I just use my regular small mesh strainer, or I’ve even used coffee filters. Much cheaper!

      Less space required for storage!!!

Yes, a paper coffee filter is what I use. I put the filter in the mesh strainer over a bowl, and let it sit in the fridge overnight or for 24 hours. I don’t call it yogurt cheese, I stop at about the greek yogurt thickness and use the whey in my bread recipe.

Very fine cheese cloth will work just as well. πŸ™‚

Laura, could it be you’re looking at this post on your phone and somehow something got cut off? I have no problem seeing it in its entirety.

There is a dessert in India called Shrikhand. The way you make it is: Take the Strained Yogurt that you make with this product, add enough sugar to make it sweet to your taste and add some powdered cardamom powder. Let it sit for an hour and enjoy with whole wheat tortillas.
