Thanks a lot !! I really needed something like that to motivate my kiddo.

  2. Amanda B.

    Any reading resources?

    • Katie

Starfall.com has lots of free stuff, if you have a young kid. Most libraries have summer reading programs. SpellingCity.com for some free spelling games…

    • angelahoang12

I second starfall.com! It is awesome.

    • jacksideas

Not resources, but incentives – both Pottery Barn Kids and Barnes and Noble have summer reading programs where the kids earn a free book after completion.

    • Carrie

      Reading-rewards.com is awesome!

  3. Stephanie

Does anyone know if you can add more than one child? I have three in school right now, would love to be able to do this for each of them!

    • Danielle

I was able to add another child. When you enter the info for the 1st child you can select “add another child”.

    • LC

Yes you can. I have three also and was able to registered all three of them.

    • Shannan

I was able to add both of my kids! 🙂

    • Julie

Yes, you can enter multiple children.

    • Powell Sherri Russ

yes you can sign up all children

  4. Mindy

  5. R

You can add more than one. I just added my two daughters

  6. Brandi B.

Thank you! I signed up my first and 6th graders. It can’t hurt that’s for sure! Maybe it will give them a head start for next year.

  7. mom2six

    thanks!!!

  8. tisha

this is one of the coolest freebies I’ve ever seen – just signed up all 3 of my kids 🙂

  9. Teia

  10. mel

Thanks. My son needs some extra help in math, he really did a spiral towards the end of the school year. I hope this helps reinforce what he learned and get a head start to next year!

another good website is http://www.khanacademy.com it’s for K-12 also and has specific modules that you can pick in each area – like fractions, planets, periodic table, counting, etc.

    • Happymama

I was going to say that! Khan academy is really good!

    • RB

I happened to just find my way there. I have been reviewing some math concepts in preparation for working with a 5th grader, and I found some helpful videos there on the basics.

    • Dana

      I also LOVE Khan Academy!

  12. Lara

I have upcoming 1st and 3rd graders. This is awesome!

  13. Nicole

Thank for this! I bought a math/science CD set yesterday from the thrift store. It’s for Windows 3.1 and from 1997. I’m scared to even put those CDs into my computer. I bought a kids learning CD from a yardsale before and it tried to put some advertising malware onto the computer so my computer wouldn’t allow the install. Now that I have this Tenmarks, I can ditch the CD set.

  14. n

    Thanks collin you are awesome!!!!!

  15. Ann Dee

    Thanks. Excited to try it…

  16. Kathleen

Thanks Colin, it’s always a challenge to keep the kiddos motivated to learn over the summer

  17. Cheryl

Thanks so much I just signed both my girls up very excited to have something for them this summer! 🙂

  18. Shauna

Thank you! I was able to sign up three of my older kids and this should be a great help this summer.

  19. mary

Thank you! This is a wonderful freebie!

  20. Rita

    Thanks Collin!

  21. Kam

Since this is an Amazon company, do you have to sign up with your regular Amazon email account?

  22. angelahoang12

Thank you! I was just talking to my soon to be second grader this morning about the importance of still doing HW doing the summer. He will be excited it is online HW. Going to share this with his school principal.

  23. RB

How long does the (optional) initial assessment test take?

    • bethany

The assessment can take from 30-60 minutes.

  24. Lolita

Anyone know if you can do it without having to tell them which school your kiddo goes to?

    • Amanda C.

There is a section for other or homeschool.

  25. Heather Cooper

As usual Collin you have made me do my happy dance 🙂 The local math tutoring place here is like $300 for the summer!! Thank you 🙂

  26. hnhaslam

Its a subscribtion program but my kids have really enjoyed ixl.com for math practice

  27. Susie

    Yes you just select “Other”

  28. lori

Anyone have a GOOD vocabulary program to use over the summer? We’re good in the math subject, but could use some extra work with the spelling & vocab for a 6th grader, which is tough to find.

    • RB

Lori, a private English tutor can be extremely helpful for building vocabulary with accurate understanding of subtle connotations of the words. Improving a person’s vocabulary is inherently a part of, thus should be integrated with, building writing skills as well as reading comprehension skills.

  29. Jess

    Fabulous! Thanks so much !!

  30. Bobbie

Hi guys–new to TenMarks…is there a password we should know about for it?

  31. Tricia

Thanks so much…this will be awesome for my 3 kids!

  32. Julie

My daughter will be going in to 1st grade in the fall, would this work for her?

    • Jennifer

Yes–it asks what grade your child will be in in the fall. Hope that helps!

  33. trace

Thank u Collin! I’m in tears of joy to see this! We couldn’t afford the $300 plus program by us and this certainly helps! Thank you soooo much for helping my son.

  34. Tiara

Hands down one of the best freebies to date!

    • Thia

I second that! Thanks Collin :^)

  35. Jean

Ugh! I’m so cynical! What’s the catch??

  36. Michelle

I signed my daughter up, and it says she needs to take an assessment and says where to log in, but I can not get that webpage to work. Am I doing something wrong?

    • Lotemp

I can’t figure it out either!

    • Jen

It does look like you should just be able to click it from that page you are talking about – but you actually have to log yourself out at the top, and then log your child in to be able to do anything.

  37. Ann

I’m a third grade teacher and my kids used TenMarks at our school this year. It’s challenging, but very good. It really helped the kids’ math scores. It’s especially good if your school/state has to implement the Common Core curriculum.

  38. Julie

I’m interested in this but I feel there has to be a catch…nothing is free these days…
