Any awesome deals on kitchen aid accessories?
I ordered one of the mixers that was posted yesterday. Kind of wishing I had waited for this one. Is the main difference the size of the bowl and the cool colors? Or is there something more that might convince me to buy this one and return the 1st one?
This one is the highest rated mixer, according to a site that I can’t remember at the moment (sorry–black Friday brain already). There are two main differences: larger bowl size (this is important when you’re mixing a batter or mashing potatoes for a crowd!) AND more powerful motor (325W for the artisan vs 275W for the classic). This is a significant enough difference to convince me to go for the 5 qt. artisan over the 4.5 at classic. HTH!
That wattage really makes a difference?? I bought on the last Kohl’s sale and got the classic for under a hundred bucks with all rebates and Kohl’s cash. But wondering if I should have waited now!
Wattage was a big factor in choosing ours many years ago. According to my dad & hubby, the larger motor (higher wattage) will have an easier time and be taxed less when you use it. That could translate into a longer life and less chance of overtaxing/damaging it.
A lot of people choose the larger one because the smaller one has plastic parts in the motor compartment, the larger ones are all metal, so they should have a longer life!
Is this rebate available if the mixer was purchased at another store or only through Kohls?

It looks like the rebate form doesn’t mention Kohls, so I would assume that you could use it anywhere.
I’m not sure which mixer, but I was told that on one of them, the beaters can be lifted from the bowl (straight up, not sideways) so that it’s easier to pour ingredients into the bowl. That’s my main complaint with the one we have now.

Okay – i have it added for $314 … -63 for the 20% off. So it comes to $275 after the tax and surcharge. When you take into consideration the $50 off rebate and the $75 in Kohls Cash, i would be paying $150. WHY is my total higher than Collin’s when she only used the 15% off? So confused!

– 25.00 Kohl’s GC for trying FreeShipping.com for 30 days (remember to CANCEL!!!) ~This is probably risky as usual, I read through, and it seems OK for 30 days but I would definitely be canceling before 30 days, but it might be good to use with the Kohl’s cash as they offer 10% off and free shipping at Kohl’s. I hope the GC comes before the 30 days is up lol. If anyone has an FYI or heads up lmk 🙂

I went on Shopathome and it’s only showing 3.5% cash back today. It was 10% on Tuesday. Is it just showing it wrong? Or did it drop today? I was going to go ahead and order this one (and return the other one I ordered) but now I wouldn’t get as much back on it. If Shopathome is really only 3.5%, I’ll try Ebates.
