We bought this printer for $150 and it’s been great! print speed is very fast, quiet, easy to use and there is a way to print black and white for coupons (although I had to call to find the setting b/c I was on a mac and was lost lol). The only bad thing is the ink is very expensive. Office Max usually has their brand but b/c it’s a newer printer they don’t, and the “compatible” ink from Amazon didn’t fit. I just spent a lot of money on ink. Just something about. Oh – when printing pictures, quality is great though!

I was going to say the same thing about the ink. 😉 Other than that, I have no complaints! Awesome printer!

Happymama, I have tried to find out how to print b/w for coupons. Can you share how you do it? I also have a mac. Thanks!

look for the printer settings click on them and there should be an option to change for color grey scale or blk ink only.. hope that helps

I just saw an email from 1sale.com last night that has this printer for $55 and free ship. I’m sure it’s an older model for that price but worth looking into! And thanks for the ink info. I like my all-in-one except for the ink costs so if I switch it will be for a similar one that does good with cheap ink!

I purchased this same printer from staples for $65 back in January.

i noticed this one and a previous printer deal i saw has “Six Individual Ink Tank System”… are all new printers like this? what about just black & color ink cartridges?

    • Nicole S

      Leanne,
I don’t have this specific printer but generally it’s cheaper to own a printer like this because you only replace the ink you need. For example, on a regular printer, if your cartridge runs out of yellow before magenta and cyan, the cartridge is junk. Unless you refill it yourself. But on this kind of printer, you just replace the yellow and you’re good to go. I’ve also heard good things about being able to buy the ink and refill these cartridges by yourself pretty easily.
      I hope this helps! 🙂
