I just signed up with Perfectly Posh – which is another home based business. Feel free to check it out – https://perfectlyposh.com/7896

  2. Kb

Ipoll.com is the company swagbucks uses as its survey dashboard- under “trusted surveys” and you can have an account with them even if you have a swagbucks account. I make $150-$200 on swagbucks a month, so I highly recommend them.

    • Mandy B

Hi Kb. How many hours would you say that you spend doing surveys with Ipoll per month?

    • Sun

Hi Kb,,,,I am always not so good at swagbucks…I start and dont see any thing interesting in swagbuck…it takes lot of time to earn swagbucks..after reading your comment..I feel I am doing something wrong or not noticing the site correctly..Can you guide me what to do to earn on swagbucks?

    • amy

may be its a dumb question but will u pls explain how we can earn so much from epoll or SW. i have no idea. thank u so much in adv

    • Kels

Yes, please explain how you make so much each month using swagbucks? I can’t seem to break $30-35 tops. Do you do all your purchasing through them? How many hours on average would you say you spend working on there?

    • crystal

I have never made more than $20 a month doing surveys. I would love to be able to make more each month doing surveys.

    • Rebe

I am also confused about Swagbucks and can people make so much money. I have used it for browsing the internet, what else am I supposed to do to get enough points that are worth the time?

    • Kylie collins

How does it work?? They pay you to take surveys??

    • kb

sorry to just now reply but I’ll explain how I do it.

Goal- make your first tier goal every day. That will get you a $3 monthly bonus plus ~10X30=$3 daily bonus. If you can make your second tier bonus it looks more $3 monthly bonus and for me my second tier is about 500 so ~50X30=$15. So just making my bonuses gets me anywhere from $6 to $18 on the 5th of the month.

Games- find one you are good at, I like fyoozd. practice on the freeplay for a while (you’ll get 10 sb a day) then once your good, see how you do at tournaments. I can make a couple hundred a day through tournaments, but sometimes I lose, so be careful there. I only do tournaments when there aren’t a lot of survey opportunities and I’m trying to make goal.

Search- do it in the morning til you get a win, then in the afternoon, then in the evening. Ideally you’ll get 7+ each one so thats atleast 20 sb

Surveys- this is the bulk of my sb. some days I qualify for a lot, some days only a few. I have “ideal” demographics (urban living, young, female, 2 small kids, middle class, homemaker, grocery shopper) so I qualify for a lot of surveys. I will list the different sb survey panels out:

survey profiles-do this once for 32 sb. they help you qualify for other surveys.

email surveys- sign up. they email them to you. they are worth 2x the sb. If you don’t qualify for the original survey sometimes there is a second one you qualify for.

dashboard- this is the exact same thing as ipoll.com, and you can do both.

gold surveys- do these first thing in the morning, they seem to be first come first serve.

peanut lab surveys- these are worth 48+sb and usually take 15-20 minutes.

daily surveys- these are worth 60 sb each

Check back often on dashboard, gold surveys, peanut lab surveys, and daily surveys, because even once you complete them all, they will ad more through out the day.

I try to make atleast 500sb ($5) a day, but often I can get more. I do surveys before my kids get up and during their naps, and after they go to bed (good times for search wins too.) 500 sb roughly equates to qualifying and completing 10 surveys. With all the different survey opportunities, it never feels boring, plus I take breaks. The more you put in the more you get out of it.

I’ll post this is a new comment too.

Avon is a great way to make money from home you can earn as little or as much as you want, up to 3 figures! And it is incredibly inexpensive to join and you can make up to 50% commission!!! If you are interested in signing up you can go to Collin’s link and use representative code: hannika or go to http://www.startavon.com reference code: hannika or you can email me anytime and I will help you!

