      Free shipping with $50 purchase!

  2. MRL

how do there shirts run – the striped ones?

    • C

Everything fits super tight I think. Or “fitted” if you prefer.

  3. Amy

    In my opinion small.

  4. K3llyb

It’s Juniors sizing, so they run small and their dresses/skirts run rather short. I couldn’t find anything else on the site worth buying that would make my basket $50, but Abercrombie had the exact same promo so depending on what you like, you may have better luck there.

  5. Jennifer

Ouch….$8 shipping if order is under $50!

I will never support this company or Abercrombie.

A size 10 is smaller than what Marlyn Monroe wore.

Everytime I walk by there stores I just want to swear up a storm!

    • Tilla Ham

but they are junior sizing, like for teenagers. I don’t expect as a mom of 4 to walk in there and shop for me

I think you should probably look up the history of the OWNER of Hollister. Look up what he said a few years ago about “big people” ….they don’t want anyone 10lb. over weight to be in their clothing. There was a protest against that (something about homeless people, dressing them in Hollister) you should look that up too! This company….is DEFINITELY NOT a good one for our youngster society!!!!!

    • jody

100% AGREE!!!!!! I will never support this joke of a company!!!

While the sizing at Ambercrobie and Hollister runs small (I’m pretty sure their target demographic is 12-22 year-olds), using Marilyn Monroe as a size comparison is pretty useless. With a uniquely proportioned figure and custom made dresses and a fluctuating size, it’d be hard to say exactly what she’d wear in an off-the-shelf dress. Additionally her sizes are often quoted using the British size numbering system and the biggest factor is the trend towards vanity sizing. A 1950’s size 10 is not the same as a 2014 size 10. https://jezebel.com/5299793/for-the-last-time-what-size-was-marilyn-monroe

I’m 24 have a 3 year old and wear their size 23 waist jeans I’m happy to find clothing that fits me. And if I had a clothing brand I wwouldn’t market to overweight people either since it isn’t healthy!

      • Des

I agree! As long as they market to healthy sizes I see nothing wrong with the brand. Seeing your size not sold there is like somebody skinny walking into a plus size store complaining they don’t see their size. Some stores cater to specific looks or sizes, not just hollister & their sister brands.

Are you married or a single mom?

        • annad

Is that to me? I’m a single mom why do you ask?

When I was a teen (I’m 24) and hollister was popular they NEVER had sales and everything was SOOO expensive!!! I’ve noticed the regular prices are cheaper now and they almost always have sale signs up now. They must not be getting as much business now I dunno that’s just my guess.

    • Brianna

Agree so much! I’m 24 also and remember when Abercrombie and Hollister were “it” and never EVER had sales like this. Guess it’s a sign of the times. A lot of people I know in that age group shop at Forever21 or H&M.

      • MommySpendsLess

I’m 30 and remember the same thing. I thought maybe I just didn’t know how to find deals in my teens/early 20’s. At the time, I was thrilled to find these brands at Plato’s Closet.

      • SoxGirl1029

You’re right, Brianna…my 14 year old gets most of her stuff from H&M and Forever 21. She will only wear stuff from Hollister and Aeropostale if it doesn’t have any logos. She hates things with words across the chest. So much different from when I was a teenager!!

  8. chris

For some reason it is only giving me 10% off with that code….hmmmm

  9. Tilla Ham

bummed that it doesn’t work on jeans but considering some anyway as 20 a pair is a steal and these look fantastic on my 2 skinny girls

  10. Stacy

If u plan on visiting their store, bring nose plugs and a flashlight..

    • K

      That’s funny!!!!

  11. NIKKI

GOT MY DAUGHTER A SWEATSHIRT, 3 TANKS, AND A PAIR OF JEAN SHORTS SHIPPED FOR $38. ! SHE’S HAPPY AND GOOD DEALS MAKE MOM HAPPY TOO =)
