As most of you know, 9/16/12, was the start of the new Walgreens Balance Rewards Program! Even sweeter, on 5/5/13, they started a new point system in which you can redeem your points once you reach just 1,000 points. Please head here to read all about it.

Has anyone ever been able to use two coupons when buying WG BOGO items? The second coupon has never been accepted at my WG – Lever 2000 soap, Arizona Tea, Razors, you name it, when I try to buy 2 with Qs and WG BOGO offer, only the first coupon is accepted. I can use a MF BOGO Q with a WG BOGO offer, just not two coupons.

Their corporate policy says they will accept 2 MQ with a BOGO deal. Print it out (there’s a link at the top of this page) and bring it with you next time you shop. HTH
I try to use 2 coupons in the vitamin deal, and the cashier told me I can’t use 2, I never had that problem before. Also another cashier don’t let me use the wet’n wild coupon because she couldn’t adjust the price…. bc the new policy…..Does someone knows if they change it?
From what I know, they have to get an override by someone to change the coupon price now!
The coupon policy can say what it does – the coupon will scan with an invalid use flag to the cashier – saying only one q is allowed on a BOGO. It’s not the cashier. My reason for asking was that H2S is the only site saying use 2 Qs in a BOGO. If someone else is getting 2 qs accepted with a BOGO, I’d love to know how.
Brian, what sites are you talking about. I have been couponing for 9 years and read and ton of blogs but mainly read message boards and I have never seen it listed just one coupon on a wags bogo sale. I also have never had an issue using two coupons on a bogo promo AS LONG as it is for example two $/1 coupons and NOT a BOGO q and a $/1 combined for the bogo promo… That is actually not supposed to be done anymore per majority of the wordings on BOGO Q’s now (it actually changed several years ago)
The only thing I can think of is you have been trying to use a bogo q and a $/1 on the bogo promo… The bogo q attaches for both items in the bogo sale. They should restate and say this because to some who are fresh, it may be confusing. I have also never seen collin using a bogo with a $/1 on a pair of items except for when it used to be generally allowed at all the drugstores.
Brian- I’ve been couponing for a many years and I’ve tried to teach friends and families to coupon…wags is so hard to explain but I try to explain it by saying a BOGO coupon is technically 2 items in one coupon.

I’ve been a Walgreens employee for 7 years, you can most definitely use two manufacturers coupons on a bogo free sale. I’ve never seen the computer flag the second coupon unless the total of the coupons exceedes the price of the products

Random question, how long does it take to see your earnings or ‘savings’ in your savings star account after you purchase an item? I want to use it more but I want to make sure the purchases are being recorded in my account so I get credit for the items I purchased.
Mine usually credit within a day or 2!!

I just contacted them for the second time. First time the item I bought didn’t get accounted for but they found it. This time they said the store hadn’t uploaded that day’s information and that it could take 2-22 days!! Other than these two times it has always been about 2 days depending on whether it was the weekend then it might take 3 days. Contact them anyway just to check.
I’ve found it depends on the store. The ones i use at RiteAid always take longer than Fred Meyer. I didn’t think they worked at Walgreens though, did they change it?

Do you have to sign up for Wag’s senior discount or is it automatic? How will they know to apply the discount when you check out?
Just tell the cashier before you checkout. They may check your ID, never have checked mine.
If you have an AARP card, link it with Walgreens. Sometimes, there are extra perks and it identifies one as a senior. Be sure to let the cashier know before the first item is scanned that you qualify for the discount. Due to PCism, they aren’t supposed to ask. And, if you don’t tell them first, they have to void the transaction and start over. Bet you can guess how I found that out!
Yesterday – I was able to “double dip” Kleenex b1g1 with last weeks 0.99 cents in-ad coupon. I paid net 1.17 for 6 after Catalina printed $1 🙂
Also – the85 count Kleenex are included in the spend $10, get 2500 points so that should make for some nice savings this week. But my store is sold out 🙂

