is anyone having trouble getting the $3 in points we are supposed to get every month for being a Shop your way member?
You only get those $3 in points if you pay $39 annually to be a shop your way max member.
Yea..that’s what I meant. I did that and for the past 3 months I’ve gotten an email saying I had so many days to spend my $3…but I never see them in my account..
they show under a different tab. On the Sears or Kmart page at the very top left side click on where it says “Shop your Way”. When it launches a new page then click on the shopping bag that says points. It will show both the points you have from shopping and any surprise points you’ve earned from clicking ads.
Thanks. Got them and have been using these points for small items. On the other hand, I got $3 surprise points… WHEN YOU SPEND $75! Lol

Lucky you. I was getting free points every week but not this week, have offer but have to spend.
Do you get these surprise points in your email or just checking your account?
These points that Collin posted are “local ad” points, and you will see them in your account now, but they won’t show in your total points until the day they start.
“Surprise” points show when you click “surprise” points under your total points, and you get emails, too! Surprise points aren’t added to your total points! I hope that wasn’t too confusing!
How do you use the surprise points? When I checkout I doesn’t show it.
A few weeks ago I had this happen to me. I tried to change a few things in the cart and nothing would work. I contacted the Shop Your Way Rewards Customer service line they were super helpful and just credited my account the $30 for the surprise points. I could have easily used it on anything else but I bought the items that were in the category the surprise points were for. HTH
You have to put in your PIN number on the left side of page. Also, “surprise” points can only be used for that specific store.
I don’t see the bonus points in my account.
Has anyone else been getting a “you have reached your reward, this order will be shipped for free!” notification when you add an item to your cart (even a very cheap item)? This keeps happening to me, but when I get to checkout it always tries to charge me shipping! I have chatted with sales associates and the only way they deal with it is to refund me the shipping cost. Just wondering if anyone else has this happen to them and if they know why??
Have you thought about picking up in store? It’s so easy and if you have the app, you can have it brought up to your car 🙂 I just did this and it took them 2 min to bring it out to me 🙂
Its only if your a max member. It happens to me. But I just choose in store pick u because I could see it clearly was going to charge me shipping.
Does anyone know if you can use your regular shop your way points and surprise points in the same transaction? I have $6 in points and $4 off of $10 surprise points but I cannot seem to find out how to apply my surprise points?
Yes you can use both! When you are checking out they show how many suprise points you have
I dd this and it said I was rewarded the points, but they are not showing in my account. Does it take a few days?
Can you use the 3$ worth of free point in store or is it only for online purchases?
Both. I have a Kmart nearby so I check a blog that has all the Kmart deals and get cereal, milk, soap or toilet paper using those points and coupons when available. I also have a Sears, but if I am not needing any gift, clothing or shoes then I prefer to get free food for my family.
