The night time 5k Neon Dash Fun Run will have you walking, running or even dancing through the course while you are covered in vibrant Neon paint from head to toe (note that all runners MUST wear a solid white t-shirt or their given Participant Shirt). And as you run, music from the multiple Glow Zones will keep your pumped up and energized. After you finish the race, hit the After Dash Bash filled with performers, music, food/drinks, and lots of Ultra Violet Blacklight festivities!

Your Neon Dash registration includes a donation to their chosen Charity Partner, Runner’s Bib to hang on your wall after you’ve been sprayed with Glow Water, limited edition T-Shirt, Neon Dash Headband, and entry to the After Dash Bash.
Children 5 and Under can participate for FREE, but they will not receive a bib, t-shirt or other items a paying participant receives. Children 6 and over must register and pay just as everyone else.
Wondering what is actually in the Neon? Depending on the city and time of year, you’ll be covered with Neon powder or water – it is safe, non-toxic, biodegradable, and gluten free and only glows when illuminated by industrial strength blacklights. It does not continue glowing outside of those lights.

Anyone done this? Sounds like fun but I’m confused. The “about” talks about the”after the bash” yet none of the schedules include it. Races all seem to start at 8ish over leave or clean up at 10? Not really a 5k then after the bash with performers/music/food

Already over in Ohio 🙁 I could use to save some buck on race entries.
I just completed the one in Columbus, OH last weekend and it was an absolute blast. I was not disappointed and I can’t wait until next year to do it again. The 5k started at 9pm with many waves and it was about 9:20pm when I got to the race starting line. There were several color station during the race and I ended up with a decent colored participant shirt. Most of the color is liquid instead of powder. However, after the race is when I had a blast and got the most color. The after party had a DJ and a lot of color being sprayed into the crowd. There was a lot of dancing and beach balls bouncing around in the crowd. For a “for fun only” run and a one of a kind experience, I would highly recommend it. Like I said, I can’t wait to do it again next year if it comes back. 🙂
Did you wash your shirt afterwards and did any of the color stay on it? I just did mine this weekend and I don’t want it to wash out. I think it looks cooler that way!
Yes, I washed my shirt. It faded it some but you definitely can still see the color.
