* I was also able to price match right at the register! The cashier stated that you no longer have to go to guest services!!

Total for second transaction should have been $14.92 (+ tax) – however, it ended up being $16.52 and I am still trying to figure out why… LOL! 😉 I then used the $20 in gift cards to pay and still have a couple of dollars left to spend on one of the gift cards!

Final cost for second transaction = $0

Total for both transactions = under $25 … and keep in mind that the four allergy medicines alone typically go for well over $25, so to get those AND all of the additional items for under $25 = Coupon Superstar! Yay me! 😉

Collin check your receipt i noticed the Dry Idea coupons come off at 1.50 (even if they are marked at 2?) and these were scanned before the Target coupon why i have no clue. So that could be why your total is higher .

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yep – that’s exactly what happened! Thank YOU!

      • Spacecasegirl

Your welcome! I asked the cashier and she was ugh i don’t know…she was nice so i didn’t press it also waited in a line..state holiday here when i went (Monday).

    • maja

      happened to me also:-)

    • Jennifer A

That happened to me too, and the cashier actually caught it and changed it to the $2 it was supposed to be!! I wrote a great comment card for her! 🙂

      • michelle

Yay for a positive comment! Too many times people only give negative and don’t equally give positive.

  2. angel

Went to Walgreens today and had Dove coupons from newspaper inserts a week or so ago. Scored 8 Dove products (Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave-In Conditioner, etc.) For $8 PLUS for every 2 Dove products I got 2,000 points! So really it was free after my rewards!! I was beyond excited at how it all worked out!

  3. Leslie

    Awesome job!! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks! 🙂

  4. Jamia

I did the Right Guard and Dry Idea deals earlier today. On my Target receipts, most MQs show up right under corresponding item. When I got home, I realized that one of the Dry Idea and both Right Guard MQs rang up at $1.50 off instead of $2 off. If yours did the same thing, that might be why your total is $1.50 more. I’m thinking about taking my receipt to customer service next time I go, but not sure they will do anything since I didn’t notice before I left when they could have grabbed all the coupons I used from the register.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, that is what happened to me. Thanks for passing along this info. It does appear the coupons did not scan at the correct values… how odd. And geez, this is the most confusing receipt I have looked at in a while! 😉

      • Amy T

Target receipts are so confusing! Some things ring up as “package deals” but all identical items aren’t always in the package. I think they do it on purpose so it’s harder to figure out when something doesn’t scan correctly. Good job on the deals!

  5. Carmen

That’s so awesome!!! I’m just a little jealous. My local target is so coupon unfriendly. I don’t even try these deals anymore. It’s like they have trained the entire staff to fear coupons. If I have one or two coupons, I don’t worry too much. They can usually handle that–anymore, forget it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      I’m sorry to hear that 🙁 …

I seem to get cashiers at Target lately that are rooting me on – which is awesome!

  6. Lisa

How long does the gift card deal on Mucinex last?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Through 4/5.

      • Lisa

        Thanks Collin

  7. Tonya

    Good job!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks, Tonya! 🙂

  8. Raelynn

Maybe some of your cartwheel offers didn’t come off? Sometimes it happens to me. I’m heading to target tomorrow.

  9. Erin

Yup. The four deodorant coupons deducting $1.50 rather than $2 each would put your order off by $2.

  10. KP

If you have one of the cereal boxes with the $15 in coupons, one that prints off is $1 off of the Bear Naked granola for an even better deal!

    • drea

What boxes are those coupons in

      • Kp

Mine was a box of Krave that said on the outside $15 in coupons inside code and had some Olympic athletes on the box. You have to type the code on the Kellogg’s rewards site and they email you a link right away for the coupons to print. You can print them twice, but have to print all 5 pages, you can’t pick which ones you want to pick. HTH!

        • kathleen

are the coupons red plum coupons or bricks coupons

  11. annie

heads up: the q-tip coupon on the target site now reads .75 cents off of the 170 count q tips. (i just printed it)
i swear target gets a wind of a good deal and changes the coupon wording and or sizes..
i have noticed this on many target coupons. once they realize customers are getting a good deal, they reword the coupon with less cents off or the size changes. bummer.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Darn! 🙁 Just updated.

  12. Junetta

Awesome deals 🙂 I went to Target on Sunday and got 4 12 packs of diet dr pepper, ( used 3 of the $1/1 coupons since I have 3 computers in my house I was able to print 3 ) 4 right guards 2 angry bird go game things 3 packs of the pecan wheel snack cake things and the nerf deal and was excited to watch my bill go from $71.44 to $19.05 after coupons and cartwheel 🙂

  13. Liz

Where did u get the granola coupon from?

