Can you explain how there is a limit of two coupons per customer but 4 rebates per household? Thanks!
The 3rd and 4th purchase will simply cost you more money. You can still submit for the rebate, you just won’t be getting them for $2/each.
I may e wrong, but I think that means you can redeem two (and no more), then your spouse can redeem two (and no more), then someone else who live in you house could use two coupons, but could not get the rebate because your household can only redeem 4. Just a heads up for anyone who may have wanted to redeem more than 4 rebates to know it won’t allow you todo so.
Hi Melissa,
So to explain – there is a limit of only 2 coupons, which means you can use the coupons two times to score FREE copy paper twice and $2 5-ream cases twice (after easy rebate and coupon).
After that, you can score 2 additional rebates, however, your out of pocket cost will be higher since you can’t also use the coupons. So the copy paper will end up being $3.99 and the 5-ream case will be $6.99 (after rebate). Hope that helps clear up any confusion.
Awesome thanks Collin. Also FYI, the coupon for the single pack printed with a limit of only one coupon per customer.
Saw that too. Since it’s a holiday tomorrow, my husband, baby, and I will all go together which is 3 customers in my book.
Can u use a crayola manufacture coupon with the staples coupon??
The Staples Multipurpose paper coupon says the limit is 1 per customer. The 5 ream case says 2 per customer.
Whoops – just updated!
If they will take the 25%coupon on the 5 ream packs, it will only be $.50 each after rebate.
I didn’t even try the 25% coupon with the paper deal because it said “each item purchased can only be discounted by one coupon…may not be combined with another coupon,” but I guess I should have tried :).
is the multipurpose paper same as the glossy photo paper that they did rebate before?
No, it’s not glossy.
There’s a specific item number on the coupon and the product is “copy paper…20 lb/92 bright”
More free paper from Staples? What the what? tell me it isn’t so! lol Thanks for the heads up!!!
Hi, I’m new to shopping at Staples. I did this paper deal a little while back. Is it possible to do it again for the rebate this time around? Thanks!
Yes you can, it is a different offer (with different dates).
Might want to call ahead. I have been to Staples twice in the last 2 weeks and they did not have the 5 ream copy paper in the store.
I did the deal a couple weeks ago with the free 5-ream packs and had a hard time finding them in the store too…they weren’t where the reams or boxes were…they were on a pallet up front. Check there! HTH! 🙂
thanks. that’s where they were at my store too.
If I use staples rewards to pay (earned by turning in used ink cartridges) can I still get my rebate?
Yes.
For anyone that has done this previously. Do you get the rebate in a form of a check. I have never done the rebate deals at Staples so not 100% sure how it works.
sorry, I don’t know from experience, but if no one else answers….
Last time, someone posted that it came in the form of a Visa card, but this info. is on the Staples help site:
“You now have a choice in how your rebate will be sent to you. With rebate offers of $10 or more, a prepaid card is the primary reward and you have the additional option of choosing a check or Staples Gift Card. With rebate offers of less than $10, check is the primary reward and you have the additional option of choosing a deposit to your registered PayPal account.”
“On select Easy Rebate offers you will have the option to select a Staples Gift Card that has an increased reward amount that is greater than the Visa Prepaid Card or check, within the same offer. Look for details on this added value within select Easy Rebate offers.”
Thanks for the info. Very much appriciated! 🙂
That info is out-of-date. There is only 1 rebate form of payment these days for a given item. If a single item is < $10 then you get a check. Does not matter if you buy 2 if the item is priced $10 you get a Visa rebate card. PayPal is no longer an option. Ever. Staples gift cards are the form of rebate on some items and are the only option for that rebate. This all changed a few months ago. Staples really needs to update their help info.
Can’t edit prior post. If item = $10 you get a Visa Rebate card. Or a Staples gift card for an item if so stated for that rebate. No PayPal any longer.
Argh! Comments edits greater than or equal to as equal. IF an item is greater than or equal to $10 you get a Visa card.
okay, I did both paper deals today and just submitted the rebate online.
This was my first Staples rebate and it was pretty easy :)–I like how the item numbers are printed on the coupons and that the rebate forms print on your receipt so that you’re sure you bought the right items.
So, I WAS NOT given a choice of how to receive the rebate.
The 3.50 rebate for the single pack of paper is going to be in the form of a check.
And the $19 rebate for the 5 reams is going to be in the form of a Visa Debit card.
A DOWNSIDE of the prepaid cards: This is printed on my rebate receipt: “subject to applicable law, a monthly maintenance fee of $3 applies, but is waived for the first six months,” so I guess if you don’t use it in 6 months, they start taking money away from it.
I got this today and the boxes were actually 5 reams shrinkwrapped together and were on a pallet in the middle of the floor, not with the other paper! ALSO, found a deal on Lipton tea cases, 12 pk for $2.00! I didn’t have my coupons with me, but $2.00 was still a great deal!!
I did the free paper deal a couple of weeks ago and had trouble printing out the coupons, but I was able to show the coupon on my phone and it worked fine. I am not sure if all locations accept coupons off your phone, though.
Spot on with this write-up, I really believe that this site needs much more attention. I’ll probably be returning to read more, thanks for
the advice!
