The Kmart by me doesn’t accept printable coupons. They said they’ve experienced too many problems with them.
Cashier told me today they don’t accept printable coupons because of the issue of fake coupons and corporate ofc emailed them not to accept it until they find out the legit printable coupons to accept by kmart.
There was a 2 off one package of viva paper towels in the Sunday newspaper exp 12/31/2013, can not remember which one it was, anyways it is a manufactures coupon but is written on it redeemable at Kroger can I still use it???

Also, this week you can buy a $25 Kmart gift card and get a free $5 gift card and 2000 SYW points! Did this then used the $25 gift card. Made sure my total was over $25 so my coupons would double. Picked up some bottled water and diet coke for the holidays to get me over $25. HTH!

They are having sooo much trouble over here in California kmarts. There were people with not one but two carts full to the top and the rewards system shut down so the automatic $3 was not coming off then they announced that cooperate told them not to adjust anything and they could sell them until everything was fixed. Thats even if you are lucky to find any shelves are cleared

Just went to Kmart earlier today to score the cottonelle. Bought 3 packs of 12 rolls and automatically deducted the $3 and printed another $3 for next transaction 🙂
Will I be able to use the Catalina immediately on a separate transaction? K Mart is a bit of a drive for me so I probably wouldn’t be back there anytime soon. The majority of our stores are now K Dollars.

Look on ebay just type in 10/13 smart source coupons and it will show you a picture of that one.

The final cost is $5.97, not $2.97! The Catalina coupon cannot be used when you purchase the Cottonelle toilet paper, therefore it does not reduce the cost of the toilet paper. It has to be used in another transaction whenever you go back to the store. If you don’t go back to use the Catalina coupon, the value is lost (which is exactly what they hope will happen).

So then you can not roll the catalina?
You can roll it to your next purchase just not the current transaction. Read below, I think someone mentioned they used it right after on another purchase. Hth
The computer would not let me roll the catalina from the 1st transaction into the next transaction. The manager didnt know why it would but Im pretty sure it was a catalina from cottonelle so you cant roll it into another Cottonelle transaction. Unless you were buying something else with it. My experience yesterday.
did you have more coupons than items when you tried to use the catalina? It is a manufacturing coupon so it attaches to an item. If you have 3 items you can only use 3 coupons including the catalina.
I also had this same problem today. My cashier ended up taking a dollar off of each item so I could use the Catalina. Total pain but I guess it was worth it

Yes, I rolled the 1st $3 catalina for another 3 packs of cottonelle and got another $3 cat..Glad to be stocked for a while. Shelves were cleared of the Viva paper towels so no luck there 🙁

yes! I did but the viva cat is over now. The Kleenex cat still works.

Yes, I rolled the catalina just fine in Ohio. I used it both ways. The viva cat on the cottenelle. Then I rolled the cottenelle on more cottenelle!

Yes you will need to have something the cat can attach to. A cheap koolaid packet works great.

No. Must be done separately.
You also have to make sure you are at a register with a catalina machine. Our Kmart does not have the catalina at the service desk or layaway, so customers are not getting what they should.
Did it but they insisted the Catalina was for use online only though it said nothing like that. Eventually the honored it in store.
It might be a silly question. But advertisement for the $3 Catalina includes the viva, but In the post it states it is no longer available. Can anybody confirm that? (Despite the advertisement saying it is until the 9th)
The advertisement is for the instant savings, but not the Catalina promotion. The Viva Catalina promotion ended yesterday, but the Cottonelle Catalina started today. HTH. 🙂

I WAS KICKED OUT OF THE STORE. I can not see myself shopping at bloomingdale il Kmart again. I went today. I purchased a gift card. Then I purchased toilet paper. In a different transaction I started purchasing toys, detergent and more toilet paper. But I had questions about kamrt points that the cashier couldnt answer so he asked customer service. The customer service supervisor was annoyed since we had more than one question. She came to register for the 2nd time and yelled at me that I could only do one transaction and that she wouldn’t let me use more coupons or purchase anything anymore. She told me I could leave and come back a different day. So I took my cart to the customer service emptied it out since I didn’t get to pay for the items that were already bagged in there. Then I took the 3 packs of toilet paper I had already paid for and returned them because I didn’t think Kmart deserved my money. The supervisor Ashley was very rude not just to me but to the cashier as well since he got yelled at as well. The cashier, Max was very niece, and patient about my questions, too bad all it takes is a rotten apple to ruin a store.

That is awful! The crazy thing is that the store lost more money just by being hateful and not trying to help than if they would have just let you use your coupons. The supervisor was way out of line and more than unreasonable. You did nothing wrong……this is just a story about someone that does not need to be in customer service….period.
And you wonder why the stores are closing… I only shop at Kmart when I see deals on here. I went tonight. I saw starting tomorrow you can save $1.00 per gallon of gas if you spend $40 on Kimberly Clark products. I’ll go back just for that.

There is also a $1.50 off toilet paper and wipes coupon available at the company website. If you share, it goes up to $2.00. I don’t know what the cost of the wipes runs, though.

