Did you know that if you bring in your empty starbucks coffee bag to a Starbucks, you will get a free cup of coffee?
If it says on the side of the bag that you can exchange it. Not all the bags will say that you can.
They will give you a Tall cup of coffee at Starbucks; Stand-Alone stores. I went into one at a Target-Starbucks and they would not honor that deal about the “Free” coffee.

I have a stupid question. I am making a chocolate cake from scratch and it calls for instant espresso or a cup of coffee. I don’t drink either and have no idea what to buy or what the difference is. Would this Starbucks coffee work for this recipe, or do I need to buy some other kind of coffee??? I know stupid question, but I’m desparete.
Since you don’t usually buy coffee, I suggest you buy a small jar of instant coffee, a three pack of Starbucks Via instant coffee or something similar. Then you can have it in your pantry to use anytime a baking recipe calls for coffee.
You could always just go to mcdonalds or a gas station and get a small brewed coffee. That is what I have done before when I don’t have any.
The Folgers sticks work fantastic and are very inexpensive. You can even get them in decaf if the caffeine is an issue for you 🙂
Barb, i usually but the tasters choice single cup sticks, they come in boxes of 5 i think and only cost around $2, i usually just dump two sticks in any of my chocolate recipes its makes them taste deeper richer chocolatier
Dollar general has them for $1 and there are 6 sticks per box.

If you have WinnDixie near you, their K-cup boxes are $5.99 each (any brand!!) and instant $5 discount when you but 5!! So a Starbucks K-cup box is $4.99 minus $2 coupon = $2.99 per box!!! Yum!
My Target had Starbucks Coffee on clearance for $4.88 I bought 3 and got the five dollar gift card and used $6.00 in coupons.So I got 3 bags for 3.64!
My target also had a clearance on some Starbucks coffee! They were marked down to $5.58, I bought 3 and used a $2/2 paper coupon and got the $5 gift card! $9.74 for all 3!
