Wowzers! If you are looking for a sweet deal on slippers, you may want to head over to your local Target where you should be able to score clearance slippers at an additional 70% off the already-reduced clearance prices, making for some real steals! I ran over to my local Target here in Boise, ID this morning and was able to find Girl’s slippers for as low as $1.34, Men’s and Women’s Slippers for only $2.99 (regularly $19.99), and more! Wow!
*Be sure to price check as the slippers should ring up even less than the price that is shown on the clearance sticker.

Is this a secret clearance or is it advertised?
I don’t think they often advertise clearance items since each store is different.
If you Google “Target clearance schedule” you’ll find out more about it (I read about this on thekrazycouponlady).
I bought the Hello Kitty ones for my daughter. The tag said $2.98 but they rang up for $0.89.
I paid $4.99 for them on Saturday as I thought 50% off was a good deal! Lol

Didn’t see the slippers myself, but for 50% I got a hello kitty gumball machine last Friday, and the check out clerk said that a ton of hello kitty stuff was clearanced. I’m in San Diego.
On Sunday, I found a Hello Kitty karaoke machine for 70% off for $39.99.
My s/o thought it would be funny to have it around, but it wouldn’t be used.
Target in Alhambra has all the mocassin’s on sale for $1.79
Yesterday , I went to Target and I found some Christmas winter Oreo cookies , but that dies not rang up any price , price check says item not found I taken to the registry she called the manager , he make a call to somebody and said the price for that is $2.99 , I told him it is Christmas but he did not honour that…..I am so up sset…..item

That happened to me the day after they removed all the holiday items. I found stragglers but they all went back up to normal prices and they would not honor it even if it showed it was christmas. I know, weird
That’s happened to me several times with items that are clearly a seasonal item. I’ve had a manager tell me that if I didn’t buy the item for full price then it was going in the trash.
Yep….happens to folks after every holiday.
This also happened to me when I found a can of the holiday nuts, except the lady took it out of my hands and didn’t even offer to me at full price. I asked her what she planned on doing with it and she said that they send it back to the manufacturer. It’s not like they can keep it until next year because I’m sure they would be expired or near the expiration date. I wouldn’t be surprised if she went off and ate them since it’s not in the system.
I found one three pack of the chapstick in tin packaging sticker price at $2.48. Went to scan it and it came up item not found. I was going to ask customer service but I knew mostly likely they would tell me it’s $2.48. I ended up putting it back on shelf. If there was no sticker price I would have asked.
We had a problem with some Christmas soap – santa and reindeer liquid soap dispensers- at our Target. When everything was down to 90% off it was still scanning about 30% (not even 50%!) off. I do not understand how our Target was marking things down this year. I cannot complain too much because we did score quite a few items for 80 cents, but then other things would be close to normal price.

Thank You Collin! I ran to my Target and didn’t see the price tag- got a pair for $7.98 and then rang up for $2.99 and got 2 more pairs! As a stay at home mom- I am always on my feet and can always use slippers. I go through at least 1 pair every 6-8 months! Thanks for sharing. May have to go back for a little early christmas shopping!
When did Target start doing “additional” discounts?
I went in on Saturday for a return. I did check out the clearance shoes/slippers but it was really limited.
if you search “target clearance schedule” online you’ll see that they discount certain items throughout the week. I don’t know how long this has been going on though.

oh man.. was there this morning and was looking for slippers, but since the tags showed 50% I did not get them since I want them cheaper 😉 now we have severe wind chill alert and cannot leave the house with 2 kids in tow…. oh well.
Yay! My target still had a nice selection left. I got 4 moccasin and 1 hello kitty for $6.99 total! Prices were $1.79 and $1.49, used $2 shopkick reward that i earned in less than 5 days! And redcard= $6.99! Awesome 🙂

I got 4 pairs of my favorite suede slippers for $2.99 each and bought my Mom 2 pairs of Isotoner slippers for $1.94 each! I had been scoping the slipper department for a while waiting for 70% off regular price but this deal was so much better, thanks for posting Collin!
Went to a Target that I had seen 2 weeks ago had a good selection of slippers not really expecting to find this deal since it always seems to be behind in marking down items. Well to my surprise there were plenty of slippers available and were ringing $1.49….couldn’t have been happier 🙂 I’m in Fort Worth BTW
Ugh. I stopped by my target in Houston and the shoe department was almost completely cleared out. They had boxed all of the slippers up to ship out! The associate that was moving the box didn’t know why or where they were sending them. That stinks!!

I went to Target in Cali. and did come across one gray pair of womens slippers scanned at $2.99. Didn’t get it since it was a size 9.
My Boston area Target had these when I stopped by to stock up on frozen pizza tonight. I scored a pair for my husband for $4 that were originally $29.99. I also got a pair for my toddler (Cars movie theme) for $0.89. Also there were a good selection of shoes that were also marked down to 70% off. I bought two pairs of flats (one for about $6.50 and the other for around $8.50). Awesome deals on things that we needed 🙂 Thanks for the heads up Colin!!
Just came from my target in south jersey they had an ok selection left. The prices said they were higher but when I proved check I got 30.00 slippers for 2.99 I ended up with 5 pairs of slippers for 11.98 good deal. They also had other shoes marked down the signs said 30 off but they were scanning for a lot cheaper remember to scan scan everything !
I was able to find 5 prs of slippers, one for everyone in my family for $16. The regular price would have been $111. Start the car!!!!!

I went to another Target during lunch today. I was only able to find 3 cheetah slippers for $1.49 (all size Medium. None had clearance stickers on it. Luckily, the women in my family have medium to small sized feet excluding me. But it’s not a good idea to gift all the same slippers to women who all live in the same house! lol).
I initially went to another Target on Monday evening when this was first posted. I found a good amount of women slippers in different sizes and styles. BUT, when I got home, I realized I should have walked into the mens shoe section. I guess looking at my s/o when I got home reminded me that I should have searched for a pair for him! Opps!
But I wouldn’t be surprised if the items were boxed up today like Mae mentioned above.
Btw, flip-flops and thin spring/summer shoes were on the walls now!
What?! It’s still winter and half of the US is covered in snow. I’m in Northern California, sadly it’s been warm and there’s been a severe lack of rain. But I wouldn’t be surprised if icy temperatures and rain return.
