The price of the movie has never actually been $36.99 on Amazon and it’s been priced at 16.99 for about 5-6 weeks. Not a movie deal at all! I liked hip2save when they used to sift through the clutter and post actual deals. Now I get the impression that this blog is about posting the word ‘deal’ in front of anything to get people to click through and make a commission. Disappointed.

I’m embarrassed, it was priced around 18.99 for 5-6 weeks and now it has dropped to 16.99. Excuse my comment.

      Hi Mary,

I am sorry to hear that you are dissapointed in the deals posted. 🙁 I actually try very hard to sift through all of the emails I get on a daily basis…. and I get a TON. I try to be sure that the deals I post are the best priced and have good reviews. I posted this deal since it just took another price drop and I know lots of people like this movie.

      Goodness…

Sword in the Stone is $16.99 as well.

I appreciate the post! I love that I can pop on here to find good prices instead of trolling the internet for hours looking for things. Sometimes the right price makes it a gift I hadn’t thought of.

If you don’t think it’s a good enough deal then scroll on by. I think Collin does an excellent job of highlighting the best deals. And any Disney movie under $20 is always one I want to know about. Thanks for your hard work Hip2Save!

      Hi Jamie!

Thanks so much for the heads up… I actually noticed that too and just did a post on the movie ticket offer – such a great deal! 😀

    • Sarah S

Is this really included in the Frozen deal? I don’t see it listed.

      • katie f.

It is not included in the frozen deal…

FYI: I bought this movie through Disney and was disappointed that I couldn’t download the digital copy right to my computer. You download the digital copy from (I believe) ultraviolet.com and the copy stays there. This is the same for the Sword in the Stone. Not all Disney movies are this way but thess two are

Collin, I can’t imagine how much work you put into this site — I have stopped following other sites that clearly just started to rely on commissions and just posted daily “five best Amazon books” and “five biggest changes in rating on Amazon” and crap like that constantly.
Yours is one I still completely rely on to find amazing deals — and you take the time to include disclosures of “check the prices of this against this other store”! Thanks for all you do!
