If you’re a fan of the FREE Ibotta app (one of my favorite money-earning apps available for both iPhones and Androids!), did you notice that the awesome milk offer is back?! 🙂

Ibotta once again released this popular offer – get 50¢ cash back on a Gallon of Milk Purchase – Any Brand (excludes all flavored & Non-Dairy varieties). Just be sure to click on the Facebook logo (as pictured above) and share this offer first! Please note that this offer ends on January 2nd, 2014. Plus, if you redeem your milk AND another item in ANY category, you’ll earn an additional $1 cash back bonus – valid through December 25th only!

Also, you can earn up to $0.50 cash back when you purchase Tabasco pepper sauce (5 oz – any variety)! This should make for a nice deal since there are also a few manufacturer’s coupons available! Check them out…

I love ibotta! I wish the milk rebate was on a smaller size carton. A gallon is a bit too big for one person to use before it expires.

If anyone still needs to sign up for a new ibotta account, please feel free to use my referral link below to receive $10 worth of welcome bonuses. Many, many, many thanks to anyone who does!! 🙂

One time I bought half gallon of prairie farms and it worked.

      • sarah

Didn’t mean to, forgot scanned it and it worked, didn’t say gallon on receipt.

I don’t know if everyone knows but you don’t have to buy the milk after the offer becomes available. This offer is good on any gallon you have a receipt for and the barcode for as far back as the 16th… So I bought a gallon 3 days ago, I still have my receipt and I am able to receive credit for it!

If we did the last gallon of milk offer can we do this one

    • Kathryn M

If it shows up on your app you can do it again! Some offers I’ve redeemed 2 or 3 times. I love when they keep offering the things I want to buy anyway!

  4. Janet

I only redeemed they milk offer and received credit for the milk and the bonus!! 🙂

I bought a pediasure for my daughter but I can not scan a bar code on bottle.I try almost 30 min for that ,is anyway else I can redeem …..? Please help

You actually need to take a picture of the receipt. I’ve never scanned a barcode on anything I’ve submitted to ibotta. hth

      • Amanda

You have to scan the barcode after taking a picture of your receipt to prove you purchased the correct product. It will not let me submit without scanning it

      • Amy

I’ve always had to do both– scan the barcode and take a picture of the receipt. You have to scan the actual product so they know you bought it.

I think that it depends on the store. Most of my stores you have to scan both the receipt and the bar code on the item. I would go to the store, scan your receipt, scan a bottle at the store that the app can read and then submit. You did buy it, so you are not scamming them. HTH

That’s strange. I have almost $20 earnings without scanning a barcode. I’m using an ipad2, so I think that’s the difference.

I tried using Whole Milk I bought from CVS, its saying “no offer found”

    • Charity

There are directions on ibotta for how to request that the barcode be added to their system. I think you have to send them a picture of the product and the barcode.

As a family who goes through 4 gallons a week, I’m loving this offer!

This app sucks a lot of data from Android phones!! I had to remove it because I went over my limit per month and I have a large limit. Beware!