  14. Erin

Oooh! Kelloggs had an awesome Cat on its cereal that just ended. I stocked up at less than .50 a box. Even so, that cereal deal is still tempting me because Fruit in the Middle is my husband’s favorite cereal and $1/box is pretty good, too!

  15. Kristen

Don’t forget the checkout 51 frosted mini-wheat deal. $1/2 any variety. I won’t be taking advantage of this as I bought too much cereal this week with our HyVee general mills deal. I got them for $1/box after coupons!

  16. Lyndie

The Q-tip coupon is for 170 count or larger for me— they must have caught on to the good coupon deal 🙂

  17. Melissa

Checkout 51 has $1 back for 2 mini wheats.

  18. Nicole

Does anyone know if Target will price match the $2.99 online price for the Seventh Generation Dish soap? I noticed price drop on-line when I was checking if my stores nearby had the soap back in stock.

    • Jacky

I asked about the online price match and was told I could either price match or get in store deal of buy 4 get 1 free, I did the latter.

  19. Shawnda

Thank you for posting about Peppa the Pig. I have so many birthday parties to attend in the next month and I depleted my gift stash! Due to your amazing deals, I have quite a rep on giving out fabulous gifts.

  20. dealhousewife

plus, if you’re a kelloggs rewards member, i had a $1/2 coupon for mini wheats recently. and not too long ago, a $1/2 for any K cereal. hth!

  21. Laura

Thats what happened with my deodorant coupons today too 🙁
I didn’t notice until I got home- over 2 hours later. Then when I called the store I got a guy who was very rude…but I’m gonna take my receipt back in the next couple of days and see if they’ll do anything about it. Except now I don’t have the coupons to prove that they should have been $2 apiece…

  22. Laura

Hip2Save is AWESOME! I love Hip2Save! Hip2Save is the best coupon site in the universe.

    • Laura

Haha I do COMPLETELY agree with the above post and think it’s awesome and hilarious, what I was trying to say was I wish there was a “like” button to these posts sometimes 🙂

  23. megan

Hip2Save is AWESOME! I love Hip2Save! Hip2Save is the best coupon site in the universe.

  24. jessika

    Great deals! !! 🙂

  25. Jenny

I always get so jazzed about the coupon deals and then tax rolls into the equation and jacks my high… Lol

    • Edie

Just move to Oregon or New Hampshire and you won’t have to worry about sales tax anymore. 😉

  26. NC Cy

i will go tomorrow and do this deal 🙂 however there is a 5/1 mucinex coupon from 2 weeks ago so heads up that in my case works since im not able to print the 2/1 target mucinex i sent it to a printer that i no longer have and lost them :(. Also will be really cautious while they scan my coupons. its happened to me several times. i just hand them one at a time now. people just pick up their things and switch lines lol

  27. Emily

    Mmm coconut greek yogurt.

  28. Sarah

I have a target question. I bought the ergo baby carrier last week using the deal you posted (great deal). However my little guy is not digging the carrier so I was considering returning it. The carrier cost $115. I used a $20 off 100. Then I received a $20 gift card. If I return it will I get $95 or $75 (because of the gc)

    • Tilla Ham

      Hip2Save

      • Tilla Ham

95 if you returned the unused giftcard as well…75 if you don’t

    • Amy

@sarah if you have a under 6mo then give ergo a chance. We love ours and still put our 37 pound 5 yr old in it.

    • Laura

I agree with Amy. Don’t give up on it yet. My baby hated it but when she got a little bigger and I had a 3 yr old and an 18 month old it was priceless. Got so many comments being able to wrangle both kiddos.

  29. Krystal

Awesome job Collin !! You rock. Thanks for making today a fun April fools as well!!! Lots of laughs 🙂

  30. Megan

I received a pharmacy coupon book in the mail. Included among other Q’s was a $5/$20 health purchase. I used this on the mucinex deal instead of the $2 TQ. Makes for an even better deal!

  31. Denise

Don’t use Cartwheel on the bleach, it deducted 10 cents, then my coupon did not apply because it had to be $1.00 or more. I paid .90 for bleach that I thought would be free.

    • Jane

All coupons should be deducted before scanning Cartwheel the registers are set up this way.

    • steph

Cashier should have known that one, Cartwheel is always scanned last.

