The worst case I ever had. The white part yellowed on mine even though I kept it very clean. Nobody could hear me on the phone. Otterbox sent me a new one which I was able to sell. My young daughter has one in a different color for our old iphone4 that she uses like an ipod, so it works OK for her. $5 is a great deal, but thought I’d give my personal experience. There is a reason this case is selling for so cheap. They need to get rid of them. 😉

I bought this a few months ago when it was on Amazon for $24.50. It does the job but is much larger and bulkier than the current iPhone 5 cases (hence the sale price). The metal clasps on the side are ridiculous and my phone goes from slim to huge. Also the apple charger will work but after market ones may not – I have to take my phone out of the case to charge it in my car. As they say, you get what you pay for.

Got 3 white ones for my mother in law my father in law and one extra case for me. I paid 25 for the orange one and still use it. Of course since taking it out I have broken my phone.

It’s worth noting that this is a heavy duty case. It’s bulky and covers everything. For your average person in everyday use it might be over kill. It was never meant to be thin and discreet. But if you’re like me and have a son who has sunk your phone in the toilet 3 times, it’s probably worth the extra bulk.
It’s likely cheap because the iPhone 6 is coming out soon and the 5 is a much older phone, not because it’s not good.

Reviews were 50/50. If they didn’t like it, they blasted this thing! The ones that liked it gave it a lot of compliments. So for 5 bucks I’ll take a chance. Order hasn’t been canceled (yet lol). My email said it is ready for pickup.
