Through December 21st, all you Hip2Savers who are 21 and older can head over here (note that Texas residents are excluded!) to sign up for the Stella Artois Gift Promotion. If you are one of the first 25,000 to register, you will then receive an email stating that you will receive a Gift – note that I received a message after entering that I was being placed on the Wait List and then almost immediately, I received an email about claiming my gift.
Once you receive the email, you can opt to either “Give the Gift” or “Keep the Gift.” The first 25,000 gift recipients will receive their FREE Stella Artois Chalice (or possibly an even larger gift; see official rules for details) in the mail within 6-8 weeks after the conclusion of the promotion.

So they can verify you and any of your friends that you share it with are over 21 and to verify you don’t live in Texas.

Totally agree. Makes me uneasy when you have to login through Fb and they collect all of your personal information. Not worth it.
I LOVE this promotion. I’ve received a Stella glass the past few years – I have two for myself, and last year I got one for my dad. I’m trying to get a second one. The glasses are lovely, and I’ve never received anything else from Stella (they’ve had my address for at least three years), and they’ve not taken over my newsfeed or anything.

They give one minute for you to decide give or gift. Then that prizes will be revealed Dec. 21st.

It took about a half hour for me.

all I got was a “you’re on the list” email.
i got 2 of these last year. they were nice glasses. i gave them to my dad for a christmas gift since i didnt have any money really for anyone. they arnt just cups,like i said glasses. the one that is pictured is what i recieved
It’s hard to red the rules, but if you gift it, and the person you gifted it to gifts it, etc etc, the 3 longest chains can get prizes (top one a gold level prize, etc). It would be kinda cool to do that, but I’m not sure how we could do it. You gift it through facebook from what I read.
On a wait list
I got an email also stating I was “on the list” but then I just got a second email saying my gift from Stella Artois awaits and I was able to click and choose to keep the gift or send it to someone else. It says I should receive my gift by December 21st
I was waitlisted as well, but while on facebook, I received a pop-up notice saying that I have been chosen and was able to click from there to choose to give or receive. So maybe you have to be on facebook to choose?
Gifts are revealed on December 21st but I don’t think we get them that day.

STELLA ARTOIS® GIFT PROMOTION- OFFICIAL RULES
1. No Purchase Necessary. The “Stella Artois Gift Promotion” (“Promotion”) is open to residents of the United States (except TX) who are 21 years of age or older. Void where prohibited.
2. Promotion Timing: The Promotion begins at 3:00:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (“CST”) on December 3, 2013 and ends at 2:59:59 p.m. CST on December 21, 2013 (“Promotion Period”).
3. How to Register: During the Promotion Period, visit http://www.stellaartois.com/thegift (the “Website”) and follow the on-line instructions to register for the Promotion. You must be a registered user of Facebook in order to participate in the Promotion. Facebook registration is free and can be obtained by logging on to http://www.facebook.com and following the online instructions to open an account. Limit one (1) registration per person.
4. How to Participate: If you are one (1) of the first twenty-five thousand (25,000) Participants to register for the Promotion, you will receive an email message stating that you will receive a Gift (“Gift”). Once you receive your Gift, you will have the opportunity to either “Give the Gift” or “Keep the Gift” (each an “Action”) as outlined below. If you are not one (1) of the first twenty-five thousand (25,000) Participants to register for the Promotion, you will receive an email message stating that all of the Gifts have been accounted for and you will be included on a Waiting List.
“Give the Gift”: If you choose to give your Gift, you must open the Gift within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the Gift. Once you open the Gift, you have sixty (60) seconds to decide if you will “Keep the Gift”. If you fail to comply with any of these time periods, the Gift will be returned to Sponsor and will be given to a Participant on the Waiting List (if applicable), and that Participant will receive the opportunity to “Give the Gift” or “Keep the Gift” as described in this Rule. At the end of the Promotion Period, those Participants who decided to “Keep the Gift” will be notified of their Gift via email and will be required to click on a link within the email. The link will take them to an online form in which Participant must input their first and last name, street address, zip code and email address. The online form must be completed by 2:59:59 p.m. CST on December 27, 2013 in order for the Participant to receive the Gift. Failure to adhere to this time period will result in disqualification and the prize will not be awarded.
Chain: A chain (“Chain”) begins each time a Participant chooses to “Give the Gift”. If the first Participant to receive the Gift from Sponsor chooses to “Give the Gift” to his/her Friend, the Chain now consists of two (2) people. If the second Participant offered the Gift decides to give the gift to his/her Friend, then the Chain is now three (3) persons long; and so on. At the end of the Promotion Period, all Participants within the three (3) longest Chains may be eligible to receive a Gift just for giving. Those Participants will be notified via email and will be required to click on a link within the email. The link will take them to an online form in which Participant must input their first and last name, street address, zip code and email address. The online form must be completed by 2:59:59 p.m. CST on December 27, 2013 in order for the Participant to be eligible to receive the gift or to be eligible for the random drawing associated with the Chain (if applicable). See Rule #5 for Random Drawing details.
5. Random Drawings: All drawing (if applicable) will be held on or about January 3, 2014 by an independent judging agency, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this Promotion.
Longest Chain: If the longest Chain consists of more than 750 Participants who have completed the online form as described in Rule #4, then a random drawing will be held from among all eligible Participants within the longest Chain to determine which of these Participants will receive a Gold Level Gift. The remaining Participants in the longest Chain (up to 2,000), will receive a Silver Level Gift. If the longest Chain consists of more than 2,750 Participants, the remaining Participants (up to 2,000) will receive a Bronze Level Gift. If there are less than 750 Participants in the longest Chain, then all of the Participants in the longest Chain will receive a Gold Level Gift and a random drawing will not be conducted for the longest Chain.
Second Longest Chain: If the second longest Chain consists of more than the remaining number of Silver Level Gifts available (see above), then all Participants in the second longest Chain who have completed the online form as described in Rule #4 will be included in a random drawing to determine which of these Participants will receive a Silver Level Gift. The remaining Participants in the second longest Chain (up to the number of remaining Bronze Level Gifts), will then receive a Bronze Level Gift. A random drawing will only be conducted if there are not enough Silver Level (and/or Bronze Level) Gifts to be awarded to individuals within the second longest Chain.
Third Longest Chain: All individuals within the third longest Chain (up to the maximum quantity of Bronze Level Gifts available after the prior two (2) random drawings, if necessary) will receive a Bronze Level Gift. If the third longest Chain consists of more than the remaining number of Bronze Level Gifts available, then all Participants in the third longest Chain who have completed the online form as described in Rule #4 will be included in a random drawing to randomly select which Participants will receive a Bronze Level Gift. The remaining Participants in the third longest Chain will not receive a Gift once all Bronze Level Gifts have been accounted for.

