The guy at my CVS will not let me stack those coupons. I told him one was a CVS coupon and the other a manufacturers but he doesn’t seem to care.

    • Samantha

Agreed. I already used this coupon but when I read the fine print I believe it said something about being a manufacturers coupon even though it says CVS coupon at the top.

    • Chant

Michelle, talk to a manager. Cvs coupon policy allows it.

    • Jessica

The store manager at my cvs said no as well, but I pointed out that they were cvs and Manu and he pushed it through. He also denied the $1.00 triaminic coupon bc it said Walmart on it. I’m hoping it’s not a trend or maybe he’s a new manager and he’s just leaning the ropes 😉

      • tia

My CVS doesnt take coupons with other store logos.

        • Miranda

Walgreen do the same too, they don’t take coupons with store logos.

  2. Kimberly

Now if only any of the 3 CVS stores in my area would actually stock these (they all sold out weeks ago when the $2.50/2 coupon came out and never put more out)

  3. jan

You are mistaken on this deal…It may say CVS on the $2.50 coupon but it is indeed a manufacturers coupon and they will not take both. I tried and it beeps and they refused to stack.

    • jan

But still a good deal with the $2.50 Q.

  4. Chant

Michelle, talk to a manager. Cvs coupon policy allows it.

  5. Kristie

I was told the same thing yesterday but then she pushed it through.

  6. Lia

The coupon that is found on CVS website is actually a coupon that is sponsored by Manufacturer. It’s in the fine print.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The coupon does not have a remit address on it or anywhere listed to send off to the manufacturer, so I believe it is actually a CVS store coupon.

      • heidi

I commented below about the Norther CA. store not stacking etc. Then read of another deal on your blog about stacking, so I went to cvs.com to print that coupon and noticed what you said about Collin is correct – it does not have a remit address on the coupon. So, I called CVS again to tell them about the differences in how the coupons print on their own site – how some say manufacturers coupon & some say cvs pharmacy and do not have the remit thingy on them. She checked with the authorities and she verified that the ones that say cvs pharmacy are indeed cvs pharmacy coupons and can be stacked. So, I have printed out this answer to that question they post online and I am taking it to the store with me. People I have said it before and I will say it again if you have a problem contact the home office. We have to tell them when the stores do not follow policy. I know it takes time, but it usually is worth it. I wrote an email the other day to protest a new policy in another store and they sent me a 20.00 gift card & I think because others wrote they changed the policy back.

  7. Kay

My CVS took both coupons with no problem. They didn’t even beep.

    • Heather Nicosia (@HeatherNicosia)

      Same here.

  8. Kimberly

I wasn’t able to use both coupons; the cashier said they had the same barcode, so the CVS one is actually a manufacturer’s coupon.

  9. sarah

For them to use both coupons you have to give the manufacturer’s coupon first and then cvs coupon and you will get no beeps. If you give the cvs coupon first it will not take the manufacturer coupon.

    • tia

I’ll have to try that next time around.

      • melissa

With the update to the registers recently, all cvs coupons are now in “pending verification” status. If the cashier does not hit total, your manuf cpn will beep or give a strange message. I already used both of mine when they were bogo and I’m pretty sure the $2.50 coupon starts with a “4” which is a cvs store coupon, so you are allowed to attack with a manuf coupon per the policy. I did not have any issues attacking both.

        • melissa

LoL autocorrect. That last line should be no issue stacking both.

          • Cheryl S

Hey, sometimes extreme couponing might involve “attacking!” hahahahah

  10. Mrs.M

I had issues last time around too. I had to explain one was a cvs and one was a manufacturer and she pushed it through but now I feel bad:(

  11. Angela H.

I just came across a $4 off $10 razors or blades coupon from cvs and that would go great with the buy a cartridge get a free razor coupon I got from the secret deodorant package 😀

    • Lory

Angela, I would LOVE to find that same coupon as I got that other one as well from Secret, could you PLEASE tell me where you got it from?? Thank you, Lory

  12. angie

I never have a problem with CVS using both coupons.

  13. Shayla

Anyone know what the limit is for the ECB? Just trying to decide if I should double dip this week and next week since I have access to more coupons thanks to in-laws.

    • melissa

Limit 1 is what’s posted. But won’t know for sure if there’s an increase until someone buys them Sunday and the receipt doesn’t say offer limit reached.

      • Shayla

k, thanks Melissa. I was thinking it would probably be this way. According to my parents CVS over break, the CVS coupons shows as a CVS manufacturer coupon and that’s why we are getting the dreaded beep. I will try the reverse order though and see if it works.

  14. sara

The $2.50/2 cvs coupon can we print this 2 times ??

    • amiko

yes, printed it twice and used it today with the stand-up bag hersheys cookies and cream, gave the manufacture coupon first then the cvs q, I believe it is a CVS Q because there’s a CVS logo ( shadow on the coupon). I used 1x $2.50/1 cvs q and 1x 1.10/2 hersheys chocolate 7oz or larger which is NLA ( printed from coupons.com)

  15. New4coupon

i talked to the CVS store manager, she said CVS is changing their coupon policy in CA. CVS coupon (logo) which is print from the internet even “4” or “0” or “5” both are mfr coupons. She said CVS is LOSING $$$!!!
they’re starting only to accept the coupon machine’s coupon (no limit) and mfr coupon.
they do not accept anymore than 1 mfr on same brand of product at the same purchase.
they do not accept any mfr have or any other store logo or name’s on mfr.
    this SUCKS!!!
but when i went to different store, the cashier didn’t know that new policy, i bought 2 kisses candies at the same purchase, i used $2.5 cvs + $1.10 mfr. he scan $2.5 off cvs coupon first then scan $1.10 mfr (beep) but he just click the screen help me take off $1.10…… so i am still disappoint shopping at cvs 🙁

    • tia

It wouldn’t behoove them to make such a change to their policy when Walgreens, Target, Publix and maybe other stores take both manuf and store coupons. I did have a problem with both coupons too. I will try giving the manuf coupon first.

    • heidi

I had the same stacking problems and the mgr. was so rude. I was so confused when they just started handing back coupons saying they would not stack. I did not buy a lot of things, because I had to stop and think if they were still a good deal without the stacking. I also live in CA. I called cvs yesterday to inquire and she told me any coupon printed off the cvs site in actually a manufacturer coupon and I told her if they are they should say manufacturer coupon, so we can then use them where ever we want. She agreed. I am extremely disappointed. The cvs in CA. said they will not and cannot push through any coupons anymore.

      • Miranda

Does anyone has problem using the Walgreen huggies ($3) coupon at Walgreen? MN Walgreens don’t take them all because the barcode doesn’t scan. Does anyone has problem with this coupon barcode too or am I the only one here. One last thing, Walgreen don’t allow me to use 2 manufacture coupons for 2 same items on the same transaction plus they don’t take coupon that’s over the value of the item even when it’s the same item described on the coupon.

  16. Miranda

Anyone has problem with using Kmart store coupons?
You know how there is these coupons where it printed out beside those that are attached to the end of your receipt; the Kmart in MN don’t allow stacking on them.

  17. laura

i watched the video but i don’t see the coupon. Any idea why?

  18. susan

I watched the video earlier and shared and the coupon didn’t show up.

  19. Nicole McDermott

I watched the video and shared via twitter, got prompted saying it would be sent via email….have not received it in the last 24 hours? now what? :/

  20. Mona

Is the coupon no longer available?
