As I mentioned in the CVS Weekly Deals, there is a nice Extrabucks Rewards offer available on LED Light Sets! However, with the over 25 freebie offers that are available, it may have got lost in the shuffle… so I thought I’d remind you all about this offer. Plus, check out the email I received from reader, Lys, regarding the deal she was able to score:

At CVS, they have a deal where you buy LED lights and receive $3 ECB. I purchased the LED Lighted Snowflake for $2.99, and it produced the $3 ECB! Great deal!

Were you also able to score FREE LED Christmas lights (after rewards)? Let us know!

I got the snowflake earlier today and got the ecb. Make sure to test it in the store though! Mine didn’t work so I had to go exchange it (and pick up a few more freebies too!)

    • Alyssa

Mine didn’t work when I got home and I was disappointed, and then I dropped it on the floor by accident and it started working! Lol!

  2. debra

I picked up the 20ct lights @ $1.99 and they did not produce my ECB. I have the best CVS in the world! She manually generated my ECB’s so a $1.01 mm.

    • Nick

Your ECB didn’t print because the 20ct. light set is not LED like the ad states. Glad you have a nice store though 🙂

      • debra

Thank you for letting me know. Even the cashier went and looked. I have an awesome CVS store with multiple awesome cashiers.

      • marie

My store had 20 ct LED sets that generated the ebs this morning.

    • Artemis

debra, you don’t happen to live in Northridge, CA, right? 🙂 I wish my cvs was like that! Usually, it’s a pain and includes badgering/interrogation of where my coupons came from, etc.

  3. Alyssa

I got the snowflake and it worked! It’s cute, it lights up and changes colors, and there’s a suction cup on the back so you can stick it to your window 🙂

    • Dayna

Ooooh this sounds good for my cube at work. We are having a decorating war!

    • Erin

Yeah . . . the problem is getting the suction cup to stick to window! I tried wetting the back, sticking it to a mirror (rather than a cold window), but it just won’t stay up. The suction cup is very shallow, almost flat, and there’s just no suction. Bummer. It is kinda cute and I got one for each of my kids, neither of which works. I guess I’ll see if I can turn it into an ornament or something.

      • Heidi Parsons

I got one the same thing but there is a very thin film covering the back you have to take off.

  4. Bridget

    Thank you!

  5. Allie

What is the limit? My ad didn’t have these in it.

    • Alyssa

      It’s a limit of 1.

      • Allie

        Thanks!

        • Alyssa

          hth!

  6. Rebecca @Stapler Confessions

Thanks! I didn’t get this today, but I might go back. It sounds like something my little guy would love to have on the window this year.

  7. shannon

where did you get the $2.99 Lighted Snowflake?

  8. Emily

I looked for the star… was it in the aisle with the lights?

  9. mel

The cheapest LED light set was $9.99 at my store so I passed.

    • Jeff Walker

      Where are you located?

  10. emma

I have a question about ecb deal. I forgot using $1.50/1 coupon for children Advil ( I know I’m stupid), if I return the Advil, the ecb I’ve got is gonna be unable to use?(I’m thinking to buy it again with a coupon.) thanks!

    • Leslie

U will still be able to use ecb for Advil. I have done this before and they just gave me the cash for the coupon. I didn’t have to return it and rebuy it.

  11. R

Not sure if this got corrected overnight, but went early this morning around 7:15 EST, scanned four different sku #s of LED lights, including the snowflake, and all were scanning on the red coupon machine for their retail price.

    • mel

They’re not on sale. If you are lucky enough to find the $2.99 LED Snowflake, that is what’s free.

      • mel

*after the ECB, since you get $3 back.

  12. Kristen

The snowflake was in the same aisle as the regular lights at my store. It was pretty small so easy to overlook 🙂 There was no tag on it indicating it qualified for Extra Care Bucks, but a $3 ECB did print for me.

  13. Lindsay

Got the snowflake and $3 ecb 🙂

    • steph

      Ditto here!!

  14. Brandi

I got the snowflake in nc with the ecb, I couldn’t get it to work. I decided to look at the batteries, and one was corroded!! Ugh! I’ll try to exchange soon!

    • Erin

      Yeah–and three button batteries! Gah!

  15. Sedonia

    I scored my snowflake!!!
