If you plan on making large volumes of dough this is not the one for you. I have a friend that makes large cheesecakes and this one could not handle it. The 5 qt is perfect for everyday baking, mashed potatoes, and shredding chicken. If you want to make anything else go bigger.

My daughter (12 at the time) got the aqua one two years ago for Christmas. While it is cute in color it is not cute on my kitchen counter. It does not go with anything in my kitchen or house. Everyone asks why I have an aqua kitchen aid that does not match anything. Just my two cents.

Get the large one. I started with the small one but I love to bake and double batches easily handled in the large. Colors are cute but trendy and these bad boys last forever. One of my family members had one from when they had glass bowls it was so old and still kicking.

When I tried to use the code 20FORU, it indicated that this code was only for use with Kohl’s credit cards.
You can only get the 20% if you have a Kohl’s card. Otherwise, you can use the other offers for 15% off.

The rebate itself states requests have to be postmarked no later than Dec 30, 2013. Original or copy or reciept with purchase made at Kohl’s Nov 25-29th. If you open the window & zoom in, you are able to read the fine print.
Can someone tell me the address we have to mail the rebate to? When I pull up the link from this post, it only dhows a blank form (like no details on which model, address to send to, etc)
I had ordered the 4.5 qt but based on comments, I went ahead and ordered the 5 and will return the 4.5! Sounds like a great deal. The $75 in Kohls cash is unbelievable and the 20% off is wonderful. For the rebate, I am going to print off my emailed Kohls receipt because that has the date of purchase on it.

Vicki, the rebate says it has to be post marked by Dec. 30. The machine has to be bought by the 29th.
If I am reading it right, you have to PURCHASE it by the 29th and rebate envelope must be POSTMARKED by 12/30. I think Kohls would have to you in time 😉

No, I ordered the 5QT KitchenAid Mixer on 11/29 too and it hasn’t shipped for me either… It’s been “in fulfillment” since 11/30. From the comments on Kohl’s Facebook page, it looks like they’re backed up with a lot of Black Friday orders. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll get caught up and ship soon. Good luck!
I would have received mine (ordered 11/26) on Wed., but they messed up and sent a pillow instead of my mixer. Now the replacement is in “fulfillment”. Not thrilled with the situation buy what can you do?
Instead of a mixer, I got a pillow, too! My husband yelled on the phone for half an hour yesterday, before being transferred to the local store. We were able to trade in our pillow for the mixer. So screwed up!
