Not free for me, I saw the pens at my walmart for $1.47, didn’t see the white out.

Same here. Few months ago the pens were $.97. Saw Several things at my Walmart with higher prices as well.

I was just at Dollar Tree a few minutes ago. I did find the Correction Fluid and 8pk of Pens (the pens were on an end cap).

Most of these that are posted as free or nearly free are causing people to clear shelf’s at Walmart I was told yesterday at my Walmart that because of shelf clearers companies are going to change how coupons are used . I go to get 1 free or close to free thing and they are all gone the lady said that the Tresumme (sp) was gone in one hour because of the 2.00 off coupon made them .48 and Walmart would not order more I’m about to give up I mean really do people need to clear a shelf ?

I totally agree with you Rena!! I belong to some coupon groups that brag about shelf clearing & then brag about how much money they made selling it all at the flea market/garage sale!! I’ve just about given up on coupons & good deals!! I’ve seen stockpile pics with over 300 bottles of shampoo alone…come on now…do you really need that many btls of shampoo? & then they’re still out buying more!! SMH😞(sorry for the rant)

Someone said the other day “not saying I did this, but I have been told the $5/2 tresemme coupons that say exclude trial size CAN be used and scan fine on trial size at walmart..”
My mouth literally dropped. Are you kidding me? This is why my walmart won’t hardly accept ANY coupons!

    Thanks!

I hear you Rena and Michelle……I had my salary cut in 2010 due to the economy & it still has not been reinstated, I work long hours, I coupon & ebay to make ends meet. When I finally find the time to shop, the shelves are empty 🙁

  6. Roxy

At my Walmart in CA the prices went up to$1.47 🙁

  7. Heather Nicosia (@HeatherNicosia)

I have no idea what the prices are for the pens here.. Getting things free is always the best but getting things for super cheap such as $47 cents works for me too! 😉

  8. Emily

I agree! It’s really frustrating and inconsiderate. If you are emptying the shelves, please stop and think of the others coming behind you. Thank-you.

What really takes the cake is when you see these shelf clearers posting these items for sale on online yard sale pages. Your fighting them to get stuff for your family, while these greedy beasts are out to make money off of what they don’t end up paying for.

I got an email confirmation that Walmart (since they say the accept competitors coupons) will accept BJ’s coupons. Now many of the BJ’s coupons have a bigger package requirement, but not all of them.
I don’t believe in clearing the shelf. If you need that many of them (hopefully because you are donating to a good cause) call and order your quantity.
