Actually, the deodorant deal is a little better than you posted. You get a total of 7000 points back wyb 4. (3000 for this week, 4000 for next week—since you are buying FOUR. The deal is get 2000 points wyb TWO, so since you’re buying 4, you get the 4000 points!) So, after tax a little better than free!
I just did the deodorant deal and that is how it worked!
Also, look for bonus packs of the Men’s Degree Adrenaline. I tested them, and they do work for the points!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yep… you are right! Thanks for catching that. Just updated! 🙂

I am in Southwest Houston, Sugar Land. Does anyone know a place that starts the next weeks sale early? TIA

    • LiIly

I’m in the same area ,don’t they all? Or are there some that don’t?

    • Jennifer

I’m in Sugar Land too, & the cashiers & managers make a huge stink about it at the CVS on Hwy 6 & Brooks St. (Sun. sales start Sat. nights) because people were taking advantage of it (& doing things like bringing all 8 members of their family to get the one per household deals that you get the CVS bucks for …even the family members so young that they barely knew how to carry on the conversation w/ the cashier to make the purchase, & the items that were the best deals were all sold out before Sunday even came around. Not too long ago CVS started making it where the CVS cards link all members w/ same address together so it prevents those people from being able to do that, but I think sales still start Sat. night.)
At the Walgreens on Sweetwater Blvd (near Hwy 59) I remember the cashiers & managers telling shoppers left & right, “no ma’am that sale doesn’t start until Sunday…it’s in tomorrow’s ad” so seemed like they might have been doing that sometime in the recent past, but stopped. I know for sure that the 24 hr Walgreens in Missouri City doesn’t change the prices until AFTER midnight. The new touchscreen cash registers Walgreens locations (most of them) got around 1 year ago changed anything & everything fun about the whole couponing/sale thing, & all of the locations I’ve seen in Sugar Land have the new ones, so I bet the sales don’t begin early anywhere near here. I think you have to find an itty bitty location in the middle of nowhere to find the ones that start early, but I hope I’m wrong!

Anyone know the price on the Nice! brand swiffer-like cloths (both wet & dry)?

    Thanks!

  4. shan

The Nice Swiffer clothes are on sale for $3.74 bogo! Great deal. Just went to buy toilet paper and there were two sisters checking out who bought 25 packages each! They cleared the shelves which is frustrating.

    • Case

That’s crazy there is no limit on what you can buy.

  5. Zach

Actually you can get better than free deodorant. If you buy 2 degree adrenaline and buy 2 women’s degree. There are $1.50 printable coupons for both. With the b1g1 50% off you’re looking at around $11 for all 4. Use $6 in coupons and pay around $5 and change and get back 7k points.

You could also use the $3/2 dove coupon and work dove into the transaction also. Pairing the $4.50 Tums RR with the dove coupon leaves your subtotal under $1.

    • campanita

Zach, do you know which Dove deodorant is included in the Bonus Points deal?
I would prefer to buy Dove, TIA 🙂

      • Zach

It was the go fresh, clear tone, go sleeveless, pretty much everything that is listed on the $3/2 coupon

        • campanita

Thank you very much, just came back from the store and got the clear tone and go sleeveless. I am in California, still time if someone wants to do the deal and is in California too 🙂
It was easier to use the $3/2 and bought 4 in the same transaction, coupon worked w/o beeps. I was excited buying deodorants, eggs, milk, toothpaste that I totally forgot about the Lindt chocolate 🙁

      • alison

our store didn’t and they hadn’t even got the tickets out for tomorrow…so it was trial and error

  6. Case

I just went and did the lindt deal, I bought 7. Before anyone gives me grief there were plenty and I mean plenty in stock. As the cashier checked me out there was another cashier standing there and he called me a cheater. I’m assumning bc I paid nothing. I nicely told him, because I use coupons does not mean I am a cheater. Coupons are available to all who choose to use, and you will be reimbursed. People are so cruel

    • Case

And I am using these for Christmas filler:)

    • Shayna

I got 6. I asked the manager if there was a limit and he said usually he will set a limit but because the store was empty, he wouldnt. He then came up and watched me check out. I think he was more excited than I was about a customer getting something for free. I think that was the best experience I have ever had in a store coupons or not.

    • Jennifer

can’t believe he said you were a cheater! I would’ve told him if I’m a cheater, then he’s a thief for standing around watching transactions that he has no part of while on the clock…that, unlike me using coupons, has to actually paid for by Walgreens!

  7. Annie

Thank You, I was just able to purchase some TP. Shelf was empty but clerk brought some out from the back.

  8. Missy

The Nice bath tissue price of 2/$5 runs til 11/27, so (hopefully) the b1g1 double dip of 1.25 per 6pk will last this whole week.

  9. Holly

    I got 4 Degree d/o a few minutes ago. I got jipped!

My prices are $6.29 (I checked out another store after and the prices were .20cents higher. Darn California prices). Thinking, I’ll give it a shot at the registers. When I saw the scanned prices, I was thinking– “that would NOT be free”. But the $1.50MQ’s wouldn’t scan so the cashier quickly called over the manager. I had planned to tell her to cancel the transaction but I realized which manager was on staff (due do past experience, his proven himself to be uneducated about Walgreens and their policies. Plus he isn’t friendly), I felt like I was stuck to purchase the items.

So with the DD and MQ’s it comes out to .50cents per d/o. Err! I felt like I overpaid considering I have never paid for d/o (try to get it free).

  10. Angie

Walgreens , in my opinion, has the worst customer service and very rude. Last week, when I try to buy the cereal and the manager told me I could not use the store coupon booklet because the cereal price was set for “tomorrow, which is November” and the October booklet is for October. She told me that she was going to reset the price so I could not use it. She went to the computer and after 5 mins when I went to ring up, it worked anyway. I just told her I was not doing anything wrong. I was using a coupon on oct and it has not expired. I told her you do whatever you need to do.

    • alison

My son had the same performance when he tried to use the mars peanut bites deal, they said he couldn’t use 2 MFQ and a store coupon on 2 items…which is totally wrong. I wrote to corporate and splashed it on their facebook website, Walgreens got back to me, but they had the store call my son, so that was a waste of time, shows corporate aren’t doing a thing to get their staff to know coupon rules.

    • Katy

agree… Today I was checking out and the cashier said, “do you really have to make this so difficult by using coupons?” I laughed and said you betcha! And then asked him to only scan one item at a time, I questioned the price, asked a few pointless questions and went on to ring up each item in the process. He wasn’t happy at all but it made me feel better bc it wouldn’t of been difficult had he just said “hi, how are you?” buuuut nooo you’ve got to go and be rude! (disclaimer: nobody else was in line at the registers so I didn’t mind being “difficult”) I rarely shop Walgreens and today reminded me why….

      • Jennifer

yep….RUDE! I would’ve said “it’s only difficult if you aren’t properly trained to do your job, & I’ve got mine down quite well, how about you?”

  11. alison

The deal for the body wash doesn’t work…..you have listed below the purchase of 1..and 1 free so you are spending $5.29 not $10…I tried this and had to put 2 deodorants with it to get the points, as the checkout only registers 1 and 1 free.

    Deal Scenario:
Buy 2 Men’s Dove Care + Body 13.5 oz $5.29 each (based on online price)
    Total After 25% Off = $3.97 each
    Minus the buy 1 get 1 Free sale = $3.97 for 2
Use 2 $1/1 Dove Men Plus Care Body Wash, Body and Face Bar or Active Clean Shower Tool coupons found here
    Final Cost $1.97 – $0.99 each!
