Careful of you recieved more then one of those gift cards from the star promotion a few weeks ago you can only use 1 per order/customer it doesn’t say anything about it but they will cask the order and make you call visit service and void the gift cards used and only send you one in yOur e mail 3-5 days from now. I found some cute scarves marked down to $9.99 with an extra 30% off today in store. I grabbed a couple of Christmas exchanges with extended family.
I would advise against the pan sets. It seems like a great deal, and I almost purchased them for $37 a few months back but after reading the reviews on various websites.. the final conclusion was a “no”. 8/10 people say everything sticks to the pans really badly, you can’t cook on anything with them except low-med heat and the handles/lids get very, very hot.

you are completely right! I received one of the larger pans as a wedding gift and food sticks to it so bad you have to let it soak in water for hours! Even when you are cooking on low/med. heat and stiring the food continuously food sticks. No amount of non-stick spray, oils, etc. helped the problem either.
Read the reviews for sure before jumping on what seems to be a good deal. These don’t have the best reviews and for just $30 more you could get a Martha Stewart hard anodized set. Buyer beware on deals like these!

Those are some junky cookware sets…a friend of mine bought them and promply threw them out..she hadnt saved her bill to return.

I’ve bought a CuisineArt stainless cooking set from Sam’s 3 years ago, have used daily for 3 years, still look new, very pleased with them. Paid way more than this Macy’s set but totally worth it.
The $10 off $25 coupon doesn’t work on 90% of the stuff in the store. I bought 2 clearance INC items that were not a door buster or deal of the day waited forever to pay and when I got to the register it wouldn’t accept the coupon. So be careful that coupon hardly works on anything ever since they changed the wording and add “doorbusters” and “deal of the day” you can’t combine that with a coupon. I have found that the coupon seems to work on the no name brand items.
I am going to get up early so I can go before work and see if I can find a couple of those coats on sale. If so, I’ll try the coupon and star app to see if I can apply them. Am really hoping I can score some coats @ that price for the 2 kids my son’s classroom is “adopting” for Christmas. Their mom said they need new coats; these would be perfect and you can’t beat the price!
I got $111.00 in cart but the shipping is not free! (usually ship free at $99). If I use SHIP and shipping becomes free, but then it voided my $25 off $100 Thanks for Sharing Star Reward. How annoying!
Okay solved it. The $25 discount dropped my total below $99 so shipping is not free unless I enter code SHIP. So I bought more stuff and raised the total, now shipping is finally free.

Frustrated with my experience in Macys store, 10 off 25 does not work on tools of the trade items.They did price adjustment on last sale price purchase.So saved 50 bucks there. I am shopping online for black friday.
The coupons stores put out exclude almost everything. Bonus buy, best buy, early sale, late sale, this, that and everything else. I left both Macys and JCP last week without even using coupons since so much was excluded. Good luck to those who find something nice to use them on.
I just got back from Macy’s. I bought my daughter & son those $15.99 jackets and found GUESS ankle boots for 39.99..I asked if I was able to use the $10 off $25 on the boots and it worked. I paid for 29.99 for the boots! Regular price is $79.00

Thanks Sara! I love doing this! I have debt like most others but we truly are blessed. We can pick a family from the families that request gifts through our county Social Services department. I always opt to deliver the gifts myself – there is no better gift than to deliver a heap of presents to someone (usually children in the mix we get) in need and see their faces light up. Isn’t this what Christmas is truly about? 🙂
