Consider signing up for a Target REDCard

Available as a credit card or debit card (no annual fee!), Target REDcard holders always score FREE shipping (no minimum!) on Target.com– which means you can save gas and time… and opt to shop in your pajamas!

Another awesome benefit is that you’ll get an extra 5% off all purchases in-store and online (will automatically come off during checkout when you use your REDcard)! There is also the additional perk of scoring 30 extra days for returns.

Check out The One Spot

Located at the front of the store, The One Spot offers up a great selection of organizational items, kid’s items, party favors, gift basket items and more all priced at just $1. Check your Target Cartwheel offers often as you may find discounts for 10%-20% off The One Spot.

Look for Clearance

Keep your eyes peeled for Clearance items throughout the store often on the Endcaps – usually, clearance items are marked with red clearance stickers. And yes, you can use coupons with clearance items (as long as the coupons don’t exclude clearance) which makes for some awesome deals… possibly even FREE deals! 🙂

Get to Know Target Store Brands

If you haven’t already, get to know the Target store brands like Up & Up, Archer Farms (love the trail mix!), and Market Pantry. Plus, be sure to check Target.com for store coupons AND browse for Cartwheel offers, as you’ll often find some nice savings on these brands.

Look for Target Gift Card Offers

Target gift card promotions may last for a week, month, or even longer. Many times, these gift card promotions are only advertised in the store and not in the circular – so be on the lookout!  To access a Target Gift Card, you usually have to buy certain participating products – and by doing so, you receive the gift card at checkout. The cashier will be prompted by the register to give you the gift card. Note that you won’t be able to use the gift card on that purchase, but you can use the gift card on future purchases so you can keep “rolling” gift card deals over and over again!

Target also gives you $.05 off per shopping bag used to bag your items. It does have to be reasonable. Don’t expect to buy 10 greeting cards and bring 10 shopping bags and expect $.50 off (10x$.05), but in this case, the cashier will probably use only 1 shopping bag to hold the 10 greeting cards and therefore give you $.05 off.

In the visual example, you could have also used your Target credit/debit card for 5% off and shopping bag discount.
    Thanks for a great video.

If you sign up for the RedCard make sure you enroll in the Target Take Charge Of Education, because it will give a school of your choice, 1% back on all purchases you make. So it’s a great way to help out your kids school. 🙂

Great suggestions. I’m on a limited budget, so I save the Gift Cards I acquire, and include several in graduation cards. This is the season! I used to buy discounted Jamba Juice cards, but then found that didn’t work for grads in other states. But Target is everywhere, and grads can choose anything from dorm furnishings to food.
