I’ve had terrible luck with these books. They fall apart within days and the gluing is very poor quality.
I had the same problem. My husband gave one to me and it started tearing. He complained to walgreens nicely and they told him to bring it in and they’d replace it for free. No problems since.
Do you know if they have to be the same book? Or, can they be two different books, as long as they are both 8.5 x 11? I assume it’s ok for them to be different since it doesn’t specify?
The last time they did a bogo book promo, it had to be the same one. I was pretty disappointed in the quality though. I wound up having to remake the book and order through shutterfly.
@ Mel and Corey. Thanks for letting me know. I wasn’t sure how the quality stacked up to Shutterfly (we’ve been absolutely thrilled with those deals!) so will definitely take a pass on this one.
Overall, Walgreen’s photo quality is not great. Although I do order through Snapfish and Shutterfly, it would be great to find a local option as well.
I haven’t tried making one of these hard bound books yet at Walgreens and have wondered about the quality. I have made some nice soft cover books there that turned out well. Meanwhile, I do have to chime in on Shutterfly and also My Publisher. The quality of both has been wonderful!
Is shutterfly picture quality in their books good? I order prints and enlargements from walgreens and they are ok, but I ordered 2 of the smaller books that were free a while back, and the pic quality was terrible. Thanks
