Do any places accept donations of vitamins?

  2. teri

    Usually not.

  3. amy

Actually as long as sealed and not expired places will take. I have donated to ronald mcdonald house, salvation army, rescue mission and peace before! I usually call first to ask.

  4. Pam

I know a lot of medical missions to foreign countries like to take vitamins. The people ask for them in Costa Rica, I know for sure, as some of my colleagues have been there multiple times. There are a lot of vitamin deficiencies in some of these countries.

Just a heads-up – I went to Walgreens to do this deal. Bought 2 of the Magnesium vitamins (2 for $10.99) – used 2 of the $5 coupons. The Balance Reward points didn’t print out. Had to get the manager to apply to my card.

    • Sherry

Meant to add – they weren’t included in the B1, G1 for $3 sale, but the tag was there saying you would get 3000 points for buying 2. You guys may want to stick with the deal as Collin has it laid out above!

Balance Rewards don’t print. They’re added to your card automatically. There’s a line on your receipt that shows that they were credited.

      • Sherry

Yes AF. I knew my balance was 1830 points before the transaction. AFter buying the items, my balance didn’t change. That’s how I knew I didn’t get the points.

I was able to score a book with coupons in it and so I grabbed my vitamins and headed to the checkout….cashier clueless and had to call manager. Manager kept saying this type of coupon “stack” wasn’t allowed. First of all know the lingo lady…this is not a “stack” then she said the only way to use the coupons would be in separate transactions…I’m like no actually you just need to adjust the price on the coupon. She said she had gotten an email from corp that morning reminding them of the coupon policies. I held my ground and FINALLY she was like oh I see what your saying….

Glad to know that couponers are actually more knowledgeable about policies than managers….

Just know that this deal may cause some time at the register…

I tried the 5.00 off the Vitamin D was on sale for 4.24 my Walgreens would not apply the overage even though I had other items so I asked them to ring it in for 4.24 the cashier had to get the manager who ok it I was told that Walgreens is changing it policy on overage . I would of done 2 so I could get the register reward but they only had 1 bottle left , they were going to put the 3.00 on a gift card but the register would not except the coupon .So had to buy just the one 🙂

You can’t get overage with Manufacturer coupons at Walgreens.

If a MF and its redeem or redeemable ONLY at X store, then I thought it can be used at most of the stores coupons use coupons at? I am wrong on this?

    • Sarah

It doesn’t say “Redeemable oy at Walgreens” but instead “5off any one nature made products at Walgreens”. For me it means the same. What do you think?

      • Sarah

        Only -*oy

      • Jeff Walker

        Its hard to say!

    • mel

If a coupon says “redeemable ONLY at X store”, then that is the only store it can be used at (unless you are in an area where your stores take it as a competitor coupon)

If a coupon says Redeemable at such-n-such store, it is just a suggestion to use at the store named on the coupon. However, many stores are starting to deny them, stating that the store has a contract with the manuf and other stores that are taking them, are not being reimbursed.

The Nature Made coupon, the way its worded, I believe they only want you to use it at Walgreens

      • Jeff Walker

I don’t know what to do

  9. sue

Flipped thru two books and no sign of the coupons. Someone must have beat me to them. Darn!

  10. barbie

20 books at my Walgreens – all with the coupons ripped out…………………

  11. vase

i had a lady who purchased 10 bottles of vitamins with photocopied coupons today!

    • Jeff Walker

Are you a cashier? If so how do you know they where copied? Did you take them?

  12. Molly

Lots of folks were using them at my Wags store. They downloaded the magazine from the web and printed them out. They said it was a pdf file and you could print as many as you needed. Then she went on to say that they took it off of the downloaded file of the magazine. Not too sure if that was legal or not. But it scanned….any thoughts on this?

    • Holly Dean

Yes there is a pdf of these coupons and there is no print limit. I called the company that makes the magazine, spoke with a guy named Johnathan Jara and he said they would prefer you use the magazine one, but the printed ones are ok too.

  13. Michele

Does anyone know where the link is to the PDF with the coupon in it? The only links I have found does not have the coupon.
