So I ran into my Family Dollar this morning and at at the front was a $2 clearance section. They had 2pc Doc McStuffin outfits for $2 for toddlers, older girl shirts (up to size 14/16) and leggings for $2, some boy items, and women’s scrubs and long sleeve tops.
Then I overheard them saying oh it says all clothes buy one get one 50% off [through May 5th]. When I went to checkout, all my clearance rang up buy one get one 50% off. I paid $1 for a 2pc Doc McStuffin outfit 3T! Even sweeter, there is a mobile coupons code that is still working this morning: code is 35509 and it will give you $3 off $15. I had trouble hitting $15 because everything was ringing BOGO for $1.
I ended up with 10 pieces of girls clothing, four 2 Pepsi brand liters (they are 4 for $5 and my store had $0.50 off 2 tags on the 2liters) and 1pk of chocolate milks for $1 (subtotal $15.50 🙂 ). My receipt said I saved 16.80! I had to share! My store also had beautiful maxi dresses $8 for women and chevron flip flops for $1. [/h2s_box]

I called the store this morning to confirm that code, but I don’t know if they might have deactivated it. It was working this morning at 9:00 am. Fingers Crossed! Everyone gets lots of bargins! 🙂

I called my local Family Dollar store this morning and the cashier told me that the coupon code was still active, so you may be able to just mention the code at checkout. I accidentally went to DG too and found a ton of deals marked 1 dollar (all gray stars, dots and blue dots) but they rang up at 1 cent!

Really a penny! I picked up some last week and now I might go check again!
In my DG store – when things ring up for a penny – they won’t let me buy it. They said that means that they are not for sale (and cashier admitted that they get dumped in the dumpster). I asked if I can have it anyway and they refused. Sometimes there are great deals at DG but the customer service there is the pits.
They won’t let me buy penny clothes either. They said they give them to Gleaner’s food bank. I hope it’s true and they’re not going to the trash.
I saw three dollar skirts in my size at my store today.they have lots of kids clearance.i did get a outifit fleece batman for my son for 4 dollars the other day.

i called the DG in sun prairie wi, (since the one in mcfarland isn’t picking up phone all day today even though it is closer to me- maybe out of business?) and the cashier who answered said that if any clothes ring up for a penny they must be Pulled and NOT SOLD…interesting….
