I’ve never bought paper at Staples. Is the Easy Rebate instant, like a coupon?

When I was at Staples the other day, they had a binder trade-in deal. Get $2 off a new binder when you turn in an old one. If that can be combined with the 30% off, it will be a really great deal.

Jodi – The binder trade in has to be done at the register when you are buying the new binder. Yes, they can be combined and it makes a great deal. I always save my beaten up old binders just for this.

But the coupon says that it is for item #513096 which is $51.99. Do you know if it can be used with item #990176 which is $24.99

If you look at the next coupon down it’s the one for the rebate. I think you’re looking at the $25 off coupon for the case of paper! Hope that helps 🙂

Is this something you can do online if you are a rewards member?

    • jenn

i tried, but you have to do it in store. i think because the shipping would cost too much, so they would loose money on cheap paper + shipping. 🙁

I’m having a brain fog, lol.
If I buy the bundle of paper #990176 paper, I will be paying the full $24.99 plus tax at the register when I give them the coupon? And then have to submit for the rebate separately via online or mail in?
Then receive a check or visa prepay card via mail within 4-6 weeks?
The $2 out of pocket will be for …..taxes???

    Thanks

You pay $21.00 + tax at register [$25.99-$4.99 coupon]. Follow instructions on the rebate receipt you get from the register and submit online to get the $19.00 Visa card.

      • Ciara

        Where is the 4.99 coupon?

        • bargainhunter

Click the link at the top [coupon 11338].

    Oops…..forgot one other clarification.
Is this offer for “all” customers or do I have to be a member of a rewards program with them to get in on this deal?

    Thanks again

    • bargainhunter

Not required, but enrolling in Staples Rewards is free. You get 5% back on most purchases [store credit] plus free shipping on .com orders.

I saw Staples has business cards for 99 cents for 250, but shipping is $9.95 – does anyone know how to get free shipping on print orders?
