of us, but after that started telling people they were sorry but there had been costumes that morning and they were gone. SUCH a lie. They told us they had hardly received any costumes in the first place. Old Navy seriously dropped the ball on this one–super disappointing.

  22. Cara

I buy some every year when they go on sale – not for Halloween as I’m making those but for dress up! My store was a bust today though – not much left. I was hoping for a 4/5T mermaid one for my daughter and her friend who love to do dress up together but oh well!

  23. Jess

I went to a Denver store this AM at 10 AM and got 2 decent costumes. There weren’t many left then. When I was checking out, the clerk told me there were a ton of costumes on hold in bags in the back as people had called in first thing in the morning. I guess the store was willing to hold the costumes for the day. I was pretty bummed the they did this while the rest of us hurried in, hoping to grab anything left.

    • Lexus7321

I’m not sure how I feel about putting the costumes on hold. part of me believes it is super unfair for a doorbuster sale, but part of me is just mad that I didn’t think of it! lol!

  24. Angie

I went to an Old Navy outlet here in so cal and they had all the costumes in stock in almost all sizes this morning!

  25. Angie

Make sure you check the outlet stores! When I checked out this morning, the lady said the reason why they had so much stock is because this was the first year they received costumes. And not a lot of people knew about it!

  26. Tara

Found the mermaid and princess costumes left but honestly I thought they were poor quality and I can’t believe they were selling for more than 5 dollars…..so I shopped for me instead! 🙂
