I am a little confused about the My Little Pony deal. Can we use both the bogof and the 40% off at the same time? The dates don’t match up.
These are double dip deals. That means that if your store activates the next week’s sales early (so today), then you can get both the current week’s deals AND next week’s deals at the same time. So, in short, yes – if your store activates the sales early.
Some stores might already ringing up the sale prices if they do then you can double dip .. So the questions is it worth the trip out to see or not

Has anyone ever done the double dip in Michigan?
I’m in SW Michigan and do it all the time… even the manager at the Walgreens store that I frequent is amazed at the deals sometimes and says she’ll have to buy some before she leaves for the night…
I just did this deal outside of Houston. With the two $5 Q’s I paid .53 cents. The savings shows $34.49. I made sure to purchase the Princess Twilight Sparkle.
The coupons are not a match. Check the SKU number on the coupon with your product. They are different.
Don’t know anything about the SKU. Q said Princess Sparkle and so did the box. It didn’t beep or anything.
the coupon printed with a sku # of the Princess Sparkle it was valid on, which is the bigger pony that costs like $50. It does not match the sku# of the one Walgreens sells.
I just did the deal with 2 coupons and paid 1.13 tax for both! Had a bit of a time…made 2 trips and had to take the coupon policy back to get a refund for the difference of what I originally paid. The manager was really nice, just uneducated about the coupon policy, as she said parts of it seemed to be contradictory. The BOGO section and the Sale Items section, where it talks about not being able to use a coupon that exceeds item amount. It was a bit frustrating but I got two cute gifts for almost nothing.
the coupon DOES NOT match what you bought. The $5 off is for a product that costs $50 (go to target.com and search twilight princess pony to see the difference)
I actually questioned that and showed both to the manager on duty. She examined them thoroughly with her eyes and allowed me to use them only on the Twilight Sparkle. I was unsure and was told that it was ok. I even had to question her about the coupon policy and the manager put them through. I looked for a sku and didn’t find one on the shelf. Not trying to do anything wrong.

Unfortunately, since Walgreens does not carry the higher end product, they won’t be reimbursed. All those $5 coupons add up b/c people are using them with the excuse “no beeps”, but totally missing the SKU is listed on the coupon.
Looks like the only thing to do is return the merchandise. Thanks for the info. I’ll be extra careful next time.
I have a similar problem… I was in a rush and didn’t take the time to confirm the coupon was good on the item. I even asked the cashier to double check the coupon for me. I came home and saw this post so I called and spoke to a manager that assured me that if the coupon didn’t beep it was fine. I guess I could have been more forceful with them, but it just didn’t seem like she understood. I don’t want to just return the items because I will still get the value of the coupon back and Walgreens will still incorrectly submit for reimbursement…. Not sure what to do next?…
At this point, I’d just not worry about bringing it back. they’ve probably already dumped the coupons in their bag. And I don’t know if the manager will want to dig through it?? Just chalk it up to lesson learned. I’ve been couponing for many years and I’ve had an oopsie myself. From that point on, I made it a habit to read all the fine print.
The Littlest Pet Shop set is also 40% off. Use the $1.00 printable coupons, and they came out to roughly $3.00 each (regularly about $11.00 I think).

It just depends on your store. Both my 24 hr Wags and non- 24 hr Wags activate around 11am.

according to other blogs, the $5 pony coupon is not valid on the pony at Walgreens. Search the sku number on ToysRus.com and you will see it is for $50 pony, not the $17 pony at walgreens. Not proper coupon usage.

I’m very disappointed! Was looking forward to the b1g1 titans super hero deal but all the walgreens near me (50 miles radius) do not carry them. My question is, why put it in their ad when no one carries them.

Have never tried the Saturday “double dip” deals at Wag’s. I never shop Saturdays. But was out today around 1:00 p.m. & really wanted the Blue Diamond almond deal. So stopped by my local Wag’s, figuring it was way to early for them to be posting next week’s ads. But they were!!!! Yay!! Got 6 cans for $9.00.

You misused the coupons. They were not a match based on the SKU #s listed on the coupon.

I went to Walgreens to do the play dough fun factory deal of B1G1F and the almonds B1G1F. The playdough deal they would only allow one manf. cpn because one of the play dough’s was free. The almond deal they said I could not get for the 2/$6.00 and then the buy one get one free I could only do one or the other. The 2/$6.00 sign said the price was good until December 28th but they rang up at $3.79 for the B1G1F offer.
I haven’t been going to Walgreen’s for awhile now and I am wondering if this is right. Is the double dipping a thing that Walgreen’s is aware and lets us do it or what? Any help would be appreciated.
