I got excited when I seen a deal on Classico, then I seen it was for jarred alfredo sauce. Can’t even give that stuff away (to me anyway). 😛 I wish I thought that stuff tasted good, making it from scratch is much more expensive!
Ashley, here is a very good and very inexpensive Alfredo sauce recipe.
1 pint of heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese.
In a medium saucepan combine whipping cream, butter, and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook over medium low heat until smooth. Remove from heat. Sauce will thicken upon standing. Enjoy!!
Cammie, your recipe sounds great, but it certainly reminds me of why I’ve heard pasta Alfredo called a “heart attack on a plate!” LOL

Ha Cammie, that’s the exact recipe I use! I think it’s expensive, it usually costs me about $6 as opposed to $2! I should probably half the recipe since it’s one leftover no one cares for.
Barb, I have tried Preggo. I think they all have a weird taste to them and I’ve tried a lot.
Ashley have you tried Preggo’s Alfredo Sauce? I think out of all the ones I’ve tried so far, I like this one the best and it does taste like Alfredo sauce! I also think Cammies recipe sounds really good too!
Is the $0.70 on any Kashi product coupon gone already? All I am seeing is the $0.70/1 Cereal Coupon. Or is it under a specific zip code?

I just got one since my coupon was expiring in a couple days and I was at Target. I bought the regular DVD for $19.99. Coupon says good for combo pack OR dvd. So after coupon my DVD was $14.99 and it came with a peelie for free drink and popcorn from the Target café! I haven’t looked closely at the peelie but planning to take my kids out to pick up their popcorn and movie and then come home and watch movie on Valentine’s day.