    • AMY

Jessica, you’re exactly right. You can make as little or as much as you want. I sell Avon but very part time. I mostly sell it so I can get me and my mom the discount. She sold it while I was growing up and she is my best customer. We love the products. I also have a few friends that buy from me occassionally. I like that you can get out of it what you put into it. I work full time already and am a single mom, so selling Avon is not my main focus and is more fun for me. It doesn’t seem like “work”. I highly recommend Avon.

  4. havacoke

    thanks 😉

  5. Jv

I work for Teleflora. I know they will be hiring for the Mother’s Day season in April. 1-800flowers hires for seasonal as well.

I am very happy @ teleflora. Been there since Xmas season. They have kept me on after the vday season so that’s always something to look forward.

Enterprise Rental Car also offers work at home opportunities. You take calls as a scheduler. Here is the link: https://careers.enterprise.com/

    • Lisa

What is the job title called as I don’t see for mn. Thanks!

        • Lisa

Thanks ann! Do you have experience? Or does anyone to speak about this opportunity, can a stay at home mom do it without being too committed?

          • nicole

Says must be able to work 40 hours per week.

            • Mandy

There are different options Nicole. Some are part time some are full time.
Lisa, It is requires you to be there during your work hours. If you are scheduled to work m-wed 8-5 you have to be there ON TIME. It is a great job, great benefits. I love it. You cannot just randomly work when ever you feel like it…

How do you do this? I would love more info Stacy Hughes!

      • Stacy

Hey Ashley! You are more than welcome to email me. Stacynhughes@gmail.com I signed up with a kit but it’s not entirely necessary although I highly recommend that you do. The least expensive kit includes 100 pieces of jewelry and everything else you would need to get your business started for $300. You can however start with fewer pieces and pay a $40 sign up fee (fee waived with kit purchase). The website to sign up to be an independent consultant is http://www.paparazziaccessories.com/18039 If you have any questions, please contact me 🙂

  8. Kerri R.

I am a mystery shopper, including some of the companies listed above, and I love it. No boss, you choose what assignments you want to take, and you get paid (or reimbursed) to give your opinion. I have done fast food locations, restaurants, gas stations, salons, hotels, stores, automobile shops, etc. You are by no means going to get rich but if you want to have a nice steak dinner for free (or something else) this is a simple way to do it (they reimburse you for the meal or purchase if you follow the guidelines of each shop). Some shops not only reimburse you for your service they will also pay you a nominal fee to file the report on time. Some reports or lengthy, story-telling reports, however, the majority of the ones I have done are yes/no questions and uploading pictures. If you need a referral to a legitimate mystery shopping company (and there are many…I have about 30 different companies I have worked with that I would recommend (kerrispecialk@gmail dot com). The down side is you have to apply to work for each company separately!

    • alikia29

What are your top favorite companies to work for? I would love to do this.

  9. txhrc4

Oh my gosh that picture is just too cute! I love the mother/daughter picture you found Collin. 🙂

  10. Aleshia

Please be careful when signing up for mystery shopping. It is a lot of work and little pay. You will be expected to pay up front and then be reimbursed at a later date. You will not be reimbursed for gas, taxes, and tips. Also, there are many scam websites that are made to look like the original. They send out high checks for thousands. When you cash it, it actually takes the money from your bank account. You should never be asked to pay a fee and never give out personal information like your bank acount of SSN. Please google and research these sites first. Some of them have very bad reviews.

    • Ashley57

One thing that is incorrect in this post is most companies will require your SS#. They have to for tax purposes, and if you make over $600 with one company, you will have to pay taxes on it (you should on all the money you make, but anyway). I think mystery shopping is a great way to supplement income or to earn a little extra. Check out MSPA (Mystery Shopping Providers Association) for legitimate opportunities.

    • theresa

Be very careful! I had one that was trying to get me to deposit my check from them first so I could pay the expenses and get paid, but something seemed wrong, so I told them I wasn’t interested. They proceeded to send threatening emails about legal measures and bodily harm. When I talked to state police I was told purple actually believe there can be legal ramifications and cash these checks, at which time you’re supposed to western union funds to someone else. (Western union is who you’re “secret shopping”), but what happens is you become responsible for the funds withdrawn when the check doesn’t clear. Don’t get scammed!

