Wow..seems lately everyone must make a comment about a recipe or coupon or whatever. I think everyone is able..on their own..to read ingredients and decide for themselves if they want to purchase a product or make something from a recipe. If ya don’t like a recipe or a product then don’t make or buy it. Sigh. Have a great day 🙂

DITTO! just because collin posts a deal doesnt mean u have to buy it! im pretty sure all her readers dont buy every single thing she posts!!

    • Alea

      Amen!

      • Missie B.

        Well said Meg!

I agree with you Meg. Everyone does have something to say or a recipe to share. But, in defense of all of us that do share:
      1. The sharing and “community” this blog/site offers is one of the big reasons it is so successful. That includes the sharing of opinions, solutions and alternatives to all topics posted. I was in communication with Checkout51 before it was posted here. I linked them to Collin’s post when it finally went up. They love how we all interact with what Collin posts and what other people comment on. ( I only included that info to show that it’s a sentiment shared.)
      2. I think it’s great that people share this stuff. I hope that something posted here will encourage anyone (young or old) to try something new. Maybe they’ll realize that something they thought they couldn’t do was a misplaced fear. For all we know, someone here that was terrified of cooking may end up to be the next Rachael Ray. On the other hand, it could foster the next center of attention on the documentary series, “Hoarders” or “Buried Alive”. (seriously, some of the deals found here almost feel like stealing!)
      3. Collin obviously doesn’t have a problem with it. She could nip it quick if so desired. (PLEASE don’t do that Collin!)
      4. There are far more recipes being published here now than previously. At least in frequency. That in itself is going to spawn more recipe talk.
      5. We all should know the saying by now, “Opinions are like….. everybody’s got one”.
      6. Last but not least, we should all know how to scroll by now.

There’s nothing wrong with sharing and certainly everyone is entitled to their opinion but it does seem lately as though there are a lot of haters who always have something negative to say about every product, manufacturer, etc. and try to shame and dissuade others from purchasing said product(s).. I sometimes wonder if some of these folks just want to keep all the the good deals for themselves.. Lol

I actually appreciate the ingredients being listed because I had no idea what the ingredients were, I was going to buy them but now I’ve changed my mind.

    But im lazy…..

    • Missie B.

      LOL!!!

    • Hiro

      Yap! Me,too!
Don’t get me wrong, but no matter what you eat ( healthy food or not )… still get sick..

While I see both sides sometimes someone mentioning it is helpful to make an informed decision. Thank goodness for the blogger who outted subway and their “yoga making materials” in their bread. Gross. I just started making my own coffee creamer this week and love the taste!

  6. Ess

So, have you checked the ingredients lists for the flour, sugar, etc.? Half of that stuff is probably in those as well. Like dihydrogen monoxide, that sounds bad but that’s the chemical name for water.

    • Becky

      Well said.

  7. 78Brownie

    Thank you.

  8. Jennifer

I will say that I have thought about buying it with the coupon but the price itself even with the coupon was outrageous.

    • Barb

Jennifer how much are these? I’m lazy too and sometime I will use a mix for pancakes, but I agree with the poster above I’d much rather eat my homemade pancakes – I use Bobby Flays blueberry recipe he used on his “Throwdown” show, holy cow they are good. But I’d still like to know the price of these if you know Jennifer. Thanks:)

  9. Kelly

Something like this would be good for when we go up north on vacation and rent a place. I hate packing a whole box of mix and then have to repack what’s left and take it back home. Thanks for posting!
