Deedee, for the past 2 days I have been getting a lot o pop ups and pages opening in new tabs for no apparent reason. I also got one for visiting hip2save.com but I freaked out right away. I checked the “settings”, “show advanced settings” and I didnt have my “block pop ups” checked (probably I unchecked it for a specific coupon and forgot to check it back on). Anyways, I fixed it that way and I havent got any more weird ads. Good luck!

I did the old spice deal a few weeks back and didn’t get the RR due to my total not being 20 after my MC. Was that right?
No. RR totals are calculated before coupons. Most likely you were a few pennies short or you grabbed something that was not part of the offer. Occasionally the RR doesn’t print if the machine has an issue or if it’s out of paper. If you verify that you bought participating items, had a total amount equal to/over the RR qualifying amount and should’ve received the RR, you can contact them here:

I have never earned Happy Cash before at Walgreens. I have collected $50 in points. If I cash in my points, will I earn Happy Cash?

Yes you can use points and still earn happy cash. (It’s just like jingle cash during the holiday season!) but you can not use points and earn points in same transaction. Same goes with happy cash.
For the stores that next weeks deals kick in at 5ish today, will the RR print as well? Or do we just get the sale prices?
RRs will not print until the first day of the ad (Sunday).

I have a $3/2 Herbal Essences coupon (exp 4/30) that was in the paper two weeks ago I believe. Im debating using it with this deal or waiting. I never seem to use my walgreens rewards because the cashiers never ask if you want to redeem like they do when I shop at Kmart so I don’t remember. I think I have heard that if you redeem points on a transaction that you cant earn any on that same transaction, is that correct?
Yes, if you pay with points you can’t earn points for that transaction.

Yes. Walgreens allows you to use a BOGO or free coupon on a BOGO sale. Rite Aid is the only drugstore whose coupon policy doesn’t allow it.
Heads up all you Dawn users, today I saw a brand new bottle of 9 ounce Dawn that had a yellow ribbon banner across top saying trial size…. So you may want to stock up on the older labelled bottles while you still can… Someone had mentioned this may be happening so I was not totally surprised BUT I was sad. We use Dawn at our house and I liked being able to get it so cheaply.
Thanks for the heads up. I love the little bottles. As a couponer, I realize it’s not the best deal per ounce to buy the smaller ones. But it’s the perfect size for my sink, and I hate when the larger bottles get all goopy on top!
I read that too, and thought it was a rumor. Then I was reading another board and someone came across the dawn bottles (at Dollar General, or maybe Family Dollar) with the Trial Size label across it. I’m pretty shocked and if they change all the scents to “trial size”, I will quit using Dawn. IMHO, 9 oz is much to big to qualify as “trial”. I wonder if anyone brought it up on their FB page? I’m sure their wall will explode with unhappy people.

you gotta watch out on those. Apparently wags just changed they policy on that i found out when we have the 5000 extra points when you spend 25$ from last weeks meaning they just got them after all the coupons but i havent found any policy on that yet so my wags gave me those extra points. Just look if you really get it.
is there a trick to changing your zip and state on coupons.com? It keeps telling me state and zip must match and goes back to what i originally had.
If its the 66044 or the 77477 zip codes make sure you have the State as Texas….if that doesn’t work then I’m not sure why

Example:
I want to buy the Nivea lip care 2/$5 and there is a $2/2 Wags coupon in the March booklet. I also have (4)$1.50 RR to use. Will the following scenario work?
Buy (4) Nivea lip care at 2/$5 = $10
Use $2/2 Wags coupon (will deduct $4)
Use (4)$1.50 RR (will deduct $6)
Total cost: FREE
will that work? Or will I have more coupons than items? I guess im just not sure if the walgreens coupons are included in that rule

Yes, that should work. The wags coupons don’t count. Only 1 mfg coupon per item…RR counts as mfg.

Your Chex/Gardettos/Bugles deal seems off just slightly. If they’re 2 for $3, and you use one .50/2, wouldn’t it be $1.25 each, not $1.00 each?

I tried to do the old spice deal today. I got one deodorant , a body spray, a box of nice and easy hair color and root touch up and the Olay wash wash. My total was 24 and some change , 13 after coupons. It did not produce the RR . The manager told me it was because it had to be the total after coupons. Makes me angry. I asked why is that suddenly the case? It’s never been that way? She said maybe the computer messed up all those times. I will be emailing the corporate office just to clarify things, for her or me .this is one of many reasons why I had shopping there
I tried to do this deal today too and did not get the RR. I think it was the Old Spice deodorants because mine didn’t ring up Bogo50% off. Anyway, it was a big mess. But the register too off the full amount on both the body sprays (instead of 50% less on one) so I just let it be. It wasn’t terrible after everything was said and done. Not worth the hassle to return everything.

I bought the correct Old Spice deodorants/sprays (everything rang BOGO) and the RR didn’t print. The manager was really nice about it and rang everything without coupons to see if it would print. It still didn’t. I just filled out my request with Catalina to try to get my $5.
I wish I would have had her do this.
