Yesterday the 18 roll double pack was on clearance at target for $9 plus cartwheel 20 percent off. Made it 20 cents per regular roll
I bought these too! The 20% off cartwheel is still available
Living in a small one bed that is under 600 sq feet — I’ll pass on that deal. Ha. I can’t even imagine where I would put that.
And, I tried the Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong, and I didn’t think it was soft. But hey maybe I was just being picky.
Does anyone know how these prices compare with costco/sams club prices?
I found elsewhere on Amazon that these packages have 126.6 sq ft each, so x 8 = 1,012.8 sq ft in total. At $21.74, that works out to a little over $0.02/sq ft. At Costco, for the Kirkland brand I pay about $0.009/sq ft. I won’t pay more than $0.01/sq ft so, in my opinion, this is not a good deal at all.
Wow. Down to the square footage?! I like to coupon but how do you determine what is a good price? And I am being serious/curious.
I always calculate by the square foot rather than the roll 🙂 Roll sizes vary so much that I find it the only accurate way. Just divide the price by the square feet to find the price per square foot.
I’ve heard that $0.01/sq ft is a good price. But I get Kirkland brand toilet paper at Costco – 1593.7 sq ft for $14.99, so that’s $0.0094/sq ft (even better than $0.01). So whenever I want to buy toilet paper somewhere else I always calculate the price per square foot and see if it beats Costco’s. It rarely does, but occasionally I’ve found a great deal!
Thanks for the feedback/tip! I go by what Collin says but like to see when others post comments!
I like the per foot price verses the price per roll also…it makes more sense to me.
I bought this the last time it was offered, and they were just delivered a few days ago. I did the math and it was a better deal then what I am paying for at Sam’s. I think this is a few extra rolls. if you go to sams.com they will have the price etc for the TP.
Check out this Sams Price List: https://www.thedollarholleringhomemaker.com/p/sams-club-price-list.html for Sam’s prices. Quilted Northern is $20/ 36 rolls
Thanks for the deal! 🙂 I love having a stockpile of toilet paper and paper towels.
Forgive the question. I don’t shop at Target that much, and I keep hearing about cartwheel offers. What is this all about? Do I need to sign up for this? Thanks
Here ya go- https://cartwheel.target.com/