9. Prize Details: Gold Level Gift (up to 750): One (1) Stella Artois Chalice Swarovski Edition. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $500.00. Silver Level Gift (up to 2,000): One (1) Engraved Chalice. ARV: $2.99. Bronze Level Gift (up to 2,000): One (1) Stella Artois Chalice. ARV: $1.50. Gifts awarded to the first 25,000 people requesting to “Keep the Gift” (up to 25,000): One (1) Stella Artois Chalice. ARV: $1.50. Odds of receiving a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Level Gift depend upon the number of eligible Participants per drawing/Chain. Unclaimed Gifts will not be awarded. Gift recipients will receive their Gift in the mail within 6-8 weeks after the conclusion of the Promotion. Any Gift notification or Gift returned to the Sponsor or its agencies as undeliverable will result in disqualification. Winner must accept prize as specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited. Winner may not substitute or transfer Gift, but Sponsor reserves the right to substitute Gift with Gift of equal or greater value. Total ARV of all prizes: up to $421,480. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Limit one (1) Gift per person.

Okay I’ve tried IE Firefox and chrome and my iPhone and it still won’t connect to my Facebook farthest I get is to enter my city and it’s just stuck.

The contest ends Dec 21st and that is when they send you another email with a link to a form to enter your mailing info. Read in the rules above under “keep the gift”. HTH! 😉

So, if I chose to give the gift to someone else, does anyone know how they will get it? Stella Artois did not ask me for my hubby’s contact info, etc.
check your FB account notifications that was where mine was at. I decided to keep the gift. I got one last year and gifted it to a friend. These are really really nice chalices. This year I want one for myself…hope that doesn’t sound stingy. I read that they will notify you by Dec 21, then you have 24 hours to respond. Not sure if they will post it on FB or send it via FB email.
From what I gathered from the rules is that they will email everyone that qualified once the promotion is over with on Dec 21st and then you will click on a link in the email to send them your mailing address by Dec 27th.

Why do I have to be a fb user to try to get.? Like you wouldnt be able to make a fake fb page to verify you age!. Now granted im over 21 just a lot of these freebies always want you to go thru fb instead. Id rather go to their website. Ijs.