    • Brenda Ferguson-Calloway

I have been mystery shopping since 2004. I love it! I signed up for mystery shopping companies through volition.com.

    • Karen

I also have done mystery shopping. Definitely start with the MSPA site, you can get silver certified for a small fee but you don’t have to for jobs. Volition.com is also a good source site, you can find tons of info in the forum. I don’t mystery shop so much anymore but when I did I kept a separate checking account for that money so I could use it upfront for jobs and then direct deposit my pay afterwards. You could even find bank ‘shops’ to get paid to set up a checking account. I have also found jobs stocking greeting card racks at my local grocery store and doing gift card rack resets at CVS. Tons of opportunities if you live in a larger city. Check out NARMS website for merchandising jobs.

  11. barb

shopkick app allows you to get kicks (points) for walking into stores and sometimes even scanning new products on the shelves and you can choose a giftcard of your choice.

  14. Amy Lawson

I started with ItWorks 4 months ago and I’m loving it! A lot of people have not heard of it before but it’s the best company! Feel free to contact me with any questions! After my first month I was able to pay for my mortgage!! I am to stay at home with my 2 year old, which was really important to me! This month I’m going for a 10,000 bonus! I cannot tell you enough how much this has changed my life! I’m just an ordinary stay at home mom and now I’m able to do all those extra things for with the kids. Check it out http://www.daisywrapgirl.myitworks.com

    • rach

this comment almost seems spammy to me.

    • susan

may be its a dumb question but will u pls explain how you do it from home ?? dont you need to go out and meet people so you can sell the products !!

      • Amy Lawson

No this isn’t spam…I do 90% off my job at home! I do some events that are local, you can do spa nights with friends, so many options to do it the way you want! I just tell everyone I know about the products! This company is amazing you can research the company and how it is changing people’s lives everyday! They are giving out $10,000 bonuses, that I’m going after this month. The only reason I decided to do this is because I LOVED the products! I was saving up for a tummy tuck (stretch marks) and some lose skin from having 4 kids! My best friend made me try these crazy wrap things and I started crying because of my results! I LOVE this company and everything it is doing for my family. I just want to help other stay at home moms be able to do something that makes them feel better about themselves! Contact me and I will send you my before and after pics!

        • Aleshia

Those wraps are only temporary. Spas do them too. You pay a lot of money to have water weight squeezed out of you, but the minute that you drink a glass of water you put that weight and bloat right back on. If you want a permanent fix than you have to change you eating habits and exercise. This is only a 24 hour temporary quick fix.

      • Momof2

It’s not spam.. It’s a real company. I have done one of the wraps and liked it really well. But… Its like in home demos.. Like thirty one bags and all that. I don’t want a work at home job that takes me away from my family in the evenings.

        • Amy Lawson

Momof2 is correct this is a real company…our is not a quick fix and it is different then the ones you do in a spa! You don’t have to do parties! I’ve only done 3! I’ve had a lot of people contact me about wraps that I just meet while I’m out grocery shopping and basketball games with the kiddos!

          • theresa

Check out her website or mine http://www.theresachurch.myitworks.com , it’s legitimate. It’s not just wraps, it’s total wellness and most of your income will not come from actually “wrapping” people. The products are made to be used by the customer.

          • Aleshia

            Reviews state other wise.

            • theresa

Reviews are from personal experience of individuals, as with any cosmetic product the wraps will work differently for different people. Most people see results the first time, but it can take up to 4, which is why they’re see 4 in a box! But the wraps are the tip of the iceberg! The line is all natural, the vitamin supplements are whole food vitamins. The “relief” product is a glucosamine product to support joint health and ease discomfort. It’s a total wellness company. Thanks for looking into though, reading reviews is a good move. I hope you find an opportunity that fits your needs.

    • Lolita

Is this one of those that is Ponzi-ish in that the main goal is to get more reps referred by you, and then you get most of your money that way?