  32. jenny bosse

    wow I wish I had a target:p

  33. Meg

Got Peppa Pig for my daughters birthday coming up we love Peppa here 🙂

  34. shami

I bought 2 Nabisco Wheat thins last day .The same products in the picture above but the mobile coupons did not apply on it.

  35. Melissa

At my Target, kids Vitacoco juice boxes are priced at 2/6$ and each box has a free 8$ Hollywood movie code to see Rio2. It seems like an excellent deal to me!

    • Sophie

Thanks for the tip! At my target they were $4.00 each (reg.$4.99), only Gabi’s Pink Lemonade and Blu’s Berry Beach had the movie codes. Great deal!

  36. Tera

heads up I got a 1$ coupon from Kelloggs (for the Bear naked products)for entering a Olympics code off a box.. Makes for a sweet deal

  37. steph

Thanks for posting the Mucinex deal Collin. Went first thing this morning and it all worked fine. I was able to do 2 transactions, got 2 giftcards and cartwheel worked without any problems also. (I have had issues in the past with Cartwheel.)

  38. jen1022

how do you use two different mobile target q’s? Just scan one and bring up the other? And that works?

    • rob

      Yes that works.

  39. Stacey Adams

if 3 of the boxes of cereal are free, is it okay to use 2 $1/3 coupons? I didn’t know we could use coupons on free items at target.

  40. KAT

Can’t you use two Target Mucinex coupons and two MQ? You are buying two of them…..

    • Stacey Adams

Should be able to. I got my two prints.

    • Michelle

fine print of the target q’s usually state one per customer which is why Colin didn’t add it.

  41. Saffa

I figured out which barcode is scanning as $2 thanks to my awesome cashier this morning! I asked her to scan the barcode that starts with a 5 first and it took off $1.50, then i asked her to please void it and scan the other barcode without the numbers (the first one) she scanned it and sure enough it took off $2 🙂 So she scanned all 4 coupons using that barcode (2 for right guard and 2 for dry idea) and all of them took $2 off 🙂

  42. Johanna

I just came from target and I found in clearance the Claritin reditabs 10 tablets at $5.64, i bought 2 boxes, I used 2 $2 coupons and the cartwheel 10% and my final price was $6.16 and it generate the gift card for $10.

  43. shelaghc

Is anyone else having problems with coupons on the Target website? I keep clicking on them, but they vanish when I go to the next screen. Tried printing from the same page while the coupon was still showing as clipped and got a message “please select a coupon.”

Even tried changing browsers – no joy.

    • T Evans

Yes it is driving me insane today. bummer

  44. Jenn

Last week a Riteaide near me had Flipeez hats for only $4.99…a great deal. My son was very happy

  45. Jenn

My Dollar General had little kids makeup and body gel sets at 90%off…I stocked up for the next three gift events and sent some off as presents to nieces/nephews.

  46. Gina

My target had the Claritin 10 ct ready tabs clearanced at $4.98. It didn’t generate a gc but I asked about it and the manager did it. She ended up taking the $10 off the order making it free. I don’t think she wanted to but there were no 10ct tabs at 9.99. I felt bad and didn’t push it trying to use my 2 coupons lol

  47. Cara

Just a heads up on the Peppa Pig deal….

I went in and (my Indiana store) wouldn’t let me use a coupon in conjunction with the ad match. They stated the policy is to honor whichever is the better deal – coupon or price match, but you can’t combine them.

That is my store, but I thought it would be wise for fellow shoppers to call and check their store before going out for it.

    • Rudy

You should pull out the ad match policy for them. It clearly states that you can do both. They can’t change corporate policy and if you show them the policy, they have to honor it.

    • Angel

If anyone is interested, ToysRUs will also price match the DVD and allow you to use the coupon 😄

  48. JStokes

I dont know if it was posted but I just went to target and did a deal with the quilted northern. They have the 30 double roll pack at $15 buy 2 get $10 gc. I got 2 used the 15% cartwheel took off $4.50 the mobile coupon took $1 off and coupons.com had a $1.50 mq of for 12 rolls or more used 2.
$30-$4.50-$3-$1= $21.50 and you get a $10 gc making it $11.50 for 120 single rolls, thats .09 cents a rolls or .18 a double roll.

  49. michelle

Got so much of this stuff today with this deal… so excited! Thanks

  50. Pearl

WOW..awesome Collin..I used to think that this all happened in extreme couponing series but it makes believe that for real!
