Has anyone had these……how are they
There was a coupon for it a few days ago. There were lots of comments about them being “gross.”
Might be worth free, but I got them on sale for $1 a couple weeks ago and I wouldn’t pay that ever again. Hardly any substance and they were hard.
We had them last summer when we went to the lake with the family-i didnt think they were gross. they were ok. I would eat it again, maybe not everyday but if you need something quick it will do.
I have not tried them despite all the “deals” posted about them, but if it is a Hormel ready-to-eat item, I’d wager it’s gross. I bought the shelf-stable microwave meals once and my husband described them as on par with dog food.
We’ve tried them (coupon deal…..) and, my kids hated them. GROSS.
abviously you could make them for cheaper by just buying the wraps and lunchmeat and cheese. and you can make more for about double what just one of those costs
Thanks for the deal Collin! Recently my biggest problem with these Kroger freebies is that my store doesn’t carry about half of these items!
The most recent example–their Aquafina water. The other day the customer service manager spent time with me looking for the Aquafina water (a freebie from a while back!) and she was informed the store doesn’t carry it.
This looks like it may be a new item so may run into the same issue. Was wondering if any of your other readers have had a similar experience?
Our Kroger in Louisiana actually has a table near the doors by produce with the freebie items set out on it. (That obviously won’t work for these refrigerated items from today.) I think it helps them advertise the Plus Program to everyone by saying look what you can get for free if you sign up! Makes it super easy to grab the free item without searching the store (as they are also on their regular shelf).
Louisiana was excluded from one free item (yogurt, as I recall, because of our dairy laws), but that may have been a normal digital coupon and not a Friday Download freebie. I think I’ve only had a problem with my store not carrying one other of the free items, and that was before they started putting the items on this table.
My Kroger is the same way…doesn’t carry some of the freebie Friday stuff and what they do carry isn’t set out in any special way, you have to hunt the store for it. At least there won’t be any problem finding this week’s freebie!
I’ve had the same problem with our area Krogers not carrying the Friday Freebie. Many times the workers and even managers don’t even know what I’m talking about when I ask for their help locating the item. Luckily, they will have this one for sure.
the aquafina freebie from last month was never available. my store never got them in.
at the time management had me look everywhere for it. (water aisle, soda aisle, powdered mix aisle. etc.
i got tired after a few weeks of looking and nothing. (this is a pepsi product)
well it’s available again as friday freebie from last week.
one again store employees had no idea what it was. had me do the usual water aisle hunt etc.
lo and behold i found it by accident by the produce section in a open refrigeration display with vitamin water and krogers flavored water. go figure. i felt i was on a treasure hunt.
by the way, i never liked drinking water period. doctors says i need to try and drink plenty of water and suggested flavored water. i must say i do like the aquafina that i tried in berry flavor.

I got an email from Kroger too that they were extending the Aquafina freebie for a month
I find that if you can go on Friday’s you have much better luck. If you wait it’s usually out of stock. With the drinks last week they told me the ones they had were out of date but they did give me a raincheck. 🙂
i tried the Rev wraps when they came out a while back. They’re ok. Definitely not bad for free 🙂
I purchased these a few months ago. My son liked them, but some varities 20g of fat in them!!! Too much for 3oz. of food.
Are you actually heating these wraps up? I had the pepperoni (pizza one?) cold it was disgusting… But heating it up made it sooooo much better- i actually liked it. I would never pay less than .75 cents for these- so free is excellent. For everyone saying they are gross- try heating them up. I had to search the package because i thought no way this tastes like this as a quick snack- who would eat this cold???? Heated made a huge difference. 🙂
I got a few of these at Target for less than $1… they aren’t too bad. Definitely nice as a backup lunch if you forget or don’t have time to make anything. I think they are definitely worth it for free. HTH!
i can’t log in due to technical difficulties. going on 3 hrs. now. i’ll keep trying. i don’t like these. they are high in sodium, and taste is not for my liking. but have a friend who has a young son that likes them. which i in turn give it to him.
I have not been able to log in with my phone for about a month now. The computer and iPad works fine.