      • Lolita

        I meant pyramid scheme-ish..

        • HollyL

All sales jobs have some type of pyramid in the structure.

  15. deidre

I have been a mystery shopper for over 2 years and really enjoy it. It’s not a get rich quick scheme by any means, but I pick up shops a few times a month to make extra money. I have experience with other companies and can answer some questions if anyone wants to email me… Klaiberdm1 @ gmail.com

  16. Melony Thomas

Anyone have exp w/Gigwalk or taskrabbit?

    • LLL

I use Gigwalk. It’s legit and some jobs require more work than others but completely flexible. Check it out you have nothing to lose.

  17. theresa

    Check out it http://www.theresachurch.myitworks.com

Independent sales of body wraps, skin care, vitamins, supplements and more! Great legit opportunity. Who doesn’t want to look and feel better? It is sales, and there is an initial investment, but the starter kit has enough product to make it back right away!

  18. Sharon

I have used flexjobs.com . You have to pay a monthly fee , but they are legitimate jobs (not only telecommute but part time as well)

    • Paola

Hi, can you share a little more info? Are you able to easily find employment to make up for paying a monthly fee? Are there data entry positions?

  19. see

Theres also ipoll as other people commented!:) i earned 25$ on ipoll

  20. ACEskinnyYOU@gmail.com

I’ve lost over 40lbs and haven’t been healthier in my life! It wasn’t easy at age 40 and taking care of 7 kids. I earned enough money to quit my full-time union job and earn 3x that amount now. http://www.healthandwealthmovement.com I would love to help you on your journey.

This company sells an amazing service, Its a prepaid legal service that gives you access to legal consultation any time you need it. They will also make your will for you, handle tickets, and send letters or make phone calls when needed. This service is $19.95 /mnth. This company provides an honest residual income for those who work the business.

  23. Tori Bryant

    Mymaryandmartha.com/tes
Mary and Martha is a Christian company that allows women to get together and make money! They make simple entertainment pieces that all have scripture on them. I love their products and they are fun and easy to sell!

  24. Katrina

I am an Usborne Books and More rep and love it! There are no minimums or quotas to make (so it is truly flexible) and we do more than just home shows – we can sell to the school and library market doing book fairs and a reading incentive program. I love that I can sell something that my kids can use and love too, and the extra cash is a help to our budget.

  25. Rachel

I am so excited to see this post! I looked for about ten months for ANY position and never found one that worked for me. I have a masters degree too so I think that hurt me actually when applying for aide positions. Anywho- I gave up my intense search and an opportunity fell into my lap. I found out about Jamberry nails and fell in love! Seriously a fun company to work for! I didn’t know what to expect, but one of my first parties sold over $700! I have really gained a lot of confidence in myself too! I’ve been so blessed! If anyone is looking for a fun way to make money check out Jamberry. It really is a blast! I have free samples I can send you too! http://bejoyful.jamberrynails.net

  26. Kelly

I work with the direct sales company Origami Owl. You may have seen it recently on Good Morning America! I’m re-doing my house room by room off of my commission (you earn 30-50% which makes it one of the highest paying among the direct sales businesses)…and it is so much fun! Beautiful lockets and now earrings! This is the best time to sign up–they are just getting ready to launch their spring line! http://www.kellyrphillips.origamiowl.com My mentor ID is 54321 if you want to sign up! Email me at kellyrphillips@gmail.com if you would like to learn more!! I would love to talk to to you!

  27. Laura K

I have been a consultant with Thirty-One for almost 2 years. They have great products, awesome customer service / consultant help from the home office, a minimal investment to get started & low sales requirements to stay active. This is another business that is truly your own – you will get out of it what you put into it. Some people make their living as a consultant, where as it can be more of a hobby for others. I always tease that I’m in it to support my bag addiction! If anyone wants more info check out http://www.mythirtyone.com/laurakarcher.

