Just be aware that they may be back ordered. I ordered my Kindle fire hdx 8.9 on Jan. 5, and it won’t be delivered til the 29-30th even with free 2 day shipping. So if you are in a rush, be warned.
Susie, I ordered mine on Jan. 3, 2014 and was supposed to arrive Jan 21st (today) or Jan 22nd (tomorrow) and that was with 1 day free shipping too. I looked at my order this morning and it has not shipped so I thought about cancelling the order to reorder and apply the promotion.
INSTEAD, I called Amazon and they applied the promo code and refunded me $30. This was there confirmation email:
“I’ve reviewed your order and see that your items haven’t shipped yet. So I reduced the price of the item to the currently-listed price of $xxx.00. This is what you’ll be charged for the item when your order ships.”
I thought I had been charged back on Jan 3rd. I looked at my credit card statement and I had not been. I guess when they ship it they will charge, as it said in the confirmation email. Yay, hope to get it tomorrow!

My kids absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Kindle Fire HDX! I could only afford one at Christmas (Santa delivered it to the household) and everyone fights over it. I purchased the 2yr warranty good for up to 3 replacements at $50 but its regularly $54.99. Worth every penny with small kids.
I love my kindle fire hdx 7″. Got it for Christmas. And ordered the case that she posted about yesterday. I’m wanting to get another one for my knitting patterns but thinking the kindle e ink reader would be better (since its only $69)
