Just wanted to remind everyone that the $10 off $25 can not be used on the deal of the day or doorbusters. That includes much of the store including it looks like most if not all of the clearance clothing according to their ad this time. Each time is a little different but they have been making their clearance part of the deal of the day items for the past several sales now, making it unable to be combined with the coupons.
I’ve noticed that too! It’s quite irritating and I don’t shop at Macy’s nearly as much as I used to because of so many exclusions with the coupons.
I haven’t shopped there for long time. Hate their coupon. It’s useless. Jcpenny’s $10 off $10 can’t be combined with 10% off. Not good either. Love Kohls, I sometimes got $10 off anything and 30% off and you can combine them!!
Does anyone know if you can purchase Michael Kors with this coupon i wanted to get my mom a purse for mothers day and this coupon would be great
I am not sure about michael kors. The coupon says it excludes “selected licensed departments” so not sure if it would apply or not. They usually exclude some brands I know. Levis is usually one of them, not sure about the purses.
They never accept coupons for Michael Kors not even the 20% off coupons they had, nor this one. The lady that works at that department said michael kors is always excluded from sales and never accepts coupon. But you can always try and see maybe the cashier will do it for you – you never know!
So I know that the only times that a coupon doesn’t have exclusions on designer brands is during there friends and family and they just had it and it’s usually 25% off. Hope this helps.
I used to exclusively shop at the One Day sales for my kids’ Carter’s, Ralph Lauren and Nautica which were always eligible for use with the coupons for sale and clearance. Recently I noticed that all the clearance racks suddenly display Doorbuster tags (only during the time the coupon is valid) so it’s no longer worth it to shop there anymore. 🙁

Just got my MK wallet for $120 with tax using my family and friends code the other day. The wallet alone is $148.
Last 3 times I tried to use the $10 off $25, I left the store empty-handed. Shopping at Macy’s hasn’t been that great.

I went to the sale today and got quite a bit of stuff actually, though I couldn’t use any of the coupons. Most of the clearance clothing was a deal of the day and an extra 50% off. Some of it however was just regular clearance and only 40% more off and those didn’t have a deal of the day sign above them so I think those might have actually qualified for the coupon. The things I got were still worth it for the extra 50% off clearance I got them. I found nice thicker champion sweatpants for boys only $2.50 with the sale at my store. There were also some good deals in housewares. I got a Bella brand small deep fryer for $12 and a BELLA personal coffee maker for $6.50. I had been wanting those items anyways. The housewares were not deal of the day items but they told me anything you plug in with a cord (houseware items) were also excluded from the coupon.
