My husband got a Ninja blender system a couple of years ago for Christmas and we LOVE it. It’s not as awesome as say a Vitamix or a Blendec, but for the price, you can’t get a better blender. We love doing ice in it to make snocones for the kids.

Be extremely careful with this. I got one last year and the blade does not lock down. Needless to say when I took the lid off to pour the blade came flying out and severed my two tendons and almost completely took off a finger tip. These blades have had a lot of accident reports filed.
I used my moms, and thought it was way weird that the blades don’t attach. Luckily I wasn’t injured, but it is still way annoying.
