Happy Friday: Not Just a Deal Site…
Sent from reader, Alysia:
Earlier this month, the Van’s Natural Coupon was posted and I commented saying Thanks, because this was a high value coupon that was EXTREMELY useful to my family! My 2yr old (almost 3) son has severe food allergies to over six everyday items. He can actually eat Van’s Waffles and gets them very rarely because they are so expensive. Several readers asked for my address to send me theirs. So expecting maybe one or two if that, I checked my mail today and received not one or two but TEN Vans coupons. I literally cried – thank you to whomever for taking the time, money and love for one another to send them to me, and thank you Collin for posting and making the helping hands connection like this!
Hip2Save is so much more that just another “Deal site.” You all will make a little boy’s day tomorrow when he gets a waffle for breakfast!
HAPPY FRIDAY! 😀
Do you have a funny, “Hip”, or unique photo to share?! Email us at happyfriday@hip2save(dot)com. Every Friday, I will post one photo, submitted by you and/or another Hip2Save reader, that gives us a glimpse into your frugal lifestyle or simply makes us smile. If your photo is published on Hip2Save, we’ll email you a $10 Amazon e-card!
Im sorry, i just read it more closely and thought Colin wrote this and just realized it was from a reader. But regardless….im glad this lady got all these coupons….and Hip2Save still rocks.

I love this!
What a GREAT story!
That is wonderful!!! I understand to some degree because my son has severe food allergies to at least three foods. These products are not cheap either!!! I am very happy for you!!
That’s awesome!!!
Yes, where is the forum where we can trade coupons?
Awww that’s so sweet made me want to cry thinking of him getting waffles. Hip2savers are awesome.
Thanks for the heads up – will have to check out the Van’s waffles – my son just found out he is allergic to soy and all nuts – will have to see if those fit into his/our new diet!
This is why I love Hip2save! Even though I have never met any of you, it feels like it is a real community. Thank you Collin & thank you everyone!
Great story. If you live in an area with Wegmans grocery stores check them out. The family that owns them has a member with Celiacs so they not only carry a large selection of gluten free products but even carry their own store brand in some gluten free at their regular prices in some cases (sorry the blueberry waffles contain soy – I checked). Also check with your local store – the FeelRite stores here will allow me to order a case of Van’s at 20% off, they even take the coupons as well.
