Domino’s: Free Medium 2-Topping Pizza for 1st 20,000 MLB.com Account Holders on 5/27 Starting at 3PM ET
As I posted back in April, you can snag a FREE 2-topping pan pizza from Domino’s Pizza this MLB season whenever a pitcher throws a no-hitter! Even sweeter, a No-Hitter was just recently thrown, which means 20,000 registered MLB.com users are now eligible for a free Dominos Pizza beginning tomorrow 5/27 at 3PM ET. Sounds good to me! 🙂

*First, head over here and create an account with MLB.com (if you already have an account, you can skip this step).
*Starting tomorrow at 3PM ET (or whenever a pitcher throws a no-hitter this season), head over here and enter your MLB.com account.
*After each of the first 2 no-hitters, the first 20,000 MLB.com users to enter their MLB.com accounts will get a code valid for a FREE 2-topping pan pizza at Domino’s (carryout only).
*The Free pizza will be awarded in the form of a code. Code must be claimed and redeemed within 5 days starting from 12PM PDT the first business day following the no-hitter.

How did you get your code, I can’t even get the website to open. I get error messages. Did you have to refresh a million times or use a certain browser and did you go through Collin’s link above?

I had the page open since like 2:30, hit refresh at 3, put my info in and it said it sent me an email. I have a friend though who is having trouble getting in though, so idk.
Looks like only one person has actually gotten this to work. Hopefully that means that 19,999 codes are still available. 🙂

Wow…I tried to log into the site right at the top of the hour, but couldn’t get in for 5 minutes. When I finally got in, I received a message, “Please wait while we process your information.” So I waited some more, and then I got a message, “An error occurred. Please try again.” So I tried again and the same thing happened all over again. So, after 22 minutes I gave up. I know it’s only a pizza, but it’s frustrating to have so much trouble with the site.

I agree, very frustrating. I made sure I opened up an account yesterday so I would be ready and I have logged into their site several times with no problem. Now when I enter my user name and password for the free pizza they are saying it is the incorrect user name and password. Forget it!!!! I’ve wasted waaaaaayyyy too much of my time for nothing.

I am getting this too now after I have gotten an error so many times- says a redemption code was already claimed using my login. Maybe one will show up in our emails eventually.

I almost never complain about missing out on a freebie – it’s just luck and timing. THIS, however, does upset me…. I really wish Dominos/MLB had done it for paying MLB.com members with subscriptions… I give them well over $100 every year and do without other things in order to watch my out of market team… it would’ve been nice to actually get in on this one 🙁

I feel your pain and agree to an extent. I find it super irritating when a freebie intended for a specific group of people gets exploited by the couponing community so the people its intended for miss out. I totally get that. This is a little different because it wasn’t really a small group of people.. like you said, they could have limited it to paid subscribers to deal with demand but they chose not to. There’s been quite a bit of this stuff lately. For ex, I’ve been a member of BzzAgent for over a decade and was invited to a campaign for Kroger a few months ago. They released a really high value eCoupon to load to Kroger cards and someone blogged how to find it in the coupon community, it spread like wildfire and many participants in the actual campaign didn’t get it! Extremely unfair if you ask me but not the end of the world I guess.
Same thing has been happening the last month with these Meijer grand opening codes for freebies in mperks. Intended for one store’s area but exploited online. However much of the blame falls on the retailers because they could do this the old fashioned way and mail or even email coupons or links to specific people that are one time use instead of doing codes. Imo, MLB.com intended for this to raise awareness and interest in their site and services, which unfortunately I don’t think will work because many of the couponers wanting the free pizza don’t care to pay $100 a year to subscribe. Many only created accounts for this freebie and won’t login again until the next no hitter!
i see what your saying, I just wanted to clarify that this promotion was posted on sites outside of the “coupon community” it was also posted on usa today, cnbc, and on local news channel websites just to name a few. Just don’t want the “coupon community” to take ALL the blame. 🙂
No, the point is that MLB and/or Dominos opened up this promo to ANY MLB account holder, where previously, the free pizza after a no-hitter was for MLB.TV account holders, kind of like a small baseball-only cable channel system ($120/yr at full price, reduced throughout the year). TOTALLY agreed with Amanda on this one. Infuriating.

Totally agreed, Amanda. I am furious that any MLB account could get this, instead of the MLB.TV subscribers as in years past. Even with MLB.TV, I’ve heard the codes spread over 2 hrs; not sure this “open to any MLB account holder” lasted 2 minutes. Very frustrating.
Perhaps they wanted to reach out to more than just current subscribers this time? They don’t HAVE to give any one free pizza, no one is ENTITLED to one, paid subscription or not. Last time they did it only for subscribers, this year not. It’s their choice.
And it lasted more than two minutes….I got one an hour after it opened, received many error messages before hand though.
No one said anything about entitlement. As long as they agreed to OFFER the FREE pizza, would be NICE to reward and acknowledge PAYING customers.

I got the first error code, then started getting “sorry, a code has already been claimed with this login” several times. I don’t think it worked at all. Such a bummer!

Everyone that tried and got an error code, check your email. I was getting error messages and then tried ONE more time and got message “already claimed” so I went to my email and there was my free code.
Got that message too and I didn’t receive a emailed code.

Tried with two email addresses, After several error messages, got the message that a code has already been received by both. Only one email address actually received a code. I’m happy with that.

wow, I finally got some codes like about 4 to 4:30. I just ordered a pizza for my parents who live 3 hours away from me. They’re pretty happy for free dinner tonight. I will save mine other codes for tomorrow dinner for us!

Yeah! I finally got my code emailed to me. I received the message that one had already been claimed by my MLB account and it finally came through. I never did see that one was going to be emailed to me. So keep eyes peeled if you got that message you might get one too. I’m in the PST zone.
