Target: Valentine’s Day Clearance Possibly 90% Off
If you’re headed to Target to make use of the 50% off select Games Cartwheel offers or any of the other deals I’ve posted here (scroll past this post), be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Valentine’s Day clearance! I’ve heard from quite a few readers now that select Target stores have reduced their Valentine’s Day clearance to 90% off. Keep in mind that lots of stores may still be at 70% off or even 50% off, so just make sure to price check. Also, items may not be marked correctly, so again – scan, scan, scan!

Target had 90& off non-candy Valentine’s items today and 70% off candy, but shelf tags didn’t reflect that change. Scan scan scan!
Just wanted to give you a heads up that my Target in Marlton, NJ has all the Valentine’s day stuff at 90% off and candy was 70%. I got full size bags of candy for less than $1 and kids shirts for $0.80. My Target still had a ton of stuff too. The total from my trip (just the Valentine’s stuff) was $18.43…the total regular priced would have been $120.66!
I was at the Waukegan, IL & Pleasant Prairie, WI Target stores and both have most of their Valentine’s Day merchandise reduced to 90%. Pink Trays $0.69, Bubbles $.90 (Jake & Mickie), Candy All under $0.95, Minnie bubble necklaces $0.19, Slippers $0.39, gift card holder $0.39, Bows $0.19, light up heart necklaces $0.30, Pez Justice Hero’s $0.59, Chick’s Dig Super Heroes shirts $0.90, Jake tattoos $0.15, and more! I spent around $40 and $3.40 of it was for poster lights![/h2s_box]

Brandice I found ALOT of deals in Fayetteville, GA. I got (4) Hello Kitty mini dolls, (5)Lalaloopsy mini dolls, (8) Sofia the 1st mini dolls, (2) lip gloss packs, (2) Hello Kitty nail polish sets, (2) my little pony nail polish sets, (4) wrapping paper, TONS of Valentine’s Day cards (Superman, Cars, Hello Kitty, Disney princess, Batman), (2) glitter sticks, a bunch of craft items and much, much more. I spent around $60.00 and saved around $540.00 I LOVE TARGET. I was there at 8:00am when they opened.

Found Cabbage Patch cuties for $0.99 in the regular aisle. They were purple with a heart on the chest.

I got three great deals! I bag of M & Ms and 1 bag of Hershey Kisses–both only 90 cents apiece! I also got the heart wreath for 1.75! Good day!

Yesterday I went, and they had 30% candy and 50% other stuff but once I scan it was 50% and 70% so got the m&ms for .9 cents also in the baby department found Carter’s outfits 70% not marked at all but a cute outfit for 2.69. Might call today or go tomorrow.
Richmond VA stores were pretty picked over. One woman had a cartful of the “better” stuff (clothes, crafts, housewares, etc.) They did have some Valentines left, though, as well as some candy, but that seemed kinda picked over, as well.
I found Nordic ware cake pop pans for 1.69!

90% here, but it was very picked over. Mostly valentines and a few boxes of chocolate. No M&M’s or other bagged candy. No biggie though! I found my favorite – Russell Stover Marshmallow hearts at Walgreens for .13 each each!
I went yesterday to my target in Northern California and they had the rest of the valentines day stuff (half an isle) for 50% off. I got a couple things but nothing really exciting.
uh if the poster who went to the PP WI store sees this… do you happen to know if they had 5T of the heros shirt? Its nap time or I would head out and go look myself on this lovely day we are finally having.

KCMO store has 90% valentines items and decor and 70% Valentine food products. BUT was really picked over.

Mine had signs for fifty and seventy. They were ringing up ninety and seventy. Got tissue paper, gift bags, stuffed bears for dog lol, woman’s shirts dollar to dollar thirty, socks girls two pair set fourty cents, suckers and gum balls eighty cents, bags of tatoos fifty cents, silly straws in blue nineteen cents, Nordic cake pop pan 1.59 and my fav new hot pads for $1.79 with brownie mix inside.
All these clearance just made me spend more and more…….

i went today, it was all at 70% but there was very little left, they pushed it against a back wall since they were already (!!) setting up for easter. i got a cute dress/pants outfit for my niece for 2.99 and a ghiradeli tin for myself, also 2.99.
Nothing left at the Deptford NJ store. Went this morning and a woman was there with everything single Valentine’s item in her cart. Pretty sad watching her take her arm and sweeping the items off each shelf so they fell in her cart. Went it reach for one item on last shelf and she grabbed it right out of my hand, then proceeded to then sweep the remainder of that shelf into her cart. 🙁 Several people standing around just staring with gaping mouths, employees included. Was looking for things to use in my classroom, oh well maybe I’ll have better luck after Easter.

