How do you only apply a certain dollar amount of points, last time I tried it took all my points?
When u click on redeem my reward points..jus under that u will see ‘change points’ there u can enter the number of points u want to redeem like for $9 u add 9000 points there…hope thus helps

I had no problem using $8.44 in points and i earned $10.08 in points as well! I paid $1.66 and earned $10.08 for a moneymaker of $8.42! WooHoo
Did you actually get $10 in points? In the “details” of the coupon there is an exclusion of Hot Buy items and these gloves are listed as a hot buy in its special offers description as well as the price breakdown.

People on another forum have been using it on $10 purchases and getting $10 in points then using those points to do the offer over and over. This deal is not going to last long as I’m sure Kmart or Sears is going to notice the mistake soon.And people that abuse the deal could risk setting their accounts in the negative or locked.I’m tempted but I’m afraid the minute I make a purchase will be when they decide to kill the deal and not reward the points.

I would so agree with you any other day! But today I am just tired of Kmart/ Sears canceling my orders! I’m still waiting for a refund back inFebruary. Since it looks like I won’t get, this code will (not even closely) make it up (to what I spent). And…. That’s why they got IT and marketing people and computers! If every other sites manages to Run their sites, then Sears/ Kmart will so do too! And before you go at me with company will change everything because of this and that, I can tell and prove numerous occasions that the right coupon was loaded and I still got – how does my little boy say it?- nothing, that means zero, nada! I honestly go only shopping there because of the points I’ll get for free, even that doesn’t happen also my hubby spent over $4,000.00 last year (against my rebellion). I think it’s actually anything you buy and use this code at the same time. And I confirmed today with a syw customer service person–it is $10 back on a $10 purchase (not $20).

I placed my order and used a little over $1 in my smy rewards and I was awarded $10 in points! Right after I placed my order on the right side of the screen there was a banner saying that I earned the points. These will make good Father’s Day gifts.
Better check your SYW account…oftentimes the indicated points on a Sears receipt doesn’t actually match up in the main SYW account.
Just made my purchase to use up the $5.00 gift card that expires tomorrow. Paid $6.78 said I would be awarded the 10,000 pts however they dont show in my account. Oh well still got my girls each a pair of sandles. Im happy 🙂
Hey Collin I think you should take this code off because it’s probably a glitch like those blenders you posted about 3 months ago and we never got points for. First sears awards you the points and then they take it out of the account without our permission
And if you spend the points before they take it back your account will be -10,000 points.
Is it really gonna be negative cuz I just made like 6 purchases and rolled the points for each purchase and now for the last one I didn’t get my points so what’s gonna happen now
That happened to me with the storage bins about a month or so ago. They took 20000 🙁
I believe the post is fine how it is. We should know that almost all the deals posted here are going to be limited to one per person or household, & anything you try to get beyond that is done at your own risk. I don’t think there’s anything encouraging people to go get a 2nd pair of gloves free on her post….it just says you’ll earn 10,000 more points with the free glove transaction/purchase. If we try to do the deal again (a 2nd time or more) w/ the points, like I said, I think that’s at our own risk & it’s our responsibility to decide if the manufacturer/retailer would consider it against their rules & penalize us somehow.
Just did it a minute ago and I only got 220 points. Not sure if it’s over or if it’s different for each member. Just my luck that I’d miss out on the $10 though 🙂

I usually skip over the SYW offers you post, but I happened to be filing my boyfriend’s receipts (for the hundreds of tools he buys each year) the other day looked at a Sears purchase, where I saw that he used a SYW reward member number (which was shocking that he even had 1, & even more shocking he remembered to use it!) Hmmm…so I did 1 purchase & got them free, did a 2nd purchase the exact same way (including entering SYWPTS10 in the promo code box) & got the 2nd pair free, but it did not apply the 10,000 points for the 2nd purchase (to use on a potential 3rd purchase of these gloves, or even just to have the 10,000 points in my account.) But hey, no complaints here AT ALL…just letting others know how it worked for me.

I used a $10 free giftcard and it did show i was getting 10000 pts back too! I paid .68 and getting back $10, $9.32 mm for me. My hubby and i go through garden and workshop gloves like crazy so this is awesome for us!