  28. Lisa

Are there any work from home part time that does not include sales? Thanks!

    • Patty

Tutor.com isn’t sales. Collin listed it “for teachers”, but you don’t need any teaching credentials. (You do need a college degree or to be enrolled in college.)

If you like explaining stuff, check them out. I worked for them for several years, and it’s enjoyable work with flexible scheduling and decent pay.

  29. Susan Austin Domke

I would add http://www.e-rewards.com to the list. I have been doing online surveys for them for about 2 years. When my kids were little, I would trade in the points earned for game stop gift cards. Now, I use them for LaQuinta rewards points to earn free hotel rooms. It’s been well worth the little time it takes. : )

    • Malinda

How do you get and invitation to join erewards?

  30. Denise

I sell Usborne Books, educational and fun books for kids of all ages. I love the flexibility it provides for my Family. With no monthly sales minimums I can work when it suits me. Knowing that I’m providing good, educational books for my kids is something that makes me feel good. Also, I work with the schools in my Community and I love that its helping the education of the kids in my Community. Let me know if you would like more information or check out my website: http://www.qualitybooks4u.com
I LOVE what I do and you can too!!

  31. Marisol

    Just sharing my story:

I’ve worked with Willow now known as Alpine Access a few years ago. They are a work from home customer service company. If you like being on the phones and customer service in general then this will work for you. There is some investment that goes into training but it’s legit, at least there was a cost when I was doing it. I lived close enough to go on-site for trainings at the time – don’t know how it’s done when you’re not local although I’m sure it is.

I’ve also done LiveOps and West At Home too. I did these after having my second child. It’s nice to have the ability to work around your own schedule.

Speaking of trying things, I also tried Melaleuca….it’s too much selling stuff to make the cut monthly and recruiting people so they can sell and you receive benefits from that. I’m not into the whole pyramid recruiting thing so I got out.

  32. Leanne McKenzie

Solavei is a Direct Sales company with No Fees or inventory. Members move their mobile service for No Cobtract well priced service that saves you money. For each referral members are paid $5 every month and as your team grows monthly bonuses are also paid. I have earned over $20,000 in the past year. http://www.Solavei.com/LeanneMcKenzie

  33. Crazy About Coupons

Similarly to Avon, I sell Silpada jewelry. You can make as much or as little depending on your effort. Also I have friends who work from home. One is a legitimate massage therapist another works for a medical coding company.

  34. Joanna

My husband does tutor.com he’s been doing it for years. Its a nice way to earn extra money. He picks when he starts and stops. Not very active in the summer months and during school vacation times. You tutor kids, young adults and adults. He’s happy with it and plans to continue doing it.

    • Bizymom

Please explain the tutoring. Is it done online or in person???

      • Patty

The tutoring is done online by typing and drawing in a classroom program. I used a pen tablet to write equations and it worked well. They were also introducing voice chat around the time I left.

  35. Totally Sweet Math Centers by Tabitha

I’m a teacher and I make math games, centers, and activities for teachers and homeschool families. I’m actually typing this message on the new Macbook Pro I purchased this week from my profit! Check out my store when you have a chance, I specialize in math activities for grades k-4. https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Totally-Sweet-Math-Centers-By-Tabitha

    • ashley

Wow I make and sell these on etsy! How can I get started by selling them on teachers pay teachers? Thank you for sharing!

  36. crystal

Thank you so much for this helpful post Collin. I am a stay at home mom and im always looking for ways to earn money. I love reading all of the comments here.

  37. Kelly

Another survey site that Collin didn’t mention is Survey Savvy. I’ve been using them for about 7 years and have received several checks. Each survey can be completed for between $1-$15. They send you an email when they have a survey for you, I usually get about 5 a week or so. They may also send you opportunities to join focus groups, I joined one for a computer operating system (to test marketing ideas on college students) and they sent me an amazon gift card every month. Once you have enough to send the check (the minimum is $1) it takes about a month to come, but it’s a nice supplement to my paychecks. They do take people as young as 16. Please use my link if you can!

