It’s telling me the code has already been used. ? 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you’ve placed an order recently, you may have used that code already. You may want to try the code 37898 and see if it works for you?!

  2. Denise

When I add 4 it changes the price from 6.99 to 7.99 anyone have this issue?

    • Sally

The pirce is $7.99 with $1.00 instant savings. you should see the -$4.00 instant savings when you go to check out.

    • Yra R.

the instant savings coupon of $4 makes it 6.99

  3. val becktell

it saysQty 4 rolls at $7.99 when I check out and also it says it is 1 ply? Is this correct? thanks!

    • val becktell

oops didn’t see Denise’s comment before I posted sorry! So I guess I am just asking if it is 1 ply? We can’t use 1 ply it’s too thin! thanks!

  4. Gloria

    You can use code 37898

  5. Katie

Thanks Collin! The second code just worked! Who hoo!

I purchased these the other day, where I did the reserve at store option. I was shocked at how small the rolls of TP are now adays. So I went to pay at the store using a $5 card that Staples sent me, along with a manufacturer $.25 coupon and their 20% off breakroom coupon. The 20% coupon couldn’t be combined with the $5 special card from Staples. It still was cheap, but normally, I would not have purchased as the rolls are so darn tiny!

I used Collin’s toilet paper pricing strategy to price these rolls were square foot (which includes the fact they are 1 ply). Great deal!

    • sara

do you mind sharing some of your prices?

  8. Michelle

Thanks!!! Been waiting for this deal to come around again!!

  9. Melinda

Go to the Staples website through Swagbucks and earn $4 per dollar spent.

    • Missie B.

That is 4 “Swagbucks” per dollar spent.

  10. Kathy

shop at home 4% cash back

Four packages are 2,004 square feet. I think $22.96 is not a bad price, but it’s not great either. I prefer to aim for $0.01/sq ft (which would be $20.04) or less since I can get Kirkland at Costco for under $0.01/sq ft.

    • miller

Thank you, Kristen. Always appreciate your calculations.

      • Stacy

Same! Everytime there’s a TP deal I keep checking back the comments until Kristen’s calculations come thru! 😉

    • sara

wow! thanks for doing the math and sharing that! 🙂

      Hi Eileen,
I wonder if it would work in a different browser!?!

    Out of stock! 🙁

This is 1-ply paper, but it is Charmin brand so I will tell you from experience that it is not bad for 1-ply paper. Better than the scott 1-ply that you can buy by the single roll. We have used this in the past in our business (mechanical shop employing 8 guys) and they had no complaints and did not use it up any faster than anything else we’ve used. If you have paper hogs in your house, like small children, this would be a good charmin option for you as too much of the regular 2-ply charmin products going down the pipes is well known to cause issues. HTH!

This is great! I just received my $25 Staples Gift Card this week, from purchasing a Keurig on Black Friday. Got the 4 packages free, and a few cents still left on my giftcard. Whoo-hoo!

    Collin, you are Awesome!

  16. Lori

Mine came out to $25.03 because it charged me $2.07 tax.

  17. Ashley F

I price match the $6.99 price at my local store (which I did Monday) as I found using the 20% off coupon I was saving more also keep an eye out in store they have the 16 packs with 4 bonus rolls of TP so a 20 pack for $6.99 which is the highest I will pay for Charmin Basic(but never do!! thanks to a little hustle and pre planning!). This is my personal and my families favorite TP, yes I’m a shameless TP snob! I have found that Staples continually has Charmin Basic the cheapest anywhere for the 16 packs or larger. I don’t buy my TP anywhere else!

  18. Judy

I got it for $13.93 including tax since i have $10 staples rewards from the recycled ink cartridges.. Score!!! Thanks Collin!:))

  19. Rhonda

Mine was 25.03 too, Lori. That’s ok, still a good deal and I’d pay 2.07 to not have to go out in the cold, burn my gas & time to lug it home! Lol

  20. Me

Really tempted to get some of this as it has to be better that the Scott Extra Soft…NOT SOFT…and why the ripples? Bought tons at CVS months ago and we cannot use it fast enough! Never thought I’d say that about toilet paper!!

  21. Kim

Dont forget to go through EBATES too to get additional cash back!
