I just saw this advertisement on http://www.poopourri.com. You can get a free sample, but pay $3.99 S&H. I thought you would enjoy the ad. 🙂 It made me think of the “I pooped today” shirts you advertise.
Thanks, Collin! This has been on my son’s wish list for some time. Perfect for his 4th birthday!
Great Easter basket filler. Thanks!
Bought one for my three year old Thomas fan and one for the gift closet. Thank you for posting this deal!
Does anyone know of a train table with screw in tracks so my 2 yr old can’t pull the track apart. We saw the thomas the tank one at toys r us but it all came seperate… didn’t know if one came all together
I had the same problem. Got this table. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Step2-Canyon-Road-Table-Lid/4837473 Also works with Hot Wheel cars. I went from a 240 dollar train tablehttps://www.yoyo.com/p/kidkraft-metropolis-train-table-and-set-36957 to this one from Walmart because he couldn’t keep the tracks together. He still plays with both now at age 7 but the plastic one was the favorite from ages 2-5.
I bought the Imaginarium mountain rock train table at TRU for 119 and it comes with 100 parts and the thomas wooden trains also work with it. It does not screw together but once put together I used wood glue to hold it in place. So far has held up to my 3 and 4 year old since December.
What a great idea about the wood glue. My son had the imaginaruim table when he was little and he would demolish the track all the time. The table is still in great condition and ready for my youngest once he’s old enough. I will definitely be gluing the track down with him! Great tip!
I’m torn between gluing down a track and building and rebuilding with my twin toddlers. I think gluing them down might inhibit creativity and problem solving/building skills.
I completely see your point! Our 2 yr old likes taking apart the tracks but he loves more building the tracks. I feel that he takes it apart as part of a game so that we can put it back again. Yes exhausting for the parent but given that the tracks can be put together in different ways, it does inhibit lots of creativity and problem solving skills. The idea of gluing/screwing the tracks down reminds me of the message behind the Lego Movie.