    My link is: https://www.surveysavvy.com/?m=3454845

I wasn’t into lotions, potions or parties. But my friend introduced me to feedmehealthypetfood.com and I am having a GREAT time introducing people to healthy pet products. 70% of people in America have a dog or a cat and they LOVE talking about them, like first time parents talk about their kids. And most really care about what they feed them. They are also often surprised to learn it is cheaper than what they are already using… and more nutritious! I was HUGE into couponing, but I love this company and this business!

I have worked at home for over 7 years doing customer services for various companies through Arise (www.arise.com) I love it.

Is it sales? Do you call people from list or do you have to find and cold call people?

For a little extra cash try receipt hog! Its simple just take a quick picture of your grocery receipt and u get coins. Once you get a certain number of coins you can redeem for cash or amazon gift cards. I’ve never done the cash but the amazon giftcard codes are emailed to you the next day or so. That extra amazon money is great for one those deals Collin posts.

My husband and I recently joined with a company known as Genesis Pure. They sell amazing wellness products and also have a pretty cool referral program. You get compensated for helping grow their company by referring others to their products. If anyone is interested look it up at livingthepurelife.com. There is a video on the main page by Jared Burnett that describes what the company sells and how it works from a business stand point. If anyone is interested you can e-mail me at staci.rademacher@yahoo.com and I can answer any questions and get you in contact with my sponsor.

This might be a long shot, but does anyone know of work from home positions in the medical field? I’m a lisenced pharmacist but a sahm right now and really want to put my degree to use in anything medical related but I have to be at home. Thanks in advance.

    • Rachel

Pharmchick, maybe check out wgu.edu-they have good, legit at home jobs and their medical programs are growing-I am not sure if they have pharmocology, but it might be worth a shot! http://www.wgu.edu

Try Express Scripts! Some of them are WFH

I’ll add in here a few options. I work for Educate Online (have for 7 years), which is an online tutoring company. I work part time, hours are very flexible, and its very legit. Downsides: scheduling is based on student needs, so it tends to be very cyclical and there’s no guarantee of hours; as with most teaching jobs, pay isn’t awesome, but it is good for extra money. You have to have a current teaching certificate to apply. Their website is https://www.educate-online.com/ and they are hiring a ton right now!

I also work part time from home as an adjunct faculty member for Western Governors University. I am an evalutor in the teacher’s college. Pay is better here. This is a fantastic employer to work for, and the college itself is amazing. Their website is http://www.wgu.edu. They require a masters degree minimum, hours are very flexible, pay is pretty good (hourly); great support system and amazing work environment (yes, I realize its from home, but the online rapport with management/colleagues is fantastic). Downsides-its hard to get in. It took me a year of applying like crazy and the interview process was lengthy.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions. rachel.lautenschlager@educate-online.com or rachel.lautenschlage@wgu.edu (take off the last “r” on my last name if you are inquiring about WGU).

Y’all must have some very good friends! I tried Avon and hardly made a dime 🙁 I may try the Jamberry nails though.

    • Rachel

Sandra! Jamberry has been incredible! Seriously can’t put into words how much it has blessed me! If you don’t have anyone to talk to about the company email me. I’d love to share any I have with you! Super super neat company! Rachel.fickenscherATgmail.com

I sell Origami Owl jewelry. You can make extra money easy, as long as you don’t go overboard buying too much inventory. If you sell straight from the inexpensive starter kit, you can make a lot of money fast!

I have been doing Gift Hulk for the past month in conjunction with Swagbucks….I have made $40 so far this month in Amazon Gift Cards and once you hit the level of having earned $50 in gift cards, they give you a $10 gift card for free! It’s great extra spending money and I have found that it’s quicker/easier than Swagbucks in earning gift cards. (It also gets you your rewards faster…just a day or two turnaround and I have my gift card. Check it out! https://www.gifthulk.com/invite/JF518911
