can you just get the bag for free or do you have to fill it?
You can get the bag free only. You just need to have the coupon also for them to scan. Usually you can bring it up on your phone and theyll type in the code under the barcode.
Can we get these offers online??
i can not see the free bag coupon ,i can see just 20% off everything you can fit in the bag (some exclusions do apply) free bag coupon is gone?
Free bag is on the same coupon for 20% off. There are two different UPCs.
Does staples take manufacture coupons?
I was just going to ask that! I have some $2 off Scott any…would be great if we can stack!
Darn. It says “Cannot be combined with any other coupons.”
Yes, Staples accepts manufacturer coupons (and yes, that includes internet coupons). When they say “Cannot be combined with any other coupons” they may be referring to other Staples coupons, but I am not sure about that. If you are going to Staples anyway, I would certainly ask if you can use them with the 20% off coupon. I don’t see why not because Staples would get the value of the coupon back from the manufacturer.
I went tonight to get ink and wanted to do this deal. My ink was no excluded, but the cashier said that I had to fill the bag to get the 20% off. I nicely said, that I don’t see where it says that, but he persisted, I was tired and paid full price. UGH!!
I would absolutely go back and talk to a supervisor or call customer service. I have never had to “fill” the bag to get the discount and neither did anyone that was in line with me. I believe the coupon was meant to exclude items that were larger than the bag. I did have to buy something to get the bag
You DO NOT have to fill the bag up to get the 20% off. Print the page for the 20% off and it has the 2 barcodes on it – one for the free bag and one for the 20% off. Read the exclusions on the coupon as there are many things that you can not get the 20% off of. But it does state that “all chairs, furniture and clearance items are INCLUDED in this promotion”. Chairs and furniture obviously will not fit in the bag but you will still get 20% off of them if you choose to buy them.
Meghan E. – You DO NOT have to “fill” the bag to get the 20% off and the ONLY ink that is excluded from the deal is Epson ink and toner.
For the FREE Staples Multipurpose Paper the coupon states “limit two per customer.” It also states “each item purchased can only be discounted by one coupon” so to be on the safe side I’m going to print two coupons just in case I need them. At my Staples, the paper is $7.49 – $3.99 (coupon value) = $3.50 x .07% (NJ tax) = .25. I pay $3.75 (a ream) and get back $3.50 (a ream). I always submit my info online using Stapleseasyrebates.com No postage to pay. Two reams of paper for $.50 – you can’t beat that.
The 20% off coupon doesn’t work on the paper towels nor toilet tissue.
