I was too! I kept seeing them posting on Instagram and was hoping they’d put a stop to it! Always makes me mad when people walk in and take all of the tearpads and peelies in a store too and then go and sell them.
I bought two packs around the holiday and went home to put the peelie codes in nine and it turned out 1 code had already been redeemed! It was still in the peelie on my batteries and didn’t look like it had been touched before me. I called the number for this promotion and they couldn’t help me get my $10 gift cared even though I had my receipt and the peelies and batteries. Thanks to some selfish person, they totally ruined this deal for me. I have no intentions on ever supporting Walmart again or going back. I refuse to support a company that can’t accept the fact they allow this to happen and pretend to ignore it is a problem. I am willing to bet that I am not the only person this happened to.
It’s things like this that makes me wonder why companies can’t put the codes inside the package so there’s no way to get it unless you buy the item. A lot of good peelers are also gone bc of the same error… And those stars on sbucks coffee packages.
I’ve done this 3 times and gotten all 3 gift cards–love when I can save like this on things I use regularly!!

I had gotten my card awhile ago but it wouldnt work like it wasnt activated. Threw the paper away that it came with, did it have to activated?
Mine didn’t work at first, but the cashier had a manager do something to it that fixed it. It did make me a little nervous to try doing the deal again.
Happened to me to and the cashier had to add value to it? But then I had another one and it worked fine. So strange.
I have gotten two from this promo, one card worked fine but the second one I received the cashier kept telling me its only taking 0.01, I looked at the receipt and sure enough only a penny. Ugh.

I got all four of my Wal-Mart cards before Christmas. One didn’t work and I had to call the help line and they sent a replacement….my questions is, you can do this one AND the K-Mart deal, right? I have yet to see my Birthday Bucks from the K-Mart $8.00 promotion. I was under the impression you could do both. I also already received an $8.00 gas card (MasterCard) for buying three packs (also purchased at K-Mart).
I was curious about the status of my Bunny Bucks checks, so I called the help-line. They were very helpful and said the checks were mailed out Feb 4th, so they should be here soon. Hooray!
I did this in November I think but it was a moneymaker for me. Batteries were 2/$8 at Hy-Vee with the choice of $8 via Paypal/Check or $10 Walmart Giftcard. I took the giftcard and did this a total of 4 times which was the max per household.

WOW some woman on Facebook is bragging about her son stealing off like 20 peelies and now she is selling the $10 codes for $6 a set!!! This is really pathetic..!

Its sickening to hear how low people can get. I’m not sure who is more to blame. They should have made it so a receipt is required or put the code INSIDE the package. To just take the code is stealing. Shame on Energizer and Walmart for not rectifying these issues.
Anyway, Thanks to H2S’s reminder…and being low on batteries, I went to Walmart and purchased two packs. Both code were entered with no problems. “Thank You! You will receive your $10 WALMART® gift card in 6-8 weeks.”
