Calling all you Shop Your Way Rewards Members (it’s FREE to sign-up!). Be sure to check your Inbox for a possible email containing free bonus points valued at $3-$6 (maybe even more?!), valid 1/23-1/29! The email is titled “(Name), you have surprise points. See how many inside!” and will be from the email address “rewards@rewards.shopyourwayrewards.com“. Also, you may have received an email for FREE points whenever you spend a certain amount in a particular department, so be sure to read the emails you do get!

Just received an e-mail from Sears with Shop Your Way Rewards that I had surprise points. I opened the e-mail and it had 6,000 points or a $6 reward. Awesome! Just thought I’d share. Maybe others did too?
I know you generally post when people receive FREE Shop Your Way Rewards Points, so just a heads up, I received 5000 ($5) in points in my email this morning!

I’ve had this offer most of the month, but apparently when it expired last night, they just decided to renew the same offer. Boo! Too bad I won’t be buying anything in sporting goods.
I received two offers in less than a week. I received an automatic 5,000 points that expire on the 27th and another for 3,000 surprise points at check out that expires in the 29th. I’m trying to figure out what to purchase.
I got 10000 surprise points from sears. I’m new to the program, do I have to spend at sears, or can I use at kmart?

the last time i got surprise points from kmart i couldn’t use it at sears. the cashier at sears told me that with surprise points it has to be used at the store that gave it to you.

is depend what they say in the email, sometimes they said you must do it at kmart or sometimes sears, or u must do it online, or do it at the stores. They are kind of tricky though, so read it carefully or call the customer service for shop ur way reward.

actually i was told by sears that if you get surprise points from a specific store it has to be used at that store.

I got $7 today , $5 last week, got Pj’s for my boy, paid only 0.39 cents with store pickup. Woohoo Im excited. Never got these emails before. Always got , get $ off when you spend $$.

I got $3! I got $15 back in points after I made a $15 purchase last week. I used it (after having some trouble because it wouldn’t apply to my cart so I had to call and get them) and then they had sent me another email with a bonus $15 in points for the code not working! So I got $33 in points within the last 2 weeks, and only had to spend $15 to get them all! Love it!

i have to spend a certain amount to get mine but my hubby got 5000 points and doesn’t have to spend a minimum amount so I will be using his. lol. He always gets better rewards points than me.

I enjoy shopping online and returning in store, but recently have had so much trouble with both sears and shop your way rewards! It took me over 45 minutes last night to return two items in store. I had redeemed and earned and returned so many different times that my shop your way was negative by $8. My return would have credited $13 back in points, but the transaction was telling the cashier I owed $8! We went around in circles with sears.com, sywr customer service, etc. We were all completely frustrated in the end. Anyone else have similar issues?
Yes I won’t shop online with them anymore 🙁 they didn’t apply my points and I ended up being charged full price on an order plus charged shipping, it was a mess.
I had a stupid person at package pickup who had trouble finding my item. Eventually he came out with the bag in one hand and my blue vanity fair undies in the other hand and asked,”Is this your item?” There were others standing around and we all couldn’t believe he did that. I just said Thanku and took them out his hand and walked out. I called the manager the next day and he apologized but also said they were required to open the bags. What??!!??
I love the Shop Your Way Rewards option for store pickup (to save on shipping) and being able to pay in store (so I can use coupons!), but it amazes me how hardly anyone at my local KMart knows how to process these transactions (including the folk at Customer Service, believe it or not.) I use the same store each time, and they have yet to figure it out. *rolls her eyes*
Yes, I had a nightmare of an experience with SYW and Kmart over 91,000 points that I clearly earned and were never credited. I went back and forth with them over three weeks time, and was basically treated like I didn’t know what I was talking about even though I had proof. I ended up driving 40 minutes to return the item to Kmart, and will never, ever shop there again. Disgusting bait and switch tactics. I have never had a good experience at Kmart, but this just put me over the edge.
Got $5 if I spend $35+.. Stink! I used to just get the surprise points without having to spend a certain amount. I haven’t gotten free surprise points in a while now =(
Mine was $4.00 if I spend $10 or more on clothing or footwear. I don’t mind having to spend $10 to get the $4.00 in rewards, but wish they didn’t restrict what departments we have to spend that $10 in (to get the reward.)
I got $10 for any automotive purchase and I really need new wipers. I had trashed the email but thanks to hip2save I went back and checked 🙂
Got $4, they have sent me $4 every week for the last 4 weeks. I keep getting cases of water since my boys use it for lunch/sports. Thanks Kmart!
awww, i haven’t gotten any shopyourway freebies for a really long time. the only ones I seem to be getting are with high value purchase like get $50 in bonus points if I spend $500, and there’s nothing I need for that much at this time. Before that, my surprise bonus points is for $25 BUT with $250 purchase 🙁
I’m done with Kmart. I had such a horrible experience last week. I got ordered an item, got a “ready for pickup” email, but when I went to the store to get it, they didn’t have it, and it took them 30 minutes to figure that out. In the meantime, I had picked out a few items to purchase with the 11,000 Shop Your Way rewards points that I had, but when I got to the cash register, the points showed up, but wouldn’t deduct from my total. Wasted another 10 minutes, and they did NOTHING, so I paid for my stuff and won’t be going back there. It’s frustrating that you order something, get a confirmation of pickup and then waste your time for NOTHING.
I used to get these FREE points many months ago but, they haven’t given anything to me lately.
In fact, the only coupon I get from their (Kmart) registers is get $7 back in points when you spend $35. I miss the $5 off $5 or more in shoe coupons.
I got $5 for sears.com. This is the third time in a month that I’ve gotten $5 plus I got $15 because they sent me a messed up coupon or something. If you’ve got the free shipping, what I always do is get a $5 or less (dr.seuss boardbooks usually run just $4!)book at sears.com and the shipping is only $.99! I’ve gotten several books this way for just the change I have left over on prepaid cards I use for bills, online shopping, etc.
For any hipsters near the Chicago loop sears store. They are going out of business in April of this year. Sad to loose another long time company. I hear the price reductions will start this Sunday.
I got $5 and used it toward pjs for my 3 year old. They are having a huge clearance on Carter’s and Oshkosh.

They will have additional 40% off on clearance items in store starting tomorrow, 1/24 through 1/26. I don’t know about online though.

I got $7 in surprise pts. Since Kmart is doing a promo for $10 credit when you purchase $30 worth of Huggies, I applied my surprise pts, used a $2.50 manufacturer coupon, and stocked up on a huge box of diapers. Plus I got $10 back to use on grocery, health or beauty items!
About 2 months ago I made my first purchase at Sears in probably a year or more, and ever since all my SYWR emails are for Sears instead of Kmart 🙁 Sears is like a half hour or more drive and even if it was closer I still wouldn’t want to go there. Kmart is only a few minutes away and I shop there often so it sucks to not be getting their coupons much anymore.
My Kmart had Softsoap bodywash for $2.99 with a 1000 points ($1) for each one purchased.
