  2. katherine

so this is one per person per household, too. i got one. but my husband was unable to purchase one because of the same billing address. thanks sucks.

    • Kristen

I bought one for myself and my husband but I used separate credit cards and it worked. Try that and HTH 🙂

      • M.

I did that too – same billing address but separate credit card. Got one for my nephew who lives out of state. He’ll like this much better than a $4 Hallmark card!

  3. Brindha

    Got one! Yay!

  4. Melissa-Ann

Today the line was 20 deep at Starbucks. I’m thinking the secret is out 🙂

    • victoria

      hahah love it!

  5. Valerie

I just ordered one for myself and one for my husband. Two separate accounts, but the same billing address. I had to use 2 different credit card numbers though. That might be your issue, Katherine.

    • katherine

we used two different accounts and two different credit cards too. but when i called, he said it’s because we have the same billing address. of course we do, we’re married, LOL…. oh well 🙁

      • Valerie

Try using one of your work addresses then.

  6. Mary

Isn’t there a way for them to scan it on my phone or do I have to print it out? Printer is wacky

    • Mrs. Waller

You can access it through the Groupon App. =)

      • Mary

        Ah, thanks!

  7. jaynadinz4Jayna

Got one & gave it as a gift. I can’t get one for myself. Oh well – I can make my friend buy me a coffee! 🙂

  8. AnaBanana

Question — if we already bought one, then can we purchase another one as a gift? I don’t see anything in the fine print about it, though…

  9. Maria

Can I use this to buy a gift card?

  10. Lindsay

I just got the email from Groupon

  11. Tami

Thank You Collin for posting this! This is great. I think I will save it and treat my family to hot cocoa when we drive around looking at Christmas Lights 🙂

  12. Nina

    YAY, got mine

  13. Vishnu

For those who don’t want to print, you can transfer funds onto your Starbucks mobile card, if u login online. That is if u have a Starbucks mobile card and login of course. You can also use multiple groupons to transfer to same card. ( mine and husbands groupon onto my Starbucks card).

    • Lupe

How can I do this? Thanks!

      • KJ

Log into your Starbucks online account and transfer funds from your groupon to your Starbucks card, kind of like transferring money via online banking. HTH

        • Justina

I can’t figure out how to do this for the life of me haha. Anyone care to help?

          • Lynn

I finally figured out how to add the groupon Starbucks Egiftcard to my starbucks card. Sign in to your groupon acct., click on the starbucks voucher and get to the point/screen where you could print the groupon if you wanted (you don’t have to print it). It should show you what looks like a starbucks card with a 16 digit number and a security code (that will be the starbucks number (it’s numbers/no alphabet) and security code that you need to enter in your Starbucks account). The previous page would have showed you a Groupon 16 digit (# and alphabet combination) and security code; you have to get to the next screen as previously described to get the Starbucks number. Then you go to your starbucks account, click on “Transfer balance to another card”. You will key in (or copy and paste) the Starbucks # and code from the groupon print page to transfer the $10 egiftcard to your Starbucks card. The The Starbucks customer service guy did not explain it well enough to tell me to get to the page in which you would have the option of printing the egiftcard. All he needed to say, when I explained what screen I was on (all I see is a 16 alpha/number digit) was to advance to the next page where the Starbucks number only digit will show up. Hope this helps someone!

This is a great chance to donate to this cause (DAN’S COFFEE RUN). Here is the link for more info in donating starbucks card : https://www.danscoffeerun.net/run/

  15. Sarah

So will the money expire in May even if I transfer it to my Starbucks card? I’m confused.

    • H

From my understanding, I don’t think it will. They want you to “claim” your groupon at the Starbucks website by May. Gift cards don’t expire.

      • Sarah

        Thank you!!

  16. H

For those who are always begging people to use their referral link on Groupon that are only $5, please note that the person has to spend $10 on their first purchase for you to get your $10. So it does not work on Groupons that are only $5. Hope this helps.

    • J

True but if you have 3 ppl purchase through your link your groupon is free.

  17. C

Can anyone recommend a drink that doesn’t taste much like coffee? I may just be using this for hot cocco lol

    • sometimessewist

In addition to hot chocolate, there’s always tea (including yummy chai lattes), and there are a few non-espresso choices for frappuccinos. 🙂

    • Mel

Strawberry frappuccino has no coffee and tastes yummy

    • Sarah

My son and I get the frappuccinos cream based instead of coffee. Our recent fave is Salted Caramel Frappuccino cream based. Pumpkin Spice creme based is also a yummy one. The Strawberry is also a year round good one or double chocolate chip (it’s not too rich and has small chunks of chocolate in it). HTH

    • el

You can get a pastry or a deli sandwich with the gc not just coffee.

    • CW

I also do not drink coffee. We use the giftcards for pastries/breads at the Starbucks at EPCOT and the Main Street Bakery at Walt Disney World in Florida! They DO take these printed gift vouchers. We have done it twice at EPCOT and once at Main Street Bakery since Starbucks moved in. We enter the park and get a bottle of juice and a pastry. A free breakfast!

Not completely sure, so someone correct me if I’m wrong, but the fine print reads:
“A Starbucks Card eGift is a digital gift card that can be used toward any purchase at a local Starbucks coffeehouse”.
So thinking it could go towards the purchase of merchandise ~ Starbucks coffee cups/insulated mugs always make great gifts!

    • bree

exchange milk for soy milk or try a chai….

  18. Alma

Thank you, I got two cards. One for my husband and one for me.

  19. Leah Lindsay

im not able to find it even when i type in starbucks, i even tried to use other link referral, im wondering if i have to sign up to be a member first?

  20. Sheryl

Hi! I just did this and went through ebates first. This is my first groupon purchase, so thank you for the heads up. It’s nice to try out something when it doesn’t cost too much. Anyways, once I got it, I easily transferred it to an existing Starbucks card, which is nice, since I tend to lose papers. https://www.groupon.com//raf/UserReferral_rp/121015/10r1act/lk/uu61155982

  21. Marc Norton

If anyone is interested in starbucks GCs for 25% off let me know. I would rather sell them to real people than to these giftcard buying places.

  22. Jesse

I just got one for me, one for husband (sep. groupon accounts, same billing address, different cards). already loaded it to mine and his starbucks cards, yay!

  23. El

I hope my order actually went through. Do you get any kind of confirmation because I did not. Anybody know.

    • Betty

when you sign into your groupon account, click on something like “my groupons”
and it should show up within 10 minutes or so

  24. LisaR