GM cereals are $2.50. I’m doubling the .75 off Trix coupon in 11/3 smartsource (so $1 per box), the $.75 off poptarts coupons on Kellogg’s website (12 packs are $2.50, so $1 after double), the $1/2 GM cereals on coupons.com, etc.
I bought nestle chocolate morsels, on sale for 2.50 coupon, for $1 doubled to $2. I also purchased some Pepsi cans used a $2 coupon, it did not double. Anything grocery will work or health, I believe. Hosting thanksgiving so I added the soda and morsels to my trip. I tried looking through my coupons to find high value coupons that would work for me. My oop was only 11.69 (which I used the 5 bonus gc I received, then the ,4 bucks I earned by purcahsing the gc, so I still have a little over 13 left on gc.):) I never shop at Kmart but so thankful for this deal!
does anyone know..if I want to double coupons..i buy 3 cottennell for 11.97 does 11.97 count towards $25.00 to spend or do you deduct the $3.00 so only 8.97 count towards your $25.00..
The $25 is after any Kmart coupons or deductions, so only $8.97 would count.

Gonna try this again later in the week. I know with the Viva, I was only allowed to use the Catalina and two coupons. The register beeped and just wouldn’t take it. I tried it with the kool-aid packet too and it didn’t work. Not sure what that’s about. I was going to call corporate about it, but what I ended up with was internet sales that knew nothing about in store purchases.

My experience at the only Kmart in my area was not a good experience. I purchased 3 12 packs of the Cottonelle tissue. The $3.00 instant savings didn’t work, they didn’t accept my printable coupon and my catalina coupons didn’t print because her printer was broken…Ugh!

I told her that was not right. she said, that they are still trying to figure out this so she gave me 3.00 of my order anyway.
why are some stores working were they take the 3.00 instant off and some are not.
if they are all on the same computer system, then the 3.00 should automatically come off at all stores.

No, sorry, purchases have to be made in a single transaction in order to get the Catalina. The Catalina has nothing to do with the rewards card.

i got mine just fine. there was a TON of the viva and cottonelle there. another lady was trying to use the $2 coupon and of course it didn’t work. i told her she had to buy the wipes too. and she no i don’t. i said, it says AND. she was like, “oh”. but made them go through the hassle of trying to override every coupon she had. and it was like 6 of them. 🙁 she knew she was cheating them but did it anyway.

Once you buy 3 and then they scan your rewards card the $3 automatically comes off of your total 🙂
Viva was all gone at my store in GA but got the deal on Cottonelle 🙂 My coupons were only for $.50 and $.55 off, but after everything still got each 12 pack for only $1.67. Awesome deal!!

kmart is hard to shop I agree…lots of rules..and the registers in Des Plaines are not always working properly…I bought a $25 gc..got the bonus $5 gc but no points..they told me I have to call the 800 number myself to get my points which I did right at the service desk on my own phone and got…hassle…that was yesterday…today I went to get tp and even though I had 9000 points the register kept saying I didn’t have points and couldn’t use them. I called 800 number again while walking out and she suggested if this happens again to have the cashier call during the transaction the 800 number to see the problem..I said really..you don’t think all the people behind me are going to mind with my pile of coupons and then on top of that a phone call to you guys…haha.. I usually spend a lot of time at customer service there…and today the manager said the policy changed with coupon doubling…before you had to spend a combination of $25.00 on grocery, cosmetics or medicine, beauty…it didn’t work today for me ..she said now you have to spend the whole $25.00 on one category so all beauty or all $25. on meds to double

$2.00 Viva coupon says “redeemable at Ralph’s” is it ok to use it at Kmart? Im assuming its accepted anywhere that accepts MQ, unless a coupon says “redeemable ONLY at ____” Am i right?
You would not believe what happened today at Kmart when i asked for a rain check i waited for 25 minutes for a raincheck. The manager has to put it in the system throuhg their scanner printer, than go the office to be able to send it to customer service over the computer than the customer service would have to print it from the register they ask for your name, number what elese?.
So than the manager goes to say that i can get the raincheck but i cannot get the catalina that comes wth it?. what do you guys think about this.
The cotonnelle catalina is through Dec 1st, so if you went back anytime before then, you’d still get it. Now for the instant $3 off at the register, I dont know how that would work. I’m wondering that myself.
I just called another store and they said the same thing. That I could get a rain check for the price $3.99, but I wouldn’t get the register reward or catalina.
Personally, I dont think they have control of whether or not you get the catalina (through dec 1st). Just make sure to ask before if their printer is working and that it has paper in it. You probably won’t get the $3 instant savings at the register after saturday, but you can still get the catalina. If not, then you can return it if it’s not a good enough deal for you without it.
I went today on my lunch break because I had 3 $1/peelies and just wanted to make sure my local store had stock. Thankfully they had TONS of Cottonelle. Got my 3 packs, paid $6.51 with tax and received my $3 CAT. Plan to go back a few more times so I can stock up for my family.

Okay I have a question, I hope someone can help. Does anyone know if you have to use your 3$ Catalina dollars on a cottonelle? I tried to use my on socks and the manger was very rude to me. She told me I had to use the bucks on more cottonelle. So i told her my Catalina paper doesnt say that. then she accused me of cutting off the rules. i told her I didnt and she said it again. then rolled her eyes at me and told the cashier just to do it. Has this happen to anyone else? I got the 3$ Catalina for the viva and the cottonelle and neither one had rule on them or anything. I gave it back to them just how I got it.
No, it does not need to be used on cottonelle. It can be used on “your next purchase” which could be anything.

I don’t like shopping at KMart as the one in my area is not coupon friendly at all but the Cottonelle deal was too good to pass up. I got 3 packages, went to the register, gave the cashier my coupons but she forgot to scan them, so she had to void the transaction and start over. After the the transation was complete, she handed me my receipt but no catalina. When I asked about it, she
didn’t know what I was talking about. I tried to explain but she didn’t understand so I just left. So frustrated! 🙁