I have had this happen more than once. One time Toy clerance where a three team couple one I know works at the store blocked off the whole area and loaded on rolling carts. I was actually in there first and there they were trying to take the few things I had. I made it clear that was a bad idea. Another after Halloween had an elderly lady wack my leg with her cane over a box if Count Chocula sp. The award however goes to the lady that took my child’s bottle out of his hand and put it out of reach then when I was giving it to him proceeded to take the two sheet sets out of my cart. I got them back 😉 and she got a very loud lesson in manners and I made her apologize to my son in front of a ton of shocked shoppers who watched what she did.
I have never seen anything like what I witnessed today. She even put her cart in the middle of the aisle so no one else could bring theirs through. Several people asked her to please move it so they could get through and she told them no. Really though what could you possibly do with 30 bags of M&Ms, 20ish bags of Hersey kisses, 25-30 big kisses, snickers, butterfingers, plus at least 50 boxes of valentine cards, etc. All I wanted was some stickers to use in my Kindergarten class and she took them right out of my hand. I guess it takes all kinds.

The sewel target didn’t have much left either. Just candy. I was so sad. I was at the deptford target the other day and they had a decent amount left. That’s sad the she took everything. It honestly makes me so mad when I hear stories like this. I have a doc appointment in mt laurel tomorrow hopefully they have a few things.
My target in Buffalo, N.Y was 90% off. I got 6 boxes of valentine exchange cards for 0.25 cents a piece , girls valentine 2 pack of socks for 0.39 cents and 2 8 packs of conversation hearts ( love them ) for 0.39 cents a piece !! Awesome haul .
Got my hubs a box of chocolates for under $3 and Lego valentines for 25 cents. My six year old has now learned to scope out the stuffed animals and did so on his own accord. He found a bear and a puppy for 49 cents each. Teaching them young. 😉 but I think clearing the shelves for resale is rather annoying.

Here in Louisville kY I only managed to get 2 heart shaped wreaths for 1.99. 90% off and not much left There were flannel sheet sets 17.48, that was a great price

I got a bunch of the little toys in the regular isles. I went at around 2 p.m. and was sure everything would be gone. I did take a lot because I have my daughter’s party this weekend and the toys will be a big space taker for the goody bags.
I got $63.00 worth of candy for $1.50 when I combined this sale with my coupons! Thanks Hip2save! Hubby is in a sugar coma!
What to do with leftover valentine cards?? Scored today at a few of my local stores…toddler shirts…CP dolls…does anyone know if the Vday books go on clearance?? I know my stores didn’t clearance Christmas books…

I went to the Target in Chicago/Elston and scored big!! I got 3 tobasco boxers @ $1.19 ea., hugs & kisses long pants $1.79, 3 bags of M&M’s @ $.85 (cartwheel incl), 9 bags of M&M’s @ $.95 ea., 2 heart boxes of peanut butter cups @ $.95 ea., hersey milk chocolate bag @ $.95, 3 valentine divided trays (for my daughter) @$.29 ea., 3 valentine favors at $.15 and & $.30, spritz tissue paper 6 @ $.14, Disney Sofia 4 @ $.59, Mega blocks 5 @ $.29, total w/tax was $35.95. Believe it or not, I was still looking for the mini bubbles 🙁 If anyone has a store with mini bubbles for $.09, please let me know. I would like just 10.

There was nothing left at the Nampa, ID target when I went yesterday. For anyone who found the Little People book (pictures above) where in the store was it?? I’m most sad about not finding the Ninja Turtles pizza shirt. 🙁 my son would have loved that.
Sarah, my Target store in Delaware had the Little People book today in the book section, but it was still regular price. None of the books were on sale here.

Not much left. They have moved all the Valentines stuff to different sections in the store. Found some valentine trays in the home dept. for 99 cents, got a heart blanket in the bedding dept. for 99 cents, mega blocks people in the toy dept. for 29 cents and a valentine table runner near the sheets for 99 cents. Also some misc. erasers and tattoos in the party section for 19 cents. There was no candy or cards left. Everything has been changed over to Easter. They still had Valentine books in the book section but they were all regular price.
What I did find was 90 percent off.

Went this morning and grabbed 2 bags of Valentine m&m. Went to pay for it with a Target coupon and was told by CS that items were already reduced and coupon can be use. Did Target change their coupon policy or CS was making things up again?
I went today and got some good russel stover boxed candy for $3+ at 70% off! My toddler ate most of the candy my husband got for me VDay, so, i believe I was owed 😉 i also got plenty of VDay themed exchange cards for 0.25 – 90% off, those make wonderful matching cards and play cards for practicing finding identical images with your baby, or for putting letters/numbers on reverse and using them as flash cards, and they hold their attention very well because they are cartoon-themed. One set of cards had different planet photos, and we are now practicing to recognize the moon, the sun, Jupiter and more! One set had kittens/puppies in 3D, and those were a hit, too! They had the tabasco mens underwear on sale, but not guinness 🙁 hersheys boxers, too, at 99 cents. Plenty left in Brown Deer, Wi

At both Valentine’s and Christmas, I have found things that do not scan…I’ve been told both times that they are not allowed to sell them to me because they have been “salvaged.” I know they just go in the trash, they’d be better off to sell them to me. What a waste!
Went today and got the cabbage patch kid for gift closet.. $.99! Also picked up 5 dog bowls each $.99..they are just red polka dotted, will match my kitchen nicely 🙂