I had a horrible experience this morning I had to go to 4 different walgreens to find any lady speed sticks which were 3.39 a piece and the coupon only took off 1.70 I noticed on my way home and called the walgreens by my house that I usually go to and the manager said it should have taken off the full 3.39 amount so I go in for adjustment and she says I need to go back to the store I purchased them from because they need to adjust the coupon too so I call that store and the manager there tells me I shouldn’t have been able to use a bogo coupon in the first place because it would apply to the 0 dollar item I proceeded to tell him my train of thought and the other managers and he didn’t care wth!!!
CJ, mine were $3.19 BUT the q itself, said up to $2.99. fortunately I WAS able to use them with Walgreen’s sale. If they had said no, I would have said no to the deal.
I was on the Walgreens website this morning. They now have digital coupons that can be loaded to your Balance Rewards Card. There is a 30% off Lays potato chip coupon. Lays are 2 for $5. Not sure how it will work, but I am presuming that it will only take the 30% off of one bag. First bag would ring up 3.29, so it should take of $0.99. Has anyone used the digital coupons?

I purchase the 24 count chewable packages of culturelle yesterday and they had a $2/1 coupon inside each box. I ended up paying $8.60 and getting a $10 register reward back. Used it to stock up on all the other goodies this week!
Can somebody tell me if i can return a item to Wags that generated a RR. I have already used the RR in another transaction. If I can return, then what will be the amount paid to me? Will it be full price or Full price – RR ?
Walgreens brand Hydrogen Peroxide, 16 oz is 3/$1 with in ad coupon, AND there’s also a Buy One Get One 50% Off through 2/22. So, the cost per bottle is actually 17 cents when you buy 2, 4 or the limit of 6.

I wanted to throw out there that the peroxide deal is hotter than said. If you buy in even number it’s ringing up b1g1 1/2 off. So if you get 4 you’ll only pay 67 cents. so stacking the in ad coupon and the store deal. I found out by accident.
I just came from Walgreens and they didn’t accept my print coupons the employee told me that Walgreens policy just change and they will only accept news paper coupons.
This is true or false??

Does anyone know if the nature’s bounty shake mix is included in the bogo sale? It looks like it online, but a friend went to get some and it rang up full price. She may have only purchased one, and may not have a balance rewards card… could be part of the problem. Thanks!
Anyone submitted the rebates for Arctic Naturals Daily Omega-3 and Renew Life Love Your Heart on the Walgreens Rebates website? After I entered all information and clicked “CONTINUE”, the page got stuck in “LOADING” status for ever. I tried several times in the past couple of days and it’s always same.
I went to Walgreen today use my buy one get one free on Speed stick they did not honor my coupon. the clerk say I have to buy one and it already on sale. Did anyone have any problem?
Shopping at Walgreen’s is almost always a maddening experience for me. For example last week I bought Culturelle and got RR for $10. I didn’t spend it last week so I was going to use it this week. So I wondered if I could buy another Culturelle product (since it was a completely different sale and even different items). When I called Walgreen’s 1800 number, they didn’t know the answer to my question. When I called a local store, they said that I would have to come in and try it. So I did come in to try it and I was not able to buy another Culturelle product and get another RR. It didn’t make sense to me since it was a different sale and also different items. So I left the store aggravated. So I got to thinking: the AZO was also a $10 item producing a $10 RR so I purchased AZO w/ my $10 Culturelle RR. I then used the $10 AZO to buy Culturelle. It did not produce a RR at all. This was my 2nd trip. When it didnt’ produce a $10 RR, the cashier had to go ask someone what to do. He said you can’t get another $10 Culturelle RR and can’t roll the RR coupons. So frustrating…..they don’t know what to do. Aggravated, I left w/ the AZO and Culturelle but no RR. The guy acted like he was doing me a favor. It makes me not want to go back there.
These kinds of things seem to happen to me most of the times I go to Walgreen’s. Just another reason to shop at Target or CVS.
