It looks like on the first aid bag it says purchase 3 first aid products?
I’m thinkin’ that may be from a previous promo they’ve had… but this time it is with the purchase of just two (as stated in the weekly ad). Hope that helps!
Where do you find the bags in the store?
There should be an endcap display with the products and case. At one store there was a display right on the main cosmetic aisle and back by the first aid items. Another store just had one display by the pharmacy.
What is Hydrogen peroxide used for
it is used for cleaning wounds like scrapes, burns, etc, you can clean out your ears with it, you can use it for teeth whitening, or mouthwash. You can also use it as a general house cleaner, there are lots of different “recipes” to make with it as far as cleaning goes, it’s very multi-purposeful, you can find something to use it for lol ๐ hope this helps!
It’s not recommended for cleaning wounds anymore, because it causes damage to tissue.
It is a great laundry aid, though. It will remove blood from fabric if you pour it directly on and let it bubble until the fabric is clean. We found out that tip from an older woman at church one year after our daughter skidded on her knees across the asphalt in her all-white dress.
You can also use it to remove blood from clothing. Found this out this past winter when my son had chronic nose bleeds.
My mom uses it to whiten her teeth (like as a mouthwash). Her dentist suggested this.
Is the first aid bag empty? I am wondering because it says “build your own” on the paper sleeve.
Yes its just a bag
Here’s a recipe for a laundry stain remover using peroxide: https://www.themakeyourownzone.com/2013/03/homemade-stain-remover-another-success-story-2.html
Works great!
I got a great deal on a first aid bag from Target yesterday doing the $20 Visa allergy rebate: $8-something total for two Benedryls, a box of Kleenex, and a box of large, waterproof Band Aids, plus free first aid kit with purchase of three first aid items, and I’ll get the gift card. The first aid kit was nice and sturdy but it smells strongly of plastic/vinyl, so I’m going to have to see if it airs out!
I also saw the J&J first aid kits that CVS had last year on clearance at Kroger for $1. It was a pretty cheap/flimsy bag, BUT they had super high value Qs, so worth it for that!
I don’t really use hydrogen peroxide. I purchased two 30 count Walgreen’s brand bandage strips instead. I earned 1000 points (500 a piece) They are 2/$5.00. It helped that I had some RRs to just pay sales tax! ๐
I got hydrogen peroxide 16 oz. bottles x2 + free first aid kit pouch + 2 hersheys bars for a whopping $3.56 w/wellness card at walgreens. Total savings was $5.70 (62%). Thanks!
My wags store has the 32 oz (2/$3) BOGO 1/2 off ending up cheaper than small bottle ($1.19 ea) & get free bag
The small one was 1.19 at my store and was not bogo but the bigger one was 1.69 and that one was bogo.
Did this today with the bigger bottle! Worked like a charm thank you collin.
